Want to jump right in? This month's Substories are posted here!. As for what's been going on...

Just like the TDM set up, Jigokucho is in recovery mode after the dissipation of a curse that befell the city. It was a full-on horror apocalypse.

The curse is gone, there are rumors stirring that the turf war has ended, and the Kappa are all going back down to work on building… something. It’s all pretty hush-hush, but anyone that’s not in the Department can ask freely about it. The Enma has bigger things to be concerned with already anyway (namely the newly named cause of the curse: Haniyasu).

So what does that mean for the next two months? Well, between whatever it is being cooked up in the Underground and everything else, the theme of these two months is Tanabata! How that celebration takes shape in a place like Jigokucho will be revealed as the month goes on, so stay tuned to find out more!

Brief Rundown: Kim Kitsuragi is a 43-year old police detective who invests a great deal in maintaining his image as an aggressively ordinary and professional man. He has no special powers or secret identities to maintain! He's just Like That -- so tightly wound it's a miracle he hasn't snapped yet, keeping every aspect of his life regimented and controlled and uncomfortable with blatant showings of emotion. It's a lonely way to live.

Underneath it all is a person who would secretly like to go just a little batshit, as a treat. He has a seemingly infinite well of patience, a cool head, a tendency to write everything down, an incredibly dry sense of humour, a protective streak and a tendency to lecture that he's actively trying to curb. He's wildly passionate about his secret hobbies (cars, loud terrible music, big machines that make big noises, board games, going really, really fast) and has a poorly concealed competitive streak. He's also just kind of a weirdo! His permissions post has a little more detail about his appearance & demeanor, so check that out if you'd like to know more.

Initial Ideas: After the whole blood rain ordeal, Kim is taking some time to recuperate! Some possible plot hooks are:
- He works at the local 7/11 for all your midnight beer, cigarette, snack and condom runs
- He'll also just be general out for some midnight strolls after an affliction of nightmares post-blood rain
- He's going to start working part-time at a local tailor
- He volunteers at the clinic, for anyone suffering from injuries
- Recently gained one star for all Sutoku shenanigans!
- Come see his very fast, obnoxious car as he tries to fix it up after it got beat up during the event... maybe make some modification suggestions?
- General slice of life stuff -- grocery shopping, clothes shopping, staring covetuously at board games in the window of a hobby shop, grabbing some lunch, meet him at the gay bar, etc etc
- On the plottier side, he's very curious about learning more about JGK's yokai community, making connections, figuring out what the hell happened last month and looking into the wastelands that surround the city
- I will be participating in all substories, if you're interested in that!
- For extant CR: He will be subtly checking up on everyone after TraumaFest!

Character Name: Minato "Minakami" Suizenji
Canon: Hashihime of the Old Book Town
Character Age: 22 (literally had his birthday pass ingame, RIP)
Faction: Shuten
Brief Rundown: Minato is from 1920's Japan, and the focal point of the murder mystery in his canon -- he's a mild-mannered bookworm who exudes Just Some Guy energy, which is an impressive feat from someone who inherited spiritual powers from a yokai that was passed down through his family for generations, and lost said powers jumping through time to save someone. He also remembers his myriad past lives, at least one of which was as a samurai from which he inherited his combat abilities. It's a whole thing. He is just a normal university student come closer.

Initial Ideas:

- As of this point, some of the Just Some Guy facade has cracked, but he's going to pretend it hasn't. He's also actively hiding from the goddamn Sutoku reporters chasing soundbites about the tower mission, because he will not be perceived thank u.
OOCly, him hiding translates into me taking it easy this month. That said:

- Substories: tanabata............. real.................
Besides actually having fun for once with the festival (he's a little baffled that it's being held this month instead of August like he's used to) (Actually, speaking of festival dates, I'm pretty sure it'd be Bon this month where he's from, so he's gonna be homesick about that,,,), it's also very on-brand for Minato to fall afoul of a haunted watch when earnestly trying to find its actual owner.
His flat burned down along with some other Shuten apartments during curse month though he has been living with Tama this whole time instead so him and his friends are looking for a new apartment. I imagine it won't be hard to work in the cursed watch or naked dancer substories into IKEA/househunting/moving stuff??

