Here's a centralized post for plotting out for the event!

Here's a breakdown summary of every prompt on the event;

Gambling Problem - The Shuten Clan is running an old-style den casino in Sai no Kawara with all kinds of games of chance to try your hand at. Shuten dealers have been trained to cheat on behalf of the house, of course.

Pleasure Palace - Tamamo has created a palace-like house of pleasure. It's essentially an extremely high end cabaret club and brothel, with both an indoor and outdoor stage for performances.

Gossip - With so many high profile clients in town for Tanabata, it's Sutoku's jobs to keep their ears open for all the hot goss they can. One thing in particular most characters will hear about is trouble in one of family of a particular finance wolf. His daughter wants to be a musician. He's trying to get her to come home. Drama ensues.

Tanabata - The usual Tanabata fun, though the Stardust-fueled magic creating the star show might make everyone feel more inclined to get in on the peace and love. What's more, the magic may impact the wishmaking itself! Take a chance, right?

"We Know Who You Are" - The infamous Iron Bear has made their presence felt. An attempted assassination is thwarted, but the finance wolf's daughter is kidnapped, and the Enma is here to make sure everyone starts talking about what they know. A tense ending to a party, but at least no one's in immediate danger. Right? Right?

Nishitani is going to be arriving in couples yukatas (puke) with Andy, doing all the traditional festival shit with her before breaking off. He will be pestering a couple of people before heading off to Sai no Kawara. He will take a break with the cabaret before heading to the gambling halls and checking in on his CREW.

I'm open to anything at anytime during the festiva; (though the "we know who you are" slots are currently SUPER OPEN), Nishitani will be slightly less drunk than normal but no less obnoxious!

Gambling: Matoba isn't a hardcore gambler or anything, but he will definitely step up to the tables and put down some good money for the show of it. That said, while he won't try to cheat himself, he will definitely call out house cheating! I myself am not very familiar with a lot of casino games so I'll be bullshitting my way through the mechanics of these, fair warning lol

Gossip: This will be the main focus as a Sutoku rep, naturally. Matoba is definitely willing to use his rank, some money, some leverage, whatever he can to find out interesting tidbits. And likewise, he's willing to reward anyone else that has good info to share- whether you're a Sutoku under him or not. He'll definitely be working his connections- this is probably a good one for existing CR threads, but I'd love for him to run into some new folks who are hot to goss, too!

Tanabata: Dokis are not likely to pop up with an obvious exception but Matoba is happy to be nosy about other peoples' wishes and explain the holiday to those unfamiliar!

Iron Bear??: You know what isn't cool? Your co-Lieutenant almost getting merc'd. Matoba will be mobilizing his assets immediately and pow-wowing with the other Sutoku Stars to brew a response. I'd like to keep this one to ranked Sutoku CR or Enmas who know Matoba well, so if anyone would like to jump on this aspect let me know!

Whatever! That's going to be his main focus, however. Who cares about this bullshit with the other factions; Tamamo's prosperity, and thus his own, is all that matters. Fuck them other bitches.
Also, he'll be indulging in a little wish writing, since Tanabata is apparently also a thing that exists in his world. Since he's already got a wish for money keeping him in Jigokucho, however, he might get sentimental about this wish...or not. Probably he's just going to be a little shit who wishes for more money. Depends on the company, probably.

Brief Rundown: Everyone's favorite sword-wielding JRPG protag from the late 90s is here and has already gotten himself in a ton of trouble! After his show of bravery in July's operation into the cursed Kaigo no Bou, Cloud took a pretty serious injury he's yet to heal from. As Sutoku's most visible combatant, Cloud is unfortunately the definition of unsubtle. Turns out being a big time hero is a great distraction, though!

Initial Ideas: Cloud is going to be out and about! He's very visible, and also he's going to be in a nice suit that matches a certain Tamamo sub-lieutenant. I'm basically up for whatever people are excited for. He's also going to be on the dance floor (pressganged by a certain Tamamo sub-lieutenant), so everyone gets to see Cloud Strife in fact actually has moves.

GOSSIP: Cloud is too forward to get any gossip himself. He'll be relying on established CR running around gathering info to come to him to fill him in. Besides, he'll be much more invested in...

