Welcome Lost Souls! And also, welcome to this round's group of new players!

Want to jump right in? This month's Substories are posted here!. As for what's been going on...

Just like the TDM set up, Jigokucho is in recovery mode after the dissipation of a curse that befell the city. It was a full-on horror apocalypse.

The curse is gone, there are rumors stirring that the turf war has ended, and the Kappa are all going back down to work on building… something. It’s all pretty hush-hush, but anyone that’s not in the Department can ask freely about it. The Enma has bigger things to be concerned with already anyway (namely the newly named cause of the curse: Haniyasu).

So what does that mean for the next two months? Well, between whatever it is being cooked up in the Underground and everything else, the theme of these two months is Tanabata! How that celebration takes shape in a place like Jigokucho will be revealed as the month goes on, so stay tuned to find out more!

Brief Rundown:

An angel who just isn't very good at being an angel. That's probably because he's not just an angel— there's a lot of mystery involving just what he is, ranging from "more biblically accurate angel" to "half demon half angel." He has demon wings on his left side that are crumpled and scarred, angel wings on the right that are grand and fluffy, and his true face has many many eyes on his angel side. He just keeps these hidden, unless they happen to slip out on accident. He's left handed but has been trained to use his right. He can't seem to bring himself to kill demons even if he has always been told to. Having had a traumatic 100 first years of his life abandoned in a human church, Shealtiel has a tense relationship with both humans and demons. He doesn't feel like he belongs to any group, and he struggles with his own identity. When he's backed into a corner, he reacts like a wild animal, anger and violence and all. (Sometimes murder!) He has no friends and no idea how to make them, but behind all of his issues, he's just someone who's afraid of being alone and wants people to reach out to him, even if it's still very difficult for him to trust things like that.

Initial Ideas:

So, first thing's first, Shealtiel is going to want to try to get to know people in his faction! Even if he has complicated feelings on all of this, he will put everything aside to try and make connections, friendships, or at least to try and climb the ladder within, so to speak. He's not very good at it, so I expect awkward conversations, bad attempts at bonding, invitations to things that don't go perfectly, so on and so forth. If you want to watch him struggle and are in his same faction, let me know if you'd like to do something!

If you're in a different faction, maybe rivalry, maybe surprise friendships? Shealtiel will have a tendency to favor his own faction more, but we'll see how that goes. He'll be interested in meeting everyone, but will want to impress his own teammates more, basically!

Also, I'd love to do some substories. I am up for doing things with any of them, but in particular:

Substory 3 (It's very time consuming) sounds like a great chance to get up to a bunch of unfortunate things or meet new people through misfortune!
Substory 4 (It's in the stars...) is something Shealtiel will super jump on, rushing to collect as much as he can and certainly dealing with the effects of it. He can spread it to others, try to beat others to gathering the dust and causing them both to get mixed up in it, or whatever you can think of!

CR Desires:

Being a newbie, I am open to all things, but here are some ideas with me expanding on Shealtiel's character.

໒꒱ Roomie(s)? We can used assigned housing as an excuse ICly, since Shealtiel would of course prefer to be alone, but would deal with whatever he was given. He will try to steal the bed. He may succeed or burst pillows in the process.

໒꒱ Neighbors Along those same lines, if Shealtiel gets a roomie or you already have one and don't need more, maybe they can live close by? In the same horibble apartment complex? Maybe Shealtiel is the one stomping around one floor above you. There's lots of fun stuff to do with this, imo.

໒꒱ Friends Of course, people who can deal with his stuffy, angry, awkward self and try to become his friend. I swear he's kind of cute if you get past the lowkey insanity.

໒꒱ Faction (Enma) buds/Higher ups? See the "initial ideas" section above! Also, if there are those who have been here in the same faction longer and have any stand within it (even if it's just longevity), Shealtiel will want to know you! Depending on the level of respect he has for someone, he might tack on a few nice words before their name like "mister" or etc. Even if he's told to stop.

