Just like the TDM set up, Jigokucho is in recovery mode after the dissipation of a curse that befell the city. It was a full-on horror apocalypse.

The curse is gone, there are rumors stirring that the turf war has ended, and the Kappa are all going back down to work on building… something. It’s all pretty hush-hush, but anyone that’s not in the Department can ask freely about it. The Enma has bigger things to be concerned with already anyway (namely the newly named cause of the curse: Haniyasu).

So what does that mean for the next two months? Well, between whatever it is being cooked up in the Underground and everything else, the theme of these two months is Tanabata! How that celebration takes shape in a place like Jigokucho will be revealed as the month goes on, so stay tuned to find out more!

Tell us about yourself: hello! i'm an illustrator and animator and i have four dogs which some people think is too many dogs. at any given moment there is a 30% chance i am thinking about Pokemon or Fire Emblem (i'm sorry). But there's also Ace Attorney, SMT/Persona, FFXIV, and sometimes Mother 3 and Deltarune. I live in PST right now (it's arizona don't worry about it), but I work from home so I'm usually on whenever! I was bullied into this game by my two castmates!! Send help!!!

Brief Rundown: Medical student from 1920s suffers from intense germaphobia and is somehow still the smartest one of the game's main trio. Insults everyone at any opportunity except for kids, secretly a huge stupid softy that reads romance novels and has no idea how to have positive social interactions. Gets this least amount of time travel trauma.
(also his nickname is Kawase and it makes the least sense of the nicknames in the game in english but I promise you they're the same person. He will nigh-exclusively introduce himself as Eiichi so dw about it. if Tama's already told you about him via his nickname, no he didn't. points at eyes points at u)

Initial Ideas: Eiichi has arrived in hell to make Minato and Tama's lives miserable! He's already partially succeeded! But since Minato's apartment burned down and two of them are now in Shuten, they're gonna have to find another place to live and moving stuff. He hates sweating so he will simply make someone else do the heavy lifting (please save Mina from his terrible fate).

He was also medical student back home, so he's going to try and continue learning even though he's been pulled away from his university classes. I accidentally had like three threads on the TDM be him nagging people that were sick or injured so uh. The fussy busybody side of himself has already been revealed.

On the other hand, he's severely germaphobic, and this city is much more industrialized and tightly packed than he's used to, so he's going to be extremely grumpy adjusting to that and trying to figure out how to deal with it. Sorry Shuten he refuses to party hard these clubs and bars are absolutely disgusting and everyone is also disgusting. You're disgusting. Do not touch him.

(it's extremely hysterical to me that he ended up in Shuten i'm so excited. He has never known a concept of honor or brotherhood in his life.)

Tama's probably gonna steal his phone and force him onto EMBER so. He will be there and he will hate it I promise.


CR Desires: You want negative CR. I have negative CR. He's the worst and cannot interact like a normal human being, and thinks winding people up and getting them angry is fun. He's not really a fighter despite what he would have you believe but he sure can piss people off.

On the other hand if you actually wanna be friends with him uuuhhhh I hope you're ready for a 15 year platonic slowburn. He doesn't really have any friends other than his childhood trio so I think it would be nice to actually make friends, but he will also resist at every possible angle.

Other than that he's gonna find a bookstore and probably end up reading a lot of really bad romance novels and camp melodrama (he would love phantom of the opera tbh). Please feel free to make fun of him. He doesn't get to join the time traveler's club cause he didn't actually get the chance to do so in canon, though he has multiple timeline memories and also the world's babiest spiritual sense, both of which he inherited from someone else. You can make fun of him for this also.

Anything else: I'm gonna put up a proper opt-out post soon, but his canon is full of violence, sex and no rock n roll. Eiichi himself is the product of a heavily abusive backstory, has borderline OCD and does the second-most amount of murder in the cast, so please let me know if anything makes you uncomfortable. He Will tie himself in knots to avoid ever addressing any of this stuff even if asked directly, so hopefully it doesn't come up too much.

i don't have any fun memes because Eiichi sucks and I have a headache please forgive me. all I have are deep-fried enma shitposts.

I enjoyed their tdm thread a lot and should probably pick it up, and now they're in the same faction, so,,,

I can't say friendship will necessarily happen but Skylark isn't easily put off by assholes and has a heart full of sass and spite. Bitchy friends, maybe.

Maybe also laugh at Eiichi's taste in literature since Lark is also a book nerd, but his taste is...adventure stories...

I laughed at the last point, his exposure to books otherwise is all really highbrow 'classical literature' or religious texts or medical manuals, so adventure books are the one thing he likes on his own.