THE IRON BEAR: As Sutoku's most visible combatant, Cloud has been put in charge of getting the Sutoku's organized in a guerilla militia sense, to combat the cunning of Tamamo and the power of Shuten with some grassroots mobility. With Ryouma, Sutoku's official liason, being the attempted target of the assassination, Cloud is going to be mobilizing whoever he can to get boots on the ground. Strictly speaking, he's of the opinion that Sutoku problems should be solved by Sutoku solutions, so if you can get information from the Enma, go for it, but don't rely on them. SORRY TO ALL HIS COOL ENMA FRIENDS. You might still be able to get something out of him but this is pretty serious.

shylock is the owner and bartender of a wizards-only bar in western country! western wizards in particular are, politely put, fucking coconuts, and shylock is definitely one of them despite appearing as a refined and sexy man of indeterminate age -- he's all about the ~aesthetics~ and goes about at his own pace, and is a shameless flirt and unbelievably horny on main. he has a #complicated relationship with a dear friend, murr, who he's trying to raise as his own personal catboy after the idiot went and got his soul shattered by the moon, aka his one true love, because it's that kind of series. that said he's a pretty personable guy and is very unflappable; he is mostly unfazed by a lot of things because he himself is bonkers fucking yonkers.

Brief Rundown: An idol who went from perfect doll to big brother before graduating and taking time off to go to college and expand his knowledge. He's a hard worker who loves looking after others... and not always so much himself.

Initial Ideas: As an idol, first and foremost his thought is of course to put out a performance. He has the perfect song for it anyway. If for whatever reason anyone would want to perform with him then honestly, he'll teach! The more the merrier. Either way he'll drag himself up there, he's been keeping up with his vocal training even though this will be his first public performance in some time.

He'll also be working at the Palace of Sai, pulling on his old skills as a consort to keep people company. Whether you just want someone to dote upon you lovingly or you want a cute boy who can either be sweet or step on you-- he'll do what he can to please. Likewise if anyone in Tamamo wants to work with him, he'll happily team up with others.

Of course he'll also be at the Tanabata festival proper but finding a wish will be difficult for him. He'd rather be helping answer other people's wishes. But maybe he'll find something to wish for himself... maybe.

Initial Ideas: Totoko's headed to the festival with Jill! Mostly because she had it in her head that she had to have a plus one, and also Jill asked her and she might have died a bit. She'll be decked out in a sweet-ass outfit and ready to mingle! This is a classy spot, after all.

She'll mostly be listening around for gossip, trying to get info about the finance wolf's daughter in hopes that she can maybe help out her career? Otherwise, she can potentially be seen getting pissed about gambling, mmmmaybe heading into the Pleasure Palace, aaand, may. In fact enjoy the Tanabata festivities again.

She's a spunky young woman and shrewd business woman, having spent a great deal of time selling flowers— As a naturally adaptable person, she's surprisingly street smart even though she definitely comes off as being very quirky. Aerith is sweet, kind, flirtatious and snarky; she's got a biting sense of humor that probably feels a bit pointed with how perceptive to others she is.

As a newly minted two star sub-lieutenant of Tamamo, Aerith is officially opening up a flower shop!! 🎉🎉🎉

Initial Ideas:

🎀 With apologies to all, Aerith is attending Tanabata in Western dress instead of Eastern. You're free to notice that she matches a certain Super Brave McHero Braveypants of the Sutoku persuasion. She's probably stuck a flower from her hair in his lapel or something, ask Sven about it.

🎀 Aerith is going to be promoting her upcoming flower shop by handing out business cards. She's going to be a nuisance and leave them everywhere! It's easy to trace them back to her, after all, and she has no problem with being called out.

Initial Ideas:

1: Gambling Problem
Azula's not at the arena to gamble or to fight, she's there to see other people fight. Useful information for later. She might, however, be persuaded to wager a small amount on an underdog fighter if she sees potential. The other noteworthy thing here is that she'll be way more sociable/approachable here than she will at the party, if you ever want to see what she's like when she's actually sociable/approachable in any fashion.

3: Gossip
Azula won't be talking, but she will be listening. Y'know, like a creepy stalker. Her particular point of interest is A: Criminal activity, and B: Anything to do with fellow Lost Souls and any rumors therein, because those are the ones she's going to assume are valuable for her.

4: Tanabata
The centerpiece of the evening. Azula is there and dressed in the nicest yukata she could get her hands on, because it's her job, and she is miserable. She'll be doing her best sullen wallflower impersonation the entire night, because she had her fill of mingling at the festival, thank you.
Naturally, she's therefore very able to be pestered. Oh, and she won't be bothering with this wish nonsense, barring some spectacular browbeating.

5: Iron Bear
Okay, see, this is more like it. Azula will be very ready for action. If Enma forces are mobilized, she'll be there, and when she's not there, she'll be investigating, either via interrogation or trying to find some physical evidence of where the kidnappers could have gone to. Is she... enjoying this? Yeah. Yeah, she certainly seems to be.

