Just like the TDM set up, Jigokucho is in recovery mode after the dissipation of a curse that befell the city. It was a full-on horror apocalypse.

The curse is gone, there are rumors stirring that the turf war has ended, and the Kappa are all going back down to work on building… something. It’s all pretty hush-hush, but anyone that’s not in the Department can ask freely about it. The Enma has bigger things to be concerned with already anyway (namely the newly named cause of the curse: Haniyasu).

So what does that mean for the next two months? Well, between whatever it is being cooked up in the Underground and everything else, the theme of these two months is Tanabata! How that celebration takes shape in a place like Jigokucho will be revealed as the month goes on, so stay tuned to find out more!

yeah i need more emily CR, emily being the judging friend to cloud's extremely strange life (while also like, actually being a medical professional who could probably help him on the side even as he's actively seeing other professionals) is perfectly fun. We missed each other during June but I wanna make up for that!

All of the immediate stuff with Emily seems fun to me so if any of these are things you want to rope Cloud into, be my guest.

she's good for being the sensible voice of reason that will actually just tell you to not die when you do something stupid, as it works out. for something more lighthearted though, i'm totally up for cloud catching her at her side job or something, break that illusion that she's all work and no play!

Oh that sounds fantastic. Cloud wandering in to see Emily doing a music performance sounds really fun. Definitely sign me up for that.

Maybe she can learn that Cloud is actually a pretty good dancer in the bargin - even if he's loathe to admit it.