໒꒱ Rivals/Enemies/Conflict Naturally, being the yelly and argumentative type that he is, it's easy to get some conflict in there, but maybe we can take it a little further? Motivating each other in different factions through rivalry? Deep issues from either side coming to light? Bickering to UST? I'm up for all sorts of things.

໒꒱ Demons or demon look alikes! Got horns? Claws and fangs? Red eyes? Maybe some dark, black wings? Well, with the latter, Shealtiel will throw up. But with everything else he might just shout a bunch at first because he doesn't know what to do with himself. This will calm the more he's in the game, so now's a great chance to get "Shealtiel calling you a filthy demon" for some light bickering and potential comedic arguments. And, most likely, Shealtiel reflecting on his identity issues afterwards.

໒꒱ Smut I just want to put it out there that I'm open for it, and even if Shealtiel takes a lot of time to work up to physical contact of any level, I'm sure some prompts down the line can make it work. Alternatively, if you want to work up their ~bond~ to be a little cuter with it, we can do that! Let me know.

Per my permissions post for Aerith: Straight-forward and rebellious, Aerith wears her mischievousness like a badge of honor. She's a spunky young woman and shrewd business woman, having spent a great deal of time selling flowers— As a naturally adaptable person, she's surprisingly street smart even though she definitely comes off as being very quirky. Aerith is sweet, kind, flirtatious and snarky; she's got a biting sense of humor that probably feels a bit pointed with how perceptive to others she is.

As of the end of last month's event, she's had her first promotion!

Initial Ideas:

Last month, Aerith helped Emily and Shylock with helping develop the incense that got Tower Clean Up Gang into Kaigo-no-Bou. It feels appropriate to work on giving her some more stability in game now, so in addition to a shiny new promotion (one star!), Aerith's got big goals this month. I'm going to try moving forward with Aerith's flower motifs by giving her a flower growth ability. It's been approved and you can read more about it here. I also have a network post up with her advertising this new ability. I may have an open prompt for her selling flowers this month.

The goal next month is to put in her request for a shop, which was my first milestone for her in game. This month, I think I want to either grab part of her sixth sense back, orrr another promotion. We'll see. Maybe I'll grab both if I somehow wind up with enough points for it.

I'll be tagging out for substories, so if anything appeals to you, please let me know and we can hash something out. Substories that appeal to me:

🎀 Swipe Left, again! Aerith's devastated that everyone thinks she's plain looking. I think it's funny. She will be, however, boasting about how hot Cloud is... On that note, I would be SUPER down for this to lead to blind dates or something, to tie into...

🎀 It's In The Stars. This is the Big Thing I'm interested in this month! I'm open to get messy with pre-existing CR with this. Lewd threads, cute threads, everything: let's indulge this month and get some healing going from last month.

🎀 The watch substory looks fun, but I'd prefer to throw Aerith into someone else's substory thread for this. I'm curious if maybe Pray might have some kind of effect on it, but I'll hold out until I have reason to ask lol

Otherwise, she'll be playing big sis to any Tamamo newbies and likely working on moving away from being Tamamo's resident delivery girl finally.

Neighbor CR is at the top of my list again! Tamamo newbies, oldbies and in betweens: if you'd be down for having a neighbor who keeps bringing home more and more flowers, hit me up. Aerith is a decent neighbor and would try to get to know everyone in her complex, so this is an easy way to hand wave 'first meetings', too.

I would love for Aerith to meet more people that Destiny Chose, healers, and spiritualists. People who have magical sixth senses, etc etc... she has been deprived of people who get her on these fronts and I want her to make more friends.

My next planned regain for her is the ability to communicate with flowers, specifically, so anyone florally inclined or interested in "crazy woman helpfully hears voices"... well, come to me... :3

More people to send out for flower deliveries or taking orders for her! I want to work on getting her a storefront hopefully soooooonish? After the flower talk regain, at least, so hey!

