Want to jump right in? This month's Substories are posted here!. As for what's been going on...

Just like the TDM set up, Jigokucho is in recovery mode after the dissipation of a curse that befell the city. It was a full-on horror apocalypse.

The curse is gone, there are rumors stirring that the turf war has ended, and the Kappa are all going back down to work on building… something. It’s all pretty hush-hush, but anyone that’s not in the Department can ask freely about it. The Enma has bigger things to be concerned with already anyway (namely the newly named cause of the curse: Haniyasu).

So what does that mean for the next two months? Well, between whatever it is being cooked up in the Underground and everything else, the theme of these two months is Tanabata! How that celebration takes shape in a place like Jigokucho will be revealed as the month goes on, so stay tuned to find out more!

Character Name: Heng Yue

Brief Rundown:

Heng Yue was a driven young medical studies pioneer! She put herself through school with money from a modeling career. She's from a rich and prominent family but chooses to do things for herself. She has been blessed with the divine power of Chang'e, and is now considered an Esper. This is the source of her bunny looks and the moon that floats around behind her all the time. She joined the Esper Union because they were interested in funding her research: she's working in pharmacology to provide affordable medicine to everyone who needs it.

All of her accomplishments have been attributed to either her parents or Chang'e and this pisses Yue off to no end. She's quite cold, commanding, and intimidating but if you're not actively interfering with her work or annoying her, she can be more of a big sister.

Initial Ideas:

🐰 This is a new character for me, so I'm not 100% on what kinds of people she gets on with best yet! Let's try out some different things and see what's good, tbqh.
