Just like the TDM set up, Jigokucho is in recovery mode after the dissipation of a curse that befell the city. It was a full-on horror apocalypse.

The curse is gone, there are rumors stirring that the turf war has ended, and the Kappa are all going back down to work on building… something. It’s all pretty hush-hush, but anyone that’s not in the Department can ask freely about it. The Enma has bigger things to be concerned with already anyway (namely the newly named cause of the curse: Haniyasu).

So what does that mean for the next two months? Well, between whatever it is being cooked up in the Underground and everything else, the theme of these two months is Tanabata! How that celebration takes shape in a place like Jigokucho will be revealed as the month goes on, so stay tuned to find out more!

Yes! I love CR that is Cloud getting to hang with various mercenaries/soldiers/etc, especially given they're both in Sutoku, I definitely will try and poke at Marie in the near future! More people getting to talk about being military brats is always fun.

SWEET shooting the shit about being soldiers and sTRUGGLING WITH HOW LOW THEIR PAYRATE IS will make for good bickering tbh. (i was replaying the remake earlier and laughed with how Tifa literally just gives the man 500 gil after literally breaking and entering shira property)