Really want late night shifts at the clinic threads this month, some nice lowkey cr building stuff. I want to play it by ear on some level still, hah

Iiiii Think she's going to be interested in trying to weasel her way out into the Wastelands at some point soon with everything she's found out from last cycle... Or at least tell some people she wants to do it. Who wants to hear about it.

Aerith really is blossoming in terms of her comfort and autonomy right now; I would adore for her to feel like she's part of friend groups and things like that, so general "give Aerith some pals" goes here.

Okay, I'm serious: I'm up for anything and I will come up with a way for our characters to meet if you're stumped. Aerith is a busy body, talkative and a bit of a nuisance. I'm sure I can make it work.

I like negative CR. I think it's funny when people dislike her for no reason. Feel free to do that and be as funny as you like.

Ohhh I love thier CR so far and am looking forward to their tea and cake hang. Guangyao also recently got his core back and can sense, magic/qi now as well as use it a bit so I would be down for that kind of thing if you are!

Brief Rundown:

Background | Majima is a Tokyo yakuza who arguably managed to piss off his boss (really, he was set up) and was disappeared to a black site where he was tortured for a year. Once they let him out, he was kept as a civilian pet in rival yakuza territory. He's very depressed and traumatized. He's coming to you from Slumscape, which was traumatizing in its own right. That does also mean he's actually very familiar with yokai and has his own. His yokai is an Uwabami (snake) by the name of Chijoku. Joku is a little bit of shit stirrer, but for the most part Majima's well-being is his well-being and he mostly just wants to eat and drink all the time.

🐍 Slumscape snake changes: fangs, slit eyes, split tongue, scales, and a tail.

In Jigoku-cho Majima is a pretty prominent Shuten lieutenant. He is demonstrably loyal to the clan and Toraguma's interests. He knows a lot more about the yakuza life than a lot of other Lost Souls and is perfectly willing to answer questions. He would rather just answer the question before someone goes and does something stupid, only to end up hurt. With his various regains, he is fleshing out yokai levels of strength and ability. He has no problems with being half-yokai at this point and takes some pride in representing the Uwabami for Chijoku.

He's got a drag persona named Goromi. She works part-time at whatever hostess club wants to rotate her in on a night. She has a beautytuber channel and a local fan club. She's got recent prompts here.

Brief Rundown: Kokichi Oma is the Ultimate Supreme Leader and former leader of a 'top secret evil organization'...which was mostly a group of rowdy teens rebelling against capitalism, but still. He's a former participant of the Gifted Inmates Academy killing game, and he's got some remaining trauma from what since he was more or less elected 'villain' there.

This Kokichi, however, is also CRAU - I've taken him after some development in Deer Country! To sum it up, Kokichi is a Darkblood, which means he has one extra power: if he lies about something well enough for someone to believe it, it can become the truth. He's good at lying, so this is a massive boon to him. He also has a custom RWBY weapon called 'Pixieduster' that is a Calvary lance that is also a crossbow, made by Ruby Rose herself. He also might be pouty bc he just got into a relationship with Kaneki Ken Tokyoghoul only to be dropped into literal Hell, so. That sucks, rofl.

Initial Ideas: I....am not really sure? I expected to not be in Enma if I'm being honest so no thoughts, head empty. Kokichi is probably going to be a lawyer and do the whole razzle dazzle, but it's all uncertain rn.

They have no sense of fashion (after however long of wearing black robes and a mask) and often forget to eat (because they didn't need to do that very often before).

Initial Ideas:
I'm open to having Azem help out with any of the substories. She'll definitely be interested in this "stardust" and be collecting it. So I'm open to shenanigans from that.

