Want to jump right in? This month's Substories are posted here!. As for what's been going on...

Just like the TDM set up, Jigokucho is in recovery mode after the dissipation of a curse that befell the city. It was a full-on horror apocalypse.

The curse is gone, there are rumors stirring that the turf war has ended, and the Kappa are all going back down to work on building… something. It’s all pretty hush-hush, but anyone that’s not in the Department can ask freely about it. The Enma has bigger things to be concerned with already anyway (namely the newly named cause of the curse: Haniyasu).

So what does that mean for the next two months? Well, between whatever it is being cooked up in the Underground and everything else, the theme of these two months is Tanabata! How that celebration takes shape in a place like Jigokucho will be revealed as the month goes on, so stay tuned to find out more!

Brief Rundown: eula is one of mondstadt's knight's of favonius, the captain of its reconnaissance company and is also known as the Spindrift Knight. she is also a descendant of one of the aristocratic clans in mondstadt who used to rule the nation in an oppressive way, and while mondstadt is now free from the lawrence clan's toxic influence, its people have yet to forget their transgressions and they aren't going to let eula forget it at anytime soon. eula is regal, carries herself in a classy untouchable air -- so long as you don't wrong her that is, because she WILL dole out vengeance on her ass and she will not shut up until she does so? but to be fair that is one of her ways to cope from all the shit she had to bear for being born in the wrong clan so... let her have this. she is a rather nice person deep down her cryo exterior, tbh.

Initial Ideas:

- eula's gonna be really worn out after the events of... well, the last couple of months, really. being constantly overworked while hounded by the media and getting shit for it is reminding her of all the stuff she had to put up with in mondstadt and that's really rough, especially with how she's starting to like this place more than back home. she won't show it in her face but... yeah, she's tired. she'll be found more at bars and taverns, drinking her sorrows away, so she'll need a shoulder to lean on at these dire times u_u

- speaking of the media, she really won't hesitate in telling the media hounds off and declaring her vengeance against them so someone should step in, whoops...

- SUBSTORIES UHH she'll be topleveling in ember in a bit! otherwise let her deal with the naked man.... cut him down and swear revenge on him for being a freak and all that. ill be making a log about all this pretty soon, so stay tuned!

reaches for both Eula and Shylock are good and I could offer a potential friend??? Skylark is like, 15, but he's more used to talking to people who are older than him anyway, so... he's pretty mild-mannered but with a heart full of sass, so he isn't easily put off by eccentric behaviour.

Brief Rundown: shylock is the owner and bartender of a wizards-only bar in western country! western wizards in particular are, politely put, fucking coconuts, and shylock is definitely one of them despite appearing as a refined and sexy man of indeterminate age -- he's all about the ~aesthetics~ and goes about at his own pace, and is a shameless flirt and unbelievably horny on main. he has a #complicated relationship with a dear friend, murr, who he's trying to raise as his own personal catboy after the idiot went and got his soul shattered by the moon, aka his one true love, because it's that kind of series. that said he's a pretty personable guy and is very unflappable; he is mostly unfazed by a lot of things because he himself is bonkers fucking yonkers.

still trapped in backtag mountain with him, so ill mostly be tagging out this month!! he'll want to do tanabata stuff because he actually kind of knows what that tradition is! yay. he's also being hounded by the media because of his involvement with making the incense that helps keep the cursed energy away, but other than that ill be very chill with him this july as he touches base with his current cr and make connections with new ones!

- FRIENDS! shylock is quite eccentric but he's extremely cool and collected, nothing bothers him at all even the more aggressive guys, so if y'all want a really chill guy to talk to, he's here!
