Just like the TDM set up, Jigokucho is in recovery mode after the dissipation of a curse that befell the city. It was a full-on horror apocalypse.

The curse is gone, there are rumors stirring that the turf war has ended, and the Kappa are all going back down to work on building… something. It’s all pretty hush-hush, but anyone that’s not in the Department can ask freely about it. The Enma has bigger things to be concerned with already anyway (namely the newly named cause of the curse: Haniyasu).

So what does that mean for the next two months? Well, between whatever it is being cooked up in the Underground and everything else, the theme of these two months is Tanabata! How that celebration takes shape in a place like Jigokucho will be revealed as the month goes on, so stay tuned to find out more!

i love all this please. no idea when or how it would ever come up but aerith states she feels like she's lost in a maze and losing parts of herself through out the whole experience because of specific ghosts in remake, so this is definitely something that would resonate with her, i think. but also artemy...........

i'll pass that along to him actually!! i think he finished one route recently, hopefully i'm not too late to it lol
