Just like the TDM set up, Jigokucho is in recovery mode after the dissipation of a curse that befell the city. It was a full-on horror apocalypse.

The curse is gone, there are rumors stirring that the turf war has ended, and the Kappa are all going back down to work on building… something. It’s all pretty hush-hush, but anyone that’s not in the Department can ask freely about it. The Enma has bigger things to be concerned with already anyway (namely the newly named cause of the curse: Haniyasu).

So what does that mean for the next two months? Well, between whatever it is being cooked up in the Underground and everything else, the theme of these two months is Tanabata! How that celebration takes shape in a place like Jigokucho will be revealed as the month goes on, so stay tuned to find out more!

I DO SAY!!! He just made lemonade with the lemons and by lemonade I mean a serum that turned him pseudo-demon and by lemons I mean demon blood and also being ignored and tossed aside by his peers. You know how it be.

Jaika went AWOL from the Jedi order because he felt like they were more interested in preserving the status quo than they were in actually helping people, which led to a fateful duel with his sister, which led to a hyperdrive exploding in his face.

Now not only does the order not trust him anymore, but he's blinded for life. He copes with the sheer awfulness of it all by constantly making terrible jokes about it to hide the furnace of indignant rage that resides in his heart.

They are going to potentially butt heads on "whys" but Sannan also pretty much left his place in the Shinsengumi over some decisions he disagreed with, went very rogue with his personal soldiers, and... Well okay that's the semi-villain arc but. He's actually doing it for a reason. And the status quo is not it!
