Just like the TDM set up, Jigokucho is in recovery mode after the dissipation of a curse that befell the city. It was a full-on horror apocalypse.

The curse is gone, there are rumors stirring that the turf war has ended, and the Kappa are all going back down to work on building… something. It’s all pretty hush-hush, but anyone that’s not in the Department can ask freely about it. The Enma has bigger things to be concerned with already anyway (namely the newly named cause of the curse: Haniyasu).

So what does that mean for the next two months? Well, between whatever it is being cooked up in the Underground and everything else, the theme of these two months is Tanabata! How that celebration takes shape in a place like Jigokucho will be revealed as the month goes on, so stay tuned to find out more!

i saw drinks and fights and ... i am here for this, even if mort may enjoy the latter a little too much. also as a being who is almost near immortal ... he might be able to commiserate to the idea of living a long life (which to him has been nothing but a curse of boringness lmao) and also... losing such abilities.... aka, instead of saving her from herself, maybe he joins in and they call it a night out