- Canonmate stuff: His buddy Eiichi Segawa (a.k.a. Kawase) has shown up in hell. I might make another open substory duo-log with the two of them because they have a lifelong It's Complicated that is. going to be worked out. somehow. and it's going to be everyone's problem. I'm Sorry.

- Following up on Kaigou no Bou: Minato has the camera recordings of the tower mission. He doesn't know what to do with them, but the glimpse of the "mastermind" (supposedly Haniyasu according to the Enma's public statement) is too important not to do something about. There's the linked plotting post about the efforts to clean up the footage (Minato is merely a Taisho-era country mouse, what is modern tech), but it's not just open to techies; any Lost Soul who has a vested interest in wanting to see and analyze the footage should have an easy time finding him, since the tower team's identities are on public record. This is an investigation that's on a slow cooker, so no hurry. This will get folded into a catchall log post.

- Player-run business: This is also a slow cooker thing (probably like, August depending on what the game plot looks like?), but given Shuten spearheading the reconstruction efforts in the tdm, I'm thinking of having Minato find an izakaya that got completely trashed during the curse month, and when using his rank influence to help get it back up and running, kinda... inadvertently takes it over. This is partly a way to justify him getting any future ranks at all given he's not very yakuza...y, and partly an interest check to see who's interested in getting a sake bar off the ground. (technically he should only employ other shutens but. what does he look like. some kind of narc.)
also I do not know how to name businesses when it isn't a bad pun so I am open to suggestions.

Initial Ideas: i'm a go with the flow sort of RPer. megumi will just be catching up with CR and making new friends. he works at a bookshop and volunteers at emily's clinic. i have plans for him to work at aerith's flower shop as well

Substory #3 - up for this also!! we can string together a long series of misfortune for our characters. or megumi can help your character through their misfortune ...
Substory #4 - this is the one I'm most interested in. i'm up for him working together with other sutoku characters, or having a bit of competition with people from other factions. also interested in letting megumi let loose a little with the effects ... maybe some fighting, drinking (for the first time...) and dancing! maybe he will smile for once, who knows.

Brief Rundown: 1920s twink ends up with two boyfriends who are both in Shuten enma take the wheel after timelooping several times over to prevent their deaths. Also, they're all terrible people with mental health issues and trauma! It's on steam! If you don't have the dosh I will literally buy it for you!!!

Initial Ideas: well he's been having a grand old time of things since the TDM which has caused...some incidents to occur, but OUTSIDE of all that:
- he's going to remain in EMBER, despite his low star ranking and his very uncharitable title, but he is going to be adding other people in to the pool if he can get his hands on their phone. feel free to use tama as an excuse to get your character on EMBER if they'd not ICly do it themselves!!
- he instantly fears mr. libido and probably is going to have to shoo him away from hiding behind the cafe he works at while the man runs from his pursuers. he does not handle raunchy things well, this will only cause more problems.
- ngl i almost asked the mods "what would happen if you ate the watch" as a joke but i was afraid i'd get a real answer? anyway i might do watch prompt bs also just because his luck is poor and he's an idiot. foist it off on him for his birthday, it'll go about as well as usual.
-...listen, he may or may not try to drink the tanabata dust in the hopes it would make a cute drink topping for his work. otherwise, he's going to be gaying it up with his mans (once he's done having an extended standoff with said mans)
-ICLY AT SOME POINT THIS MONTH idk when given...gestures at castmate drama, but the hashi lads are going to be moving in to an apartment together, apparently in shuten territory given two of them are in that faction now.

CR Desires: Tama has weird eye possession/curse stuff! Timetraveler stuff! He's a writer, mostly! He has a hallucinatory imaginary frog friend who kind of just appears and disappears at will! He's kind of an illusionist but with real bad mental health about it! Also he's short as hell given the average height of lost souls is like 5'6"!

