Just like the TDM set up, Jigokucho is in recovery mode after the dissipation of a curse that befell the city. It was a full-on horror apocalypse.

The curse is gone, there are rumors stirring that the turf war has ended, and the Kappa are all going back down to work on building… something. It’s all pretty hush-hush, but anyone that’s not in the Department can ask freely about it. The Enma has bigger things to be concerned with already anyway (namely the newly named cause of the curse: Haniyasu).

So what does that mean for the next two months? Well, between whatever it is being cooked up in the Underground and everything else, the theme of these two months is Tanabata! How that celebration takes shape in a place like Jigokucho will be revealed as the month goes on, so stay tuned to find out more!

also, he could maybe pick up on the youkai vaguely whenever you feel like it, if you want! just like, weird, off energy or something. sinister-esque, like a demon but not quite. that sort of deal if you're up for it. either way, he'll be more distracted by the awkwardness of trying to talk to people, so I am down for this!!

hes very anti the emna himself rn given he's claimed he was going to fistfight the guy three times to varying degrees of sincerity, so. if nothing else, thats a fun awkward way to meet someone in a new faction. welcome to the enma (faction), people think the enma (guy) sucks! this is normal. we have a support group on wednesdays

So hilariously the enma seems the most like angels from where he’s from so it kind of feels normal? he will not understand what everyone’s problem is probably and be trying to impress. he’s been raised sadly don’t judge him

dddepending how the newbie log this weekend goes, im probably going to be tagging out for the intro mingle itself, and gonna put up an entry for the instagram-esque cafe he works at trying to make aesthetic drinks with the stardust like, soonish or nearer to the mid of the month. either way i can keep an eye out!! theres usually means for even out of faction folks to mingle with newbies at the newbie mingles, so it'll happen some way