CR Desires: I'm down for anything, really, so long as it's not negative CR for no reason. Azem is interested in people and likes to make friends and connections. Brief Rundown: Yujin Mikotoba is a Japanese professor of forensic pathology (and yes, a doctor) from ~1900 Japan. He's a father (and foster father), teacher, and mentor; he also had the opportunity to study abroad in London, where he worked with and befriended a certain Dr. John Watson Wilson. He had a WILD time back in the day: plot twist, he was Herlock Sholmes' Baker Street flatmate and partner all those years, not Wilson. Yep, he's the real Watson, surprise! That (and all the other crazy stuff that happened to him in London) is all on a need to know basis, though, SO... mostly, he's a polite Meiji/Victorian gentleman with a lot of hope for the next generation, so kids, he is here to support your smashing the system and whatnot. He holds absolutely NO secrets, is NOT a nosy little meddler, and most DEFINITELY won't be breaking any laws or tripping into shenanigans around hell. Why would you say that. Look at him, very normal dad over here.

Initial Ideas: Past catching up with his castmates, he'll mostly be getting the lay of the land and trying to start making connections, especially across clans. I don't have huge plans otherwise, let's WING IT (ง •̀_•́)ง✨

Character Name: Kimmuriel Oblodra

Faction: Sutoku
Brief Rundown: Kimmuriel is a five foot one psionicist and mercenary captain who is deadpan 90% of the time and is usually shouting at someone in disbelief for that last 10% about a bad idea. He's a drow from the Forgotten Realms setting so he calls every yokai a demon and will bitch people out in Undercommon sometimes. He's an inch less irritable now that the blood rain has stopped, which is not a lot.

He's also ranked up this month! Exciting.

Initial Ideas: Now that the world's worst bad vibes headache has stopped happening to him and he has had a bit more responsibility foisted on him than running around trying to clean up messes after the fact, Kimmuriel is going to be actually settling a bit and seeing if he can bolster his individual reputation through his usable skills.

What all this means essentially is that he will be starting to really gather things for his own services and running a kitbashed workshop out of his apartment, essentially. He's focusing on getting equipment he can use to distill and make poison out of the weird shit they've got down here, but as it turns out, he's also something of a professional when it comes to item-making! While he can't imbue any items to give them magical powers (yet), he's actually pretty good when it comes to making hidden compartments and weaponry with additional tricks to them and all that. If you need something with an extra hidden edge or customization, he can provide that, for a price.

He'll also be around with substories though I'm more likely to tag out to other folks when it comes to that. He's gonna be a bit busy this month with his own stuff for once.

CR Desires: Unhelpfully: seriously, anything. I love any and all CR.
More specifically:
- People who he can nerd out about some weird interest with. Kimmuriel is a prickly little bastard but he does respect people who are just genuinely into their weird hobbies that he might also overlap with.
- People who are about his equivalent of old, haha. Both people who are genuinely centuries old and who are about the equivalent of middle age are all good. He's used to a lot of folks he knows being younger than him by a mile but he does sort of vaguely miss being able to complain with older people.
- Negative CR is totally okay! If you do not like Kimmuriel thats a legitimate reaction because though he's gotten slightly better over a century and some change, he still approaches sensitive topics he doesn't care about with either stonewalling or 'goes straight for the kneecaps'. Also in general he just doesn't give a shit about things so he's inclined to be callous or detached or just a real shithead!

Brief Rundown: Jonathan is from a horror podcast set in London. Originally a researcher and academic at the Magnus Institute, got a promotion to Head Archivist where everything went from bad to literal Hell as monsters and horrors turn out to be real and they are coming after him. Initial Ideas: Initially Jon is going to be really surprised and revel in being human again. He'll want to meet the folks in Enma before he realizes how Enma is. He's not going to see much point in division with faction lines once he gets to know anyone. He'll likely be part of one of the substories. I didn't really plan much! Just that he's human so he's going to reacquaint himself with everything that goes along with that (eating, sleeping, being able to be hurt- I mean what). He's also kinda very nearsighted right now and is going to need to find glasses at some point.

She lives to be fawned over and complimented, and works as an idol! Except she's not super good at singing and her entire schtick is based off of fish, being that she's the daughter of a fishmonger and all. She's also fairly violent and vulgar and is ultimately a peach to be around. Her english voice is Cassandra Lee Morris, if you care about that sort of thing!