What I'm saying is, I will take any and all CR if you're willing to put up with Tama. He's an oddball who writes six paragraphs in his text responses to people and has introduced several people to kaomoji despite not knowing what headphones were.

Brief Rundown: Izuku is the main protagonist of the show, a boy born without a quirk or meta ability in a society where most people are born with them. He is later granted a quirk by his idol and mentor All Might and manages to make it into Hero School to become the best hero that ever was. He's friendly, smart, determined, focused and bright! But he can also be a nervous wreck, overly reckless and prone to mumbling. He's just a soft nerd, please be his friend and let him talk about nerdy things and bully him.

Initial Ideas:

🥦 Substory #2: Izuku will do his best to stop this tighty-whitey clad menace from harassing people! He'll probably try to do some classic hero tactics and get him safely apprehended. But a wild chase through the streets after a naked guy might be hilarious.
🥦 Substory #4: He will have some interest in collecting stardust! It seems like a nice thing to do and if he collects too much he might end up with more feelings of joy which will make his quirk Float activate and make him start floating around in the sky. Or he'll indulge in his favourite things like talking about heroes or his favourite people...
🥦 Izuku will happily participate in Tanabata! He might try to get a festival yukata and make some wishes.
🥦 It is Izuku's birthday on July 15th and he'll be turning seventeen! He has no plans and doesn't really want to make a fuss about it.

Brief Rundown: Nazuna is a spirited, expressive person who has disappointed a lot of people in his life due to his personality not really matching his cute exterior. Because of that he developed a complex about his looks and became quite gloomy and quiet. Going to the idol training academy Yumenosaki, he formed the unit Valkyrie with one of the eccentrics in his class. But when the school went to war, Valkyrie and it's members were among those that were crushed and made an example of within the new grading system. Following which he ended up joining a brand new unit, looking after three first years just starting out and causing a rift between him and his former unitmates.

Formerly considering himself to be a doll without a will of it's own, Nazuna has come a long way. He still has a habit of not realizing when his words can be unintentionally hurtful or overly harsh and can be rash and abrasive at times-- but he cares deeply for people, which is what tends to cause those feelings to become so difficult. His ideal self image is that of a cool older brother-- although he's the shortest, even among those several years younger than him. He used to have a terrible habit of slurring his words when he gets excited due to all the time he spent in silence before. It still acts up at times when he gets nervous, especially around people he doesn't know as well but he's finally healing from his past as well as continuing to mend and rebuild the bonds that were damaged in the process. But he's also the hard-working type that often pushes himself harder than he probably should and still has issues openly communicating certain things-- particularly his own feelings. But he's dedicated to the path he's on, trying bit by bit to become a human that can smile, hoping that Valkyrie will see that and be able to do the same for themselves.

Initial Ideas: I'm brand new here so I'm looking to get settled in before I go too big. But that also leaves a blank slate for anything and everything, so I will welcome it all.

CR Desires: This is also open to everything-- friends, enemies, It's Complicated types, lovers-- all of it. But more specifically if you need a (little) big brother type or a mom friend, that's him he's got you covered. Neighbors or roommates are also welcome. I have nothing set in mind so there's room for anything and everything.

Brief Rundown: Haru is a very pink and fluffy sweet-tempered rich girl who can be kind of an airhead, can break a computer without even really trying, has her own axe for chopping her own firewood as a form of stress relief, loves gardening, wants to open a cafe chain one day to serve homegrown comfort food to people, and is actually very very scary when you make her mad or she's just having a good time being violent at monsters for catharsis. Also she's a Phantom Thief. It's fine.

Initial Ideas: I think substories #2 and #3 could be interesting, but I do definitely want to ease Haru into the game and get her to settle properly into her faction (which is Shuten, which is personally really funny to me). Just kind of getting established and getting a foothold into things, more or less!

CR Desires: This probably gets said a lot, but. Everything? Haru has very few friends, could definitely do with more, could benefit by having more Less Terrible Adults in her life, she is an 18-year-old orphan now so definitely here for adults she can look up to or fellow teens she can relax around, be less of a formal rich girl with, etc. She's not interested in things like one-night stands, she's in it for Romance. Please also Shuten people. And cross-faction CR. And people who like gardening. Let her bond with everyone. Or try to, anyway.

