Just like the TDM set up, Jigokucho is in recovery mode after the dissipation of a curse that befell the city. It was a full-on horror apocalypse.

The curse is gone, there are rumors stirring that the turf war has ended, and the Kappa are all going back down to work on building… something. It’s all pretty hush-hush, but anyone that’s not in the Department can ask freely about it. The Enma has bigger things to be concerned with already anyway (namely the newly named cause of the curse: Haniyasu).

So what does that mean for the next two months? Well, between whatever it is being cooked up in the Underground and everything else, the theme of these two months is Tanabata! How that celebration takes shape in a place like Jigokucho will be revealed as the month goes on, so stay tuned to find out more!

I consider Lark reminding anyone of any kind of vague younger relative as a success, so this is a good start. Some day the "don't you want to go apeshit" energy will only become more obvious because being stuck in hell was not the development he was expecting. also no one deserves to have a solar circle in their lives so thank god for Minato He also met Eiichi in the TDM and might have been low-key a little rude to him so this is also great,,,

Honestly I hope he just gets to see the Hashihime cast interact with each other if only because he has enough ability to perceive that a part of him would just internally popcorn, a little.

Looking forward to when he starts regaining the ABSOLUTE NONSENSE that is exalted powers. Also being a rude crass baby is the only way Eiichi knows how to communicate so Lark being rude back is like, yeah that's fair.

I didn't want to put up a substory log post until the IC mingle went up, but there's a strong chance that the substories will be Minato and Eiichi cuffed together (ostensibly done by Tama so they'd get along, more likely out of revenge for that awful tdm thread), so whenever I get the log up, Skylark will have the chance to popcorn..........