Initial Ideas: Just be a general nuisance, mostly. Try to get into the entertainment scene and learn what's going on in town. Eventually she'll change her tune, maybe.

Brief Rundown: A high-ranking officer in the army of Pentagona World, under Emperor Posaydal - specifically part of the Extra 13, essentially the sorts that get smaller contingents assigned to them so they can do their missions. Nei was very close to, and involved with the Extra 13's leader, Giwaza Lowaw. She's one of the main character, Daba's, primary two rivals, generally the more competent one, having been in her position from the start, though she and Daba are often fairly evenly matched, and she's quick to retreat when it's clear she's got the disadvantage. She gets caught up in a web of scheming and backstabbery between Posaydal, Giwaza, and some other parties - ending up something of a prisoner of Posaydal after trying to implicate one of those other parties in aiding rebel forces. Posaydal then pressures her to turn on Giwaza and assassinate him for moving against her authority as emperor, and Nei intends to try and reach out to her lover when she returns to him to try and sort this out, but by this time, Giwaza has grown paranoid, and has ordered Nei to be attacked on sight. This pushes her to the brink, reconsidering her plan, and turning on Giwaza in a fit of rage and betrayal when she finds him, cutting his arm off, but getting shot in the process...and now she's here in hell, pissed off about it.

Initial Ideas: Being fresh off of Getting Fuckin' Dead because of shit within a faction brought about by what was perceived as an inadequate leader, Nei ending up as Enma is Interesting. I'm very open to her getting influenced by people that are of the opinion that The Enma Sucks, even if she might be wary of it to start with? It's complicated.

CR Desires: Nei's kinda stuffy and prickly, so I'm open to both people that like to drag people out of their shells and those that cause friction. Especially if the character is A Goddamned Moron, because her best interactions in-series were with idiots.

A partial lieutenant in the Alliance, and thus trying to learn how to navigate the politics while keeping as many people alive as possible.

Emily is also a CRAU from slumscape, and that means she's currently possessed by a tengu spirit named Hibiki. Though they only sometimes come out to commentate, they're as much a part of her as her own limbs, and influence her thoughts and decision making, and may fully take her over at times to experience life for their own self.

Initial Ideas:

Emily was part of the team last month along with Aerith and Shylock that developed the incense to get people into Kaigo-no-Bou, as well as trying to keep as many people alive as possible. This month then is focused around calmer actions and less into intense threads - not to say they can't happen! That said, there are some things I've got on the table as definite wishes and wants.

Clinic: Emily runs an IC medical clinic for all Lost Souls - it is known by word of mouth, so if you play a character that wants to either help out with it or needs first aid, hit me up and let me know! I'm available for all questions regarding it.

Music: To destress from the other job, Emily sings at a music club every now and then, and I'd love to have her sing for people. This month I was going to say the club she works at was doing a small event to reopen after the cursed rain, so all are welcome, either as fellow acts or an audience on the regular.

Sutoku: As a ranked Sutoku, Emily's trying to take on more responsibility in the Alliance and actively participate in the life to a degree - this means making herself available to new Sutoku members who need help, but also being a known face in that kind of business.

Stardust: This is the substory I'm most interested in trying out this month, particularly with Emily suffering the massive stress of last month as well as her usual tight self control. She'll want to collect it for the Alliance, but there's nothing saying she might not hold onto it for a moment to extend the good vibes. That said...

Possession: I would love this month for more people to meet Emily's possessing tengu. To that end, they'll be taking over her body more frequently and going out on the town - the Stardust will be affecting them as well, and they'll be open with encouragement. On their own, they're a somewhat cryptic observer type who will try anything once and love to hear stories, as well as pierce right to the heart of problems. Emily will apologize for any chaos they want to cause.

CR Desires:

Clinic help: Basically, I just want coworker CR who also understands the stress of "why do we have so many reckless people in this city." Please apply and let Emily shed tears of joy over more qualified people around.

