Want to jump right in? This month's Substories are posted here!. As for what's been going on...

Just like the TDM set up, Jigokucho is in recovery mode after the dissipation of a curse that befell the city. It was a full-on horror apocalypse.

The curse is gone, there are rumors stirring that the turf war has ended, and the Kappa are all going back down to work on building… something. It’s all pretty hush-hush, but anyone that’s not in the Department can ask freely about it. The Enma has bigger things to be concerned with already anyway (namely the newly named cause of the curse: Haniyasu).

So what does that mean for the next two months? Well, between whatever it is being cooked up in the Underground and everything else, the theme of these two months is Tanabata! How that celebration takes shape in a place like Jigokucho will be revealed as the month goes on, so stay tuned to find out more!

Tell us about yourself: Mobage (though I'm barely alive on FGO and GBF while waiting for Wuthering Waves), otome games and manhwas are currently my life, followed by ridiculous CW series because what is LA drama but high school drama. My tagging is generally all over the place due to my sporadic schedule, so please backtag with me forever.

Character Name: The Traveler (Lumine)
Canon: Genshin Impact
Character Age: Oooooold ... apparently
Faction: Shuten
Brief Rundown: One half of a twin who got stuck in a world because some god tried kidnapped (???) her twin brother. 500 years later, she's searching for him while running errands for a lot of people, fixing various nations' problems, picking up mint and flowers on the side of the road and making friends along the way because side quests are just as important as the main quest.

Initial Ideas: Lumine's not really keen on raising her reputation as she's more interested in staying comfortably and possibly figuring out why she's here in the first place. So, she'll be up for doing work almost right away that would pay handsomely, especially since she's a chaotic neutral-type of person, while exploring the city on her terms.

As for substories:
✧ Her ember post is here, because why not! Feel free to mistake her as a brocon, but really, she's not.
✧ Mr Libido: lol, she won't be too keen with this, but if you'd like to wrangle this person together and get accused of being streakers themselves, I'd be more than up for it.
✧ It's in the Stars: a lot of people often remark that she has the aura of the stars, probably because she and her brother used to travel to various worlds. So she'd be very interested in checking this out, as she's probably encountered Tanabata or a similar celebration in a different world. Catching stars, drinking (now that no one's stopping her anymore, thanks Charles), partying, etc!!

CR Desires: I'd love for her to start new CR since this is a new world to explore!
✧ new friends! She's easy to befriend and make bonds with as she's pretty amicable for the most part. Let her be friends with you, please.
✧ sparring partners! Lumine would've lost her elemental resonance upon arriving in Hell, so she'll be keen on trying to sharpen her fighting senses more by sparring with people. And since she's in Shuten, you know ...
✧ ridiculous commissions partner! She gets stuck in a lot of weirdass commissions and requests, and most of the time, she's pretty reluctant about it. So be stuck with her so she's not too pitiful.
✧ roomies/neighbors! Lumine usually prefers to be alone, but hey, getting stuck with a roommate or neighbor who won't let up is going to be hilarious. Also, she can cook?? So, anyone can just barge in and eat with her??
✧ for romance/smut preference, she's definitely OTA so whatever goes when it comes to spicy! Can't help it when even girls want to hold hands with you, you know ahemAyakaahem ...

sparring partners :eyes: marie here is in the military, and lost her reaper upon arrival, so she'd be fond of a sparring partner.

(i think it would also be cute if they spoke about their affinity to use different sort of elements in their fighting style)

Hizen regularly fights in the arena (sword fights, mostly). So she can probably catch him there or see him around.
