Want to jump right in? This month's Substories are posted here!. As for what's been going on...

Just like the TDM set up, Jigokucho is in recovery mode after the dissipation of a curse that befell the city. It was a full-on horror apocalypse.

The curse is gone, there are rumors stirring that the turf war has ended, and the Kappa are all going back down to work on building… something. It’s all pretty hush-hush, but anyone that’s not in the Department can ask freely about it. The Enma has bigger things to be concerned with already anyway (namely the newly named cause of the curse: Haniyasu).

So what does that mean for the next two months? Well, between whatever it is being cooked up in the Underground and everything else, the theme of these two months is Tanabata! How that celebration takes shape in a place like Jigokucho will be revealed as the month goes on, so stay tuned to find out more!

Character Name: Shun Akiyama
Canon: Yakuza
Character Age: 34
Faction: Sutoku Alliance
Brief Rundown: Akiyama is an easy going chaotic neutral fae being. I don't know how else to describe him. Formerly homeless, he got a literal windfall of money and used it to turn his life around. He's a money lender who gives interest-free, collateral-free loans with no limits to people with nowhere else to go, but only if they can pass his tests. He's a nice guy, really!

Initial Ideas: I want him to get to a point where he can set up something like Sky Finance in Jigoku-cho, but that's gonna take awhile. Same with rebuilding his whisper network among the homeless population.

CR Desires: He needs someone to keep him in line!! This man cannot be trusted to do anything without a minder of some sort. I'm really down for anything, though. Friends are great, enemies are great, friends with benefits are great.

Yes, absolutely! Sorry I dropped the ball with that thread, I fell off the face of the earth for a week or so. I really liked their CR and definitely want to continue that!

i'm glad!! and no worries, canada day weekend kind of did that for me too. we can keep tagging it back or just handwave something, i'm easy!