Brief Rundown: Izō is a CRAU from slumscape. He's got pointed ear tips, sharp fangs, claws, crow legs from the knees down, and big black wings. He is the Okada Izō, one of the four great hitokiri of the Bakumatsu period, who is also possessed by a tengu. He's an abrasive, violent jerk, but he has his moments.

Current Plans: Izō just opened a dog shelter in Shuten territory called Shelter Number Wan and will be looking for volunteers to help him run the place.
CR Desires: Anything! He's pretty easy to get negative CR with and it takes a certain kind of person to deal with his nonsense. He's also generally DTF, so long as you're cool with a monster boy.

I'd actually been eyeing this game before launch, since I love youkai-- so much that if they play heavily into events, my otherwise empty plurk might start filling up with scribbles of them...
I'm in EST, but considering it's 1am right now, time isn't reliable. Between work, family stuff, dnd, and having fallen back into the hell that is Sims lately, I'm really on the slow side, but I'm hoping my writing pace will get a chance to pick back up soon.
Pretty obviously into JJK, with my other main fandoms being Zero Escape, Pokemon, and a bit of progress made into BNHA. Always up for chatting about any of those!


Character Name: Mahito
Canon: Jujutsu Kaisen
Character Age: roughly 5 months, but visually and mentally an adult.
Faction: Enma
Brief Rundown:
Super short version, a child shoved into the role of a leader over his willingness to sacrifice everything in order for his kind to no longer be killed just for who they are.

Accurate version, a cursed spirit, a physical manifestation of negative human emotions that kills just on instinct. In his own case, he's born of the fear and hate felt towards other humans, so holds a really strong obsession with them, both wanting to learn as much as he can about his "origin", and constantly feeling that same hatred of them that made him exist. Those combined into something along the lines of "why not kill every human but keep their society by taking their place", and there's your main villain for the first arc of the series.

A certain main character taught him fighting and killing can be extremely fun, so he's caused a ton of problems acting out on that discovery. Thanks, Itadori. That all said, he's not usually too combative. When it's not time to act, Mahito's fairly peaceful, and gets along decently with anyone willing to discuss philosophical topics, or help him understand the point of things he's read or watched. With non-humans, he won't harbour that base hatred at all, so even becoming close friends is possible. He just doesn't form attachments, meaning the real risk in hanging around him is never knowing when he might betray on a whim.

Initial Ideas: SO UH to start, I'm probably going to keep picking at TDM threads for a little longer and wait for the event post! This ties more into CR than plot ideas, but what I really want to do is use this short period where his cast is unaware of his arrival to get some "positive" CR going.

Settle into her living quarters, settle in to how to get money, figure out what qualifies as doing a job here, and establish connections with people who seem like they know what they're doing. She's not at all immediately ambitious when she's still getting her feet under her. At least she's in the fighty faction, so that's basically her job? From before? Just without a giant robot, help pls?

Chris will probably go looking for stardust at least, as that sounds like a relatively easy way to get herself some brownie points right up until she meets a pretty girl around her age and realizes that it's jazzing up her desires. Whoops.

CR Desires: Honestly everything's good. This girl desperately needs friends, including fellow fucked up child soldiers, positive influence adults, people she can get into dumb arguments with, and frankly even though she has a gf and kind of another one back home, that stuff is not at all off the table. Brief Rundown: dosei is an abrasive, sullen little flesh puppet with a pair of sewn lips who has hobbies such as picking pockets and kicking people in the shins. easily frustrated due to his inability to speak, he communicates solely through his phone or gestures, and is keen to pick fights if you come across as slighting him in any way. that being said, he is CRAU from slumscape, and has such come to a point he's wisened up to a certain degree. he's much like picking up a stray cat- it may scratch you and try to take your eyes out, but feed give it enough iced tea and eventually you won't be able to get rid of it.

he's also regrettably still possessed by a catty jorogumo by the name of yome. she likes dirty jokes, human flesh, and long walks on the beach.

