Just like the TDM set up, Jigokucho is in recovery mode after the dissipation of a curse that befell the city. It was a full-on horror apocalypse.

The curse is gone, there are rumors stirring that the turf war has ended, and the Kappa are all going back down to work on building… something. It’s all pretty hush-hush, but anyone that’s not in the Department can ask freely about it. The Enma has bigger things to be concerned with already anyway (namely the newly named cause of the curse: Haniyasu).

So what does that mean for the next two months? Well, between whatever it is being cooked up in the Underground and everything else, the theme of these two months is Tanabata! How that celebration takes shape in a place like Jigokucho will be revealed as the month goes on, so stay tuned to find out more!

helloooo, i am wholly canonblind but I'm down, shealtiel sounds really interesting! mikotoba is from a normal ass world the spirit channeling happens later so lmao the confusion of finding out this young guy he's mentoring is an angel would super throw him. no time like the present to figure out the supernatural, dad!!!

I hope shealtiel can do things like call children "unripe humans" and mikotoba starts by just being like wow kids have such strange slang these days!!! that's my goal. to ruin his impression of the current generation. GFSDMLG but really I'd love for him to find out at some point, too! we can see how it goes c:
