Tell us about yourself: Very sleepy, very passionate about lore and fandom. My main nerdy interests involve gacha games (Genshin, Arknights, Fate, Alchemy Stars, etc), otomes, webtoons and various manga like Jujitsu Kaisen and Blue Period. As far as rp goes — I’m still getting into my groove as it’s been years since I’ve done journal rp. Brief Rundown:

The boss of his gang, the Lao Shu, who currently presides over the migrant neighborhood of Veleno in the mafia-run town of Burlone set in 1920’s Italy, Yang is also one of the leaders of a Chinese crime syndicate called the Lin Huang Hui. With an notorious reputation for brutality, the man is said to be more beast than human, with a tenable grasp on his soul. Detached from his own emotions, Yang is analytical and intelligent, but he operates almost solely on fulfilling his own impulses and desires. And while his fancies are transient, his purpose remains steady - he is an unapologetic criminal with a lacking moral compass who is firmly rooted in the present.

He grew up in what the canon says is Kowloon Walled City. It doesn’t make a lot of historical sense since how they describe it is more as it was in the 50’s to 70’s, but the gist is that he’s been involved in gangs since he was a child and grew up in the slums in Hong Kong. As for his involvement in Jigoku-cho as a new arrival, he’s just a random guy keeping a low profile and won’t be offering a lot of details about his criminal background unless it comes up naturally in conversation, focused mainly on trying to adapt to this new faction and world.

Initial Ideas:

☆ Let's do some fun teamwork missions with Jigokucho’s Mr. Libido and It’s Very Time Consuming!
☆ Any Sutokus! For now, Yang is just here to enable anyone’s best / worst ideas. Since they’re allies and are on equal or, in his case, lower footing, Yang will be a lot more useful than he normally is
☆ Yang will be either collecting Stardust with a Sutoku pal, protecting their own stash, or trying to do something underhanded to procure the magical fragments from another factions.

CR Desires:

☆ While I have a lot of fun writing Yang, he can be an elusive character and doesn’t really process / understand emotions the same way ordinary people would. My best, terse summary is that he’s a cynical asshole who values actions over words and behaves accordingly. As he states in canon, he’s been alone all his life without a real family, so I’d love to expose him to new opportunities and expose him to new avenues of character development even if he’s in a criminal underworld that’s similar to his own lifetime of experiences.
☆ To summarize the above, looking for friendlier sources of CR ranging from drinking buddies, to coworkers (haven’t figured out what he’s going to do yet, but I figure he’ll dabble with odd jobs as a beginning), to roommates. The last one can be with any faction, since Yang is willing to bend rules, especially if he finds said roomie to be “interesting” enough.
☆ With that said, I’m v open to antagonistic / mixed CR with Yang as he’s not the easiest person to get along with. His primary motivator is to win and get his contract payment, so while he’s not making that very transparent to people esp outside of the Alliance, he is still very goal-motivated.
☆ People to help him figure out technology… I think there’s cute moments to be had bc Yang is avoiding it like the old man he is.
☆ Can definitely do smut, M/M and M/F with partners 18+, though I do prefer 20+. He can be flirtatious and forward but it has to be the right mood or setting for him to lay it on thick. One night stands, friends with benefits, lovers, etc — it’s all good with me.