Initial Ideas: this is already a bit pleasant jump from hagakemachi in his opinion, so for the first time being, he'll be bouncing around gathering his bearings and probably testing the waters. unfortunately, this being a very not-abandoned city, he's more liable to get in trouble for doing things than he wouldn't have back then. he's not thrilled about the idea of being somebody's lackey, but considering the reward he's being promised, he'll likely be going around doing his newfound job without as much of a fuss. he'll also likely be shoving his hands around the entirety of tamamo area just to sate his burning curiosity. definitely far more luxurious than anything he's ever been used to.

CR Desires:
● he is far more capable of making friends than he was before, it's just a matter of finding people who mesh well with his chaotic tendencies and somewhat hairtrigger temper. fellow shorties/immortals (under 5 feet gang), fellow agents of chaos, generally people who can brush off his rudeness and crudeness or throw it back enough to the point he respects it.
● dosei is unfortunately someone who requires a bit of supervision, because while yome is willing to do it now, she's just as bad as him at times and won't stop him from generally committing petty theft and minor acts of arson or otherwise accidentally burning some bridges. has very intense annoying brother energy, but he's easily bribed if you know how to do it. he's been denied a lot of good things in life, so he'll take what you give him pretty easily (and won't give it back).
● negative CR is tasty. dosei is, naturally, very rude and is very unrepentant about it. it wouldn't be out there to assume he's end up making a lot of enemies, especially in this kind of setting. it's a very thin line between people he'll listen to and and people he won't, and if you're the latter, he's more likely to stomp on your foot and flip you off before making for the hills than bothering to heed your words. just watch your fingers near his mouth- he bites, and those teeth are sharp.

Brief Rundown:

I'm going to assume most people here know, at a baseline, who Cloud Strife might be, but as a quick rundown: The blonde-haired big-sword-wielding protagonist of Final Fantasy VII is a mess of neuroses, self-delusions, and other fun mental party tricks, all while putting up the facade of a cool hero guy. Usually cynical and stern and a bit of a dick, Cloud comes from the near-end of Final Fantasy VII: Remake. Which means his facade of indifference and scorn isn't quite as ironclad as in OG, and in-game events have mellowed him out a bit, even if he's still got a list of psychological problems that are a mile long.

Cloud is going to be spending most of this month (and... probably next) on the mend. As part of the Kaigo no Bou infiltration, Cloud gambled his life to strike at the heart of the curse, and were it not for some careful preparations and the tiniest sliver of luck, he may have died. As a result, he's going to be not very physically active this month where he can get away with it, and flexing his brand-new promotion within Sutoku to try and continue to do what he can while his ribs heal and he stops feeling like his insides are on fire when he moves too much and too quickly.

Initial Ideas:

As stated, Cloud's going to be taking it easy... physically. He's still going to be getting into people's business as he can.

Next on Cloud's agenda for regains (since recovering future mako enhancements and his Buster Sword don't feel right when he's technically on the mend) is going to be his sick-ass motorcycle from the end of Remake: The Hardy-Daytona! A beast of a machine, it'll also let Cloud go around helping people ferry stuff to-and-fro as his usual sidequest-itis makes itself known.

Character-wise, the wall Cloud's put up inside himself has started to fracture a little - there's more than a few people who know something is off with Cloud, and he himself is aware there's a large chunk of something missing that he can't put together. If you want to poke at this, feel free! He may be cagey or not, depending on who does it - established CR will have an easier in, but if there's some kindred spirits, he might yet open up.

He's also working with Minakami to handle some of the legwork with regards to the footage - mostly making sure his half of the Kaigo no Bou expedition is part of the footage, and possibly helping get the footage to the Kappa after everyone who's tried their hand at cleaning it up has gotten a chance to do so, and see what their tech-edge can produce. This is slow-burn, so please don't feel the need to tap at this right away!