Negative CR: I'd actually really like to build towards people who just do not like each other for one reason or another. Just because Emily is patient doesn't mean she suffers fools or people being aggressive towards her, and I'd like to get to tap into her less nice side with someone, particularly if down the line they have to grit their teeth and work together.

Brief Rundown: Soundwave was an idealist and in a revolutionary group called Decepticon that wants to bring down an oppressive system and bring equality to their world. But despite their noble goal, they ended being the biggest bad guy in the war when the Decepticons started to conquer other planets, blow up planets, and did a bunch of war crimes.

Once the war was truly over, things have started to change. Soundwave here realized that the Decepticon strayed far away from their initial path, and so wanted to go back to their original root, basically being all about peace and equality without using violence and conquering. He wants to make amends for all the bad shit he's done after realizing that humans do have emotions and started to value them just as much as any other Cybertronian.

tl;dr depressed idealist who dreamed an equal world for all Cybertronians, ex-villain who realized he was an asshole and immediately stopped being an asshole.

Also because being a transformer isn't cool enough, he has super hearings, is an empath, and can hear thoughts. He won't have these powers at the start, but he might get them back in the future, so check out his permission post here. If he does get them back, in general him reading people's mind isn't a thing he does often.

Initial Ideas: Nothing too big, I like to wing it. Just exploring the land first and making connections within his own faction because he learned that's an important thing to do. He won't be against making connections with other clans, since he kinda has to do the same back in his canon with the Autobots, but he tends to favor his own faction more.

The boss of his gang, the Lao Shu, who currently presides over the migrant neighborhood of Veleno in the mafia-run town of Burlone set in 1920’s Italy, Yang is also one of the leaders of a Chinese crime syndicate called the Lin Huang Hui. With an notorious reputation for brutality, the man is said to be more beast than human, with a tenable grasp on his soul. Detached from his own emotions, Yang is analytical and intelligent, but he operates almost solely on fulfilling his own impulses and desires. And while his fancies are transient, his purpose remains steady - he is an unapologetic criminal with a lacking moral compass who is firmly rooted in the present.

He grew up in what the canon says is Kowloon Walled City. It doesn’t make a lot of historical sense since how they describe it is more as it was in the 50’s to 70’s, but the gist is that he’s been involved in gangs since he was a child and grew up in the slums in Hong Kong. As for his involvement in Jigoku-cho as a new arrival, he’s just a random guy keeping a low profile and won’t be offering a lot of details about his criminal background unless it comes up naturally in conversation, focused mainly on trying to adapt to this new faction and world.

Initial Ideas:

CR Desires:

☆ While I have a lot of fun writing Yang, he can be an elusive character and doesn’t really process / understand emotions the same way ordinary people would. My best, terse summary is that he’s a cynical asshole who values actions over words and behaves accordingly. As he states in canon, he’s been alone all his life without a real family, so I’d love to expose him to new opportunities and expose him to new avenues of character development even if he’s in a criminal underworld that’s similar to his own lifetime of experiences.
☆ To summarize the above, looking for friendlier sources of CR ranging from drinking buddies, to coworkers (haven’t figured out what he’s going to do yet, but I figure he’ll dabble with odd jobs as a beginning), to roommates. The last one can be with any faction, since Yang is willing to bend rules, especially if he finds said roomie to be “interesting” enough.
☆ With that said, I’m v open to antagonistic / mixed CR with Yang as he’s not the easiest person to get along with. His primary motivator is to win and get his contract payment, so while he’s not making that very transparent to people esp outside of the Alliance, he is still very goal-motivated.

Brief Rundown: His deal is that he's the mad scientist good-guy-turned-bad but he's from his romance route so he's not the bad guy, after all. A Shinsengumi swordsman who once lost the use of his arm from an injury, he turned to a secret medicine to restore its use (and his self-worth, he hoped), which basically turned him into a glorified vampire/Demon Lite(tm). He's passive-aggressive and cutting when he's at his worst, playful and curious and warm when he's at his best. But he's usually somewhere nearer his worst. Sorry. He isn't afraid to pull a double-cross or to face death, destruction, or anything else you might want to throw at him.

