Want to jump right in? This month's Substories are posted here!. As for what's been going on...

Just like the TDM set up, Jigokucho is in recovery mode after the dissipation of a curse that befell the city. It was a full-on horror apocalypse.

The curse is gone, there are rumors stirring that the turf war has ended, and the Kappa are all going back down to work on building… something. It’s all pretty hush-hush, but anyone that’s not in the Department can ask freely about it. The Enma has bigger things to be concerned with already anyway (namely the newly named cause of the curse: Haniyasu).

So what does that mean for the next two months? Well, between whatever it is being cooked up in the Underground and everything else, the theme of these two months is Tanabata! How that celebration takes shape in a place like Jigokucho will be revealed as the month goes on, so stay tuned to find out more!

Brief Rundown:
- quiet ice king who's sensitive and kind inside
- nerd who loves schedules and routines. extremely boring.
- acts like a grumpy old man 95% of the time, a small child the other 5% .... will be mom friend to everyone he knows
- very smitten by kind people ....
- traumatized from a young age by severe neglect so his self-esteem/self-worth is not great but getting better!
- sorcerer with creepy shadow powers and shikigami

Initial Ideas: i'm a go with the flow sort of RPer. megumi will just be catching up with CR and making new friends. he works at a bookshop and volunteers at emily's clinic. i have plans for him to work at aerith's flower shop as well

one day ... he shall buy a bicycle u_u

Substory #2 - he is probably going to end up punching this naked streaker tbh and i'm happy for any stupid threads where they chase him down
Substory #3 - up for this also!! we can string together a long series of misfortune for our characters. or megumi can help your character through their misfortune ...
Substory #4 - this is the one I'm most interested in. i'm up for him working together with other sutoku characters, or having a bit of competition with people from other factions. also interested in letting megumi let loose a little with the effects ... maybe some fighting, drinking (for the first time...) and dancing! maybe he will smile for once, who knows.

CR Desires:
- pure good and happy people for him to become smitten with and protect forever
- people to harass/tease him
- other kids around his age ... bonus if they can pull him out to do teenager things
- people older than him who can treat him like a kid. or hot mess adults he can adopt. let him tell u to stop drinking and gambling u_u
- morally grey or straight up bad people to clash with or ... to 🤝 about the need for occasional murder with
- faction mates! he calls the older/higher ranked ones 'senpai'

but he is here to be your hisoka and i mean that in a really normal.... way. i don't know why i tried this approach. you already know we are going to rp kermit or shrek so it is what it is

i promise...frog man reading corner time. its a fair exchange for dog swimming, and honestly tama might admit thats part of why he was so curious about the wolves in the first place.

i half want to joke about naked man trying to hide in the bookstore from pursuers but tama would think to cover frog man's eyes before he'd think to just. make frogman disappear. it'd be a disaster. hes so bad at being a parent to his shiki-imaginary friend-frog.

he is Also going to be collecting stardust, though at first for a dumb drink idea that's going to immediately backfire, but after that he's going to be doing his proper sutoku duty. he's not used to tanabata being...in july...but he can roll with it just fine!!

i might end up having to do frog man reading corner later in the month jkgds BUT I WILL DO IT AS SOON AS I CAN...prolonged irl stuff has sadly put rp on the backburner, but im too in to the idea of frogman making a nice serious teenager friend and tama having to work out if this counts as being a dad or not.

i'm thinking of doing substories 2 and 4 but she is also working off a small debt to Emily by cleaning at the clinic, so there's that as an option.

hello!! I know you're pretty full-up atm, but at a later date, as we talked, the Boring Duo really oughtta meet up!! this time, it is megumi's turn to receive the mom friend (it's an uncle friend, really). I have no specific ideas, but would be down for any of the substories!

ember stuff is slowing down tbh, and i'll probably come to a point i'm going to gently let them go. i'll be really free up then!! i'll come over :o maybe by then we'll be in the main event, who knows