As far as Substories, Tanabata/Stardust-gathering will be my main focus for the month! As a 1-star on Sutoku's faction ladder, he does have some responsibilities and will likely be involved in helping with that in his own way. It also means that some of Cloud's CR has the chance to get messy, which I'm always for. Please feel free to tell me what you want here and we'll try and work it out!

CR Desires: I love getting all sorts of CR, and oftentimes I don't set out to get a 'specific' CR so much as I let the interactions play out. I'm pretty much up for anything people are looking for from Cloud, though some of it might be harder than others.

Initial Ideas: Eiichi has arrived in hell to make Minato and Tama's lives miserable! He's already partially succeeded! But since Minato's apartment burned down and two of them are now in Shuten, they're gonna have to find another place to live and moving stuff. He hates sweating so he will simply make someone else do the heavy lifting (please save Mina from his terrible fate).

He was also medical student back home, so he's going to try and continue learning even though he's been pulled away from his university classes. I accidentally had like three threads on the TDM be him nagging people that were sick or injured so uh. The fussy busybody side of himself has already been revealed.

On the other hand, he's severely germaphobic, and this city is much more industrialized and tightly packed than he's used to, so he's going to be extremely grumpy adjusting to that and trying to figure out how to deal with it. Initial Ideas: Her immediate priority will be to ingratiate herself with her faction, gain a good reputation, and grow in social standing. She needs leverage. Also she wants her bending back. (And having a concrete goal is... helpful.)

It's probably the most civil and cooperative you'll ever see Azula being. Expect her to be very willing to work with people and helpful within faction, and even open to work across-faction if she thinks it will benefit her social standings, or benefit the Enma and thus reflect well on her. If you can persuade her it's in her best interest, she'll probably do it. If you can't persuade her but want to try anyway... well, hey, the fallout will be hi-larious.

(Do NOT expect her to actually be easy to get along with on a personal level, because she will not do so reliably. Let's not ask for miracles here.)

Regarding Substories: This Stardust nonsense sounds like a very good way for a newcomer who doesn't yet have her firebending back to please her new employers. As such, she'll be collecting and turning in all the stuff she can get her hands on.

CR Desires: I'm down with basically anything! Azula isn't, but who cares what she wants?

Azula is not good at people, except in a purely manipulative sense. Initial Ideas: Lumine's not really keen on raising her reputation as she's more interested in staying comfortably and possibly figuring out why she's here in the first place. So, she'll be up for doing work almost right away that would pay handsomely, especially since she's a chaotic neutral-type of person, while exploring the city on her terms.

Brief Rundown: Mion is the heir of the Sonozaki family, which back home is basically a yakuza group that runs the small village that she lives in. She even has the back tattoos to prove it. She also runs a games club where all games have stakes and you gotta play to win. In terms of personality, Mion is pretty high energy and tends to act rather playful, but she's actually pretty intelligent and cares about those who she becomes real close friends with and will do a lot to protect them.

Initial Ideas:

Hilariously enough - Mion's birthday is on July 10th and it'll be the first time in a while that she's basically celebrated without her twin sister. She might be making jokes about that and trying to get some free stuff out of it. Turning twenty means that she's finally an adult officially by Japan standards (not that it matters when you're in Hell) so she wants to at least have some fun.

In terms of the substories, I'll most likely be tagging out for those this month, but I'm especially interested in Swipe Left... Again? and Mr. Libido - the latter being really comedic because Mion unfortunately makes a lot of crude jokes like a dirty old man, I'm so sorry about her.

But feel free to play out things besides what's mentioned above, I'm pretty open to a lot of things, really.

CR Desires: Since she's new, I would definitely like Mion to get some friends and acquaintances--either from her own clan or even other clans. She's rather sociable, and is willing to talk to all types, regardless of whether they're shy or not. And even though she's rather energetic, she does know when to cool it and is actually rather perceptive. She's dealt with a lot of dark things but generally tries to play herself as light-hearted. She was the only living person in a tiny world that has no future and whenever the game is turned off, she gets trapped in a hellish void! Well, her three friends were alive too but since they weren't self-aware...