Initial Ideas: I'm FRESH here so I don't have big plans yet. My hope is that he can settle in a little bit by gaining CR with other Enma folks and branch out from there. The substories (1, 3, and 4 for sure) look interesting (and hilarious), so I'll definitely be tackling those! He's curious as can be, so I doubt it'll take long for him to get into some business he shouldn't, but isn't that the beauty of being the megane?

Brief Rundown: The book pitch: There are GIANT MECHAS inspired by Chinese mythology that DEFEND HUMANITY from MONSTERS trying to invade them. Sounds like a crazy ride? Yeah, it is.

This guy doesn’t pilot the mechas though, his boyfriend and girlfriend do. Iron Widow also features the extremely satisfying resolution to the classic love triangle problem in YA novels: “fuck it, what if all three of them held hands”. Gao Yizhi is a rich young master whose type is exclusively bad boys and girls. His polycule partners are the most feared and hated mecha pilots on this stretch of the Great Wall, and they do absolutely murder people, but still Yizhi is there every step of the way to nurse them through any injuries - and also plant crime tools for them. Hooray for crime!

Initial Ideas: I’m hoping to tag into the Intro Mingle / Substories, which usually fills my plate right up unfortunately :,) I do have the following ideas but I’m not sure about actually executing them this month, so if you see something you’d like to thread out, let me know! It’ll encourage me to actually do the thing.

🌿 Yizhi would be turning his attention to Emily’s clinic more after last month. I’m open to threading out some kind of fellow-clinic-volunteer CR, if your character is also helping out there.
🌿 Yizhi just redeemed the power to shapeshift into cute little animals! He’ll be most likely encountered in the form of a white cat, exploring the city and getting free attention.

Brief Rundown: there's a lot to say about mima! she is a bubbly, talented entertainer trying to pivot out of idol and into an acting career, and she is having a bad time about it. as a result of her graduation, mima begins to suffer stalking, harassment, and is coerced into sexual exploitation by her agent in order to alter her public image. all of this takes a very heavy toll on her mental health. as mima's canon and mima herself both deal directly with sexual assault, stalking, violence, and psychosis, i have made my permissions post double as an opt-out if you would like to either not play with her or not engage with these subjects! it's screened, but i can unscreen comments on request! please don't hesitate to use it!

Initial Ideas: i have taken her from a pretty pivotal point in the film, just after her assault by her stalker and before the final chase sequence of the film. given all that she's been through, mima will likely be a little bit shellshocked and may take a little longer getting her feet under her. thankfully, she doesn't even fully know how bad things really are, so it's not as bad as it could have been!

i am very excited to have her in tamamo! i think once she settles in, starting fresh with a group of people who very likely have no idea who she is will be really really good for her, and i think being encouraged to live and express her own identity genuinely, with nobody acting as an intermediary and manipulating the way in which she is presented, will also do wonders! i'm super excited to dig into that and see how she does!

CR Desires: i'm keeping my mind as open as it can be! i'm down for just about any cr i can find! mima isn't shown to have many close friends in the film, so i always love watching those kinds of relationships develop in threads with her! she'll make for a pretty pathetic enemy, but i will also eat up negative cr with a spoon!

hi, ally! i'm agatha and i play aerith from final fantasy vii (remake) in game! mima is one of my all-time fave horror protagonists and i was sooo excited to see she's in tamamo, there's so much opportunity for her in that faction...

He did many really bad things and many good things and is currently figuring out how to better himself. He has an eidetic memory and a silver tongue. He is an excellent actor as well and happy to make new friends.

He is fresh from Hakagemachi and is sharing his body with celestial fox youkai, Koemi. She is a silly milf which just makes his own milf tendencies magnify. Expect if you are friends with him to be spoiled at least a little bit.

