Just like the TDM set up, Jigokucho is in recovery mode after the dissipation of a curse that befell the city. It was a full-on horror apocalypse.

The curse is gone, there are rumors stirring that the turf war has ended, and the Kappa are all going back down to work on building… something. It’s all pretty hush-hush, but anyone that’s not in the Department can ask freely about it. The Enma has bigger things to be concerned with already anyway (namely the newly named cause of the curse: Haniyasu).

So what does that mean for the next two months? Well, between whatever it is being cooked up in the Underground and everything else, the theme of these two months is Tanabata! How that celebration takes shape in a place like Jigokucho will be revealed as the month goes on, so stay tuned to find out more!

I enjoyed their tdm thread a lot and should probably pick it up, and now they're in the same faction, so,,,

I can't say friendship will necessarily happen but Skylark isn't easily put off by assholes and has a heart full of sass and spite. Bitchy friends, maybe.

Maybe also laugh at Eiichi's taste in literature since Lark is also a book nerd, but his taste is...adventure stories...

tbh his like. Third most important person loves adventure stories so Skylark gets a point for that. One point. That's it. They can have the most uncomfortable book club.

I laughed at the last point, his exposure to books otherwise is all really highbrow 'classical literature' or religious texts or medical manuals, so adventure books are the one thing he likes on his own.

Speaking of which given Eiichi is actually pretty fussy please do not mind if the kid fusses back at some point—

Listen, he can recommend all sorts of nonsense if he doesn't know much beyond classical literature, okay. But also he was a loser who spent a lot of time studying medical textbooks during his free time anyway.

Speaking of which, Lark is unlikely to be designated healer simply because he's just an apprentice, but if Eiichi needs help from someone who also has some medical knowledge within Shuten, then there's this person (with all his fantasy medieval-era level knowledge) to help,

Also as I mentioned to Van, whenever that post of Minato and Eiichi being handcuffed goes up, Skylark will be there to popcorn that disaster

Just two not fully-fledged doctor dudes trying to patch up this big dumb yakuza gang. I love it. He won't be he will be fine with it if Skylark's good at what he does and would probably appreciate the help deep down.