She's obsessed with two things: becoming real and finding love. To those ends, she did some monstrous things, like manipulating her friends and messing with their heads in horrible ways, only to delete them. She's not evil but she's extremely desperate. And she really regrets what she did. Being trapped in her game is what she considers a fate worse than death. Love is a mean of escapism for her, in the end she wants to be real and free- No matter the cost.

And guess what her contract is all about?

Initial Ideas:

Monika is going to focus on two things: settling in and making herself useful if not indispensable. Her contract is going to become something of an obsession because becoming real and no longer being a video game character is already her obsession. To that end, she's going to work really hard.

That means anything not related to the contract is going to be low priority. But she'll still help and do stuff even if not related, of course. Deep down she's still a good person. She just wants to become a real person.

CR Desires:

- I want all the CR! Friends, enemies, co-workers, whatnot! Monika is somewhere in the middle on the extrovert-introvert scale, so she's pretty social but not overly so. She's trying very hard to make sure people like her. But she can also be very opinionated so that can lead to negative CR.

- She's not going to open up about her past just yet, unless a conversation leads into it. But characters who are specialized in AIs, fellow sentient programs and the likes would be fun to interact with.

- As far as shipping is concerned, I don't like planning stuff too much. I prefer to let characters interact, see how things develop naturally and take it from there. Monika though? She's mentally making a list of all her romance routes in this wonderful world.

Robin dropped everything and immediately traveled to Japan, where he'd end up not only encountering his twin brother but would also exchange his mortal life for one that embraces darkness and eternity. He is the first member to join Ange Yuki in the vocal unit O★Z, whose name is an allusion to "The Wizard of OZ".

Robin loves sweets, his brother, and his favorite color is 'innocent yellow'. In one episode, he is transformed into a bunny boy. The anime itself is pretty freaking ridiculous and the music is incredible (Elements Garden btw).

Initial Ideas: He'll definitely enjoy the festivities of tanbata, especially after the cursed blood rain and all that nonsense. The one thing that Robin saw a lot in his delusions was his twin brother, so he may be a little more melancholy and wistful than his normally cheery self. Other than that, Robin will also be collecting as much of that Stardust as he can, though he won't be consuming or selling it. He won't be lured in with the idea of using it at the moment, especially because he recently regained some of his vampire power and would love nothing more than to play around with it (what is it--- it's a surprise). Catch him in the bars and clubs of Tamamo, though he only works in one at the moment and would like to keep it that way!

CR Desires: Robin continues to need friends of all kinds. He's not someone who will be turned off by initially rude or mean-spirited people and will earnestly try to find the best in them! However, he's not without his limits--- he hasn't reached them here YET--- but he will defend those he loves to the death and is a lot more powerful than he probably seems?

He's a vampire, so. He'll naturally find some kinship with non-humans. Robin's a singer and loves music of all kinds. Finally, he really loves family... those who have siblings, especially twins? He wants to hear about them. He misses his own a lot.

Brief Rundown: Sholmes is his canon’s version of that famous fictional detective with his name jumbled around for localization purposes. He gives off the impression of being goofy, somewhat obnoxious, and wildly eccentric — none of which are completely inaccurate, though beneath the performative surface is a brilliant mind that rarely pulls the curtain back to reveal all that he’s thinking. He is always looking for a mystery to solve, or something to keep his mind stimulated; there is nothing that puts him in a sulkier mood than inactivity and boredom. Generally just exudes himbo vibes until he doesn’t. Enjoys the violin, caramel chocolates, disguises, questionable chemical experiments, and sometimes eating soap.

Initial Ideas: Sholmes is basically tailor-made for investigating the goings-on within the city, so I would like a chance to lean into that more. The whole debacle with last month’s event is a good jumping-off point for any other characters hoping to stick their noses further into that mess. Alternately, whatever big plot event on the horizon is fair game, as well. I may try to submit for a rank-up in his faction if I can scramble enough points together for it this month.

Other than that, I don’t have any major plans beyond expanding his CR. I will likely focus on tagging out for the substories, too, so please do not hesitate to reach out if you wanna do a thing!