Canon: Pathologic 2.
Character Age: 28-29 years old.
Faction: Sutoku.
Brief Rundown: A guy that's built for murder but actually is a healer. (laughs) He has a great amount of sympathy for what he calls "miracles" -- these include the yokai and other non-human entities. A dude that is always trying to do what is best, but generally always rolls a NAT 1 so shit sucks a lot for him.

CR Desires:

Friends. More people that'll understand that the supernatural elements of the world cannot be defined as "good" or "evil." He does not view them as that; he honestly cares about them considerable amount despite the trauma that they put him through.

A very weird friend. It's very easy to get positive CR with Artemy. He seems incredibly chill at all times, and he generally is. He has his standards and morals that wander into the grey area for the most part, but he is fairly easy to get along with.

Negative CR. It's surprisingly easy to get negative CR with Artemy as much as it is to get positive CR. He says he doesn't judge people, but he can be incredibly judgemental of things that he considers "bad." For example, in canon, a city doctor says he does not want to help an ailing dog. Artemy thinks that the guy is calling the orphaned children "dogs" and gets REAL PISSED. It turns out that it was an actual dog. I will say that even if a person has negative CR with him that it's equally easy to get positive CR with him even in that state. He is honest when he says that he does not hold grudges; a person could try to kill him one day and if they're sincere about like "oh shit that was a mistake," he is like, "okei."

Anything else: He comes from endgame so there may be spoilers. There is a huge spoiler related to Artemy's entire existence, and that is incredibly rare to come up, so no worries there.

She's a massive troll that likes to tease people, but she's pretty kind over all. A bit violent at times, but nice!

Initial Ideas:
- Teaching people how to fight. Her magic is muted here, but she knows how to fist fight, and would love to teach people who don't know how to. She's a good teacher I promise (no she is not she will run you down and tease you till the end of days --). Maybe private classes for people in sutoku??

- I would love for her to use her special ops skill set at some point!! She specializes in contract killings, and spying/undercover work.

- Substory #2: She would provide good entertainment, and try and beat Mr. Libido up. Would love to have someone team up with her for the grab, while she throws this man out of the city.

- Substory #4: THIS SOUNDS SO CUTE. She loves festivals, and would be drinking/eating while she's collecting stardust for her Sutoku squad. She would love to have a buddy help her out, or someone to drink with.

CR Desires:
- Fellow militant buddies! She would love to meet more people who have military training. Maybe someone she can spar with while she's here?
- Teacher friends. She is a headmistress so conversing with her fellow instructors would be nice.

what else...! he's also swedish, he's grown up in sweden, and his japanese is a work in progress and he's still adapting to japanese things. speaks swedish, brit english and japanese. plays the guitar, too. has blue hair, a bunch of piercings, is adorable.
Initial Ideas: mmmmmmm he's in tamamo, so i would want him to do performances and do music. he's been in the band and going with it strong but being on his own is a different beast and i think he'd really enjoy it!!!

An advocate for committing crimes like: grave robbing, breaking and entering, theft, etc. Formerly part of a notorious bunch of bandits, one of the strongest in the Northern Country... and now just some Eastern chef who "definitely doesn't know anything about that, do you want some apple pie?"

Initial Ideas:

He'll reluctantly want to know the people in his clan and in the the others. Since he's brand new he'd really like to have a solid basis of people he knows, even if he doesn't really want to rely on them for much.

Probably poking around here and there, trying to get some part time jobs so he makes enough to fund a small restaurant with some weird rules (you cannot talk in the building, chit chat is BANNED). Why? Because he lived in the City of Rain and that was a rule there. If he cannot have it in the city, he will have it in his building.

CR Desires:

+Friends: Nero's not really standoffish, but he's a pretty okay friend. He'll bail you out until he loses his mind about it*. (*Talk to me about this, it'll take a long time to work up to it, but Nero only ever has so much patience with the people he cares about.)

+People to feed: Please. Please, let him feed you. This is an interaction that he actually knows. He's an excellent cook, you won't be disappointed.