Anything else: She's 16 and also psycho, it does limit the options some.

Sheliak got some of his water magic back and he will be eager to show off at the arena, particularly after his frustrating job as a dealer at the casino. Also, as someone who tends to be secretly miserable during social obligations he might sympathize with Azula. He is also going to be doing his own investigation after the kidnapping since he doesn't want the Enma to hold all the information.

Initial Ideas: •Owen isn't much interested in card games or the like, but he will absolutely bet on any fights that may or may not break out. He doesn't even care who wins or loses but it'll be fun!

•Probably stuff at the Palace of Sai even though Owen is not especially... good... at doing what people want or making them feel good about themselves... but some people are into that! If you're into that, maybe he will actually be helpful to the clan for once. Alternatively people stuck working alongside him in a pair can try to get him to cooperate. (Which is surprisingly easy, because you can just give him sweets or take him out for tea but I digress.)

•Owen will take part of the festivities! He will be very nosy about wishes and putting up a wish himself, not that it's anything worth wishing for. Still, he has to know.

I'm not sure if I'll be top leveling, BUT these are the ideas... o9!!

The type of old man most likely to make young people do hard work for him.

Initial Ideas:
Gambling Problem - Norimune would likely play a few games just for the thrill than making money (but winning would be nice). He honestly would have fun if it's challenging and there's cheating, so I can see him winning and losing games, but he won't go too far.
Pleasure Palace - Honestly, I have the idea of Norimune performing a fan dance. Just need a lil more detail to set it up (musician? a partner??).
Tanabata - I'm still thinking about which wish, so I'm leaving this part open. But he can ask about other's wishes, if they don't mind answering.
"We Know Who You Are" - Alas, good times end for now. Norimune will start working, so investigating and interrogating in any way he can. Team up with him? Exchange info?

Would love to have a thread or two for this prompt as well! Zhongli is pretty good at being inconspicuous so he'll get some juicy deets from whomever about the Iron Bear. Tanabata;

Intending for this one to be open for everyone and more like a general prompt for easy CR making/talking if you'd like! Zhongli won't be making a wish but he will watch and eat and enjoy himself while he takes in the sights! This could also be a romantic option if you so choose!

Brief Rundown: A disgraced Jedi Knight of the Old Republic. Jaika fled the Order, did a bunch of shady shit, realized he was getting in too deep, had a battle with his sister who DIDN'T think they were getting in too deep, got himself blinded in an explosion, came crawling back to the Order, and then got involved in a war against the Sith Empire. He's a sarcastic jackass who deflects attention with a stream of bad jokes, but his heart really is in the right place.

Initial Ideas: Gambling/Plreasure - Jaika is an ascetic warrior monk. He has little interest in things like sex and gambling, and generally wouldn't get involved with them if he could avoid it, so probably skipping those first to prompts unless someone has a really good idea.

Gossip - He IS, however, very good at eavesdropping. He'll be keeping his metaphorical ears open for any kind of strange rumors going around, even though he's new enough that he's not QUITE sure what rumors would be considered "strange".

Tanabata - Jaika habitually plays things pretty close to the vest. Used to the life of wandering from planet to planet on various Jedi missions, after all. Initial Ideas:

Overall: While Jon isn't Shuten, he's going to be wallflowering a bit and listening in to whatever sounds interesting. He'll be taking a few slow quiet drinks here and there throughout the night, making awkward small talk if anyone approaches him, but he'll enjoy the music.

Tanabata: While he definitely will say he doesn't believe in wishing since it's not something you can control yourself, he'll still be quietly slipping his own wish onto a limb. He might make some comments here or there disparaging it openly while quietly encouraging anyone who seems like they really need some hope in their life.

Kidnapping: Jon will be trying to follow the kidnappers until they get to the Wasteland. After that, he'll likely just sit in on some of the Enma interrogations and not participate, but still listen and note anything specific down that seems important.

He works as a host serving up some truly ridiculous levels of cheesy romance hero vibes. His latest movie showed up in a theater near you (Sparkling Detective Akeboshi Koutarou: Fiance of the Funeral Procession) so NPCs recognize him when he goes out in public! Also he has magic paper dolls that can fly around and spy for him, and has recently regained his ability to temporarily seal naughty youkai in special exorcist pots.

There's a weird lizard youkai that lives on his body and he hates it! It looks like a solid black tattoo flat against his skin, except it moves around with a gross skittering noise. He's extremely buttmad that everyone can see it here and it's making him extra cranky, especially because the lizard also has a fanclub after his movie was released. Let's hear it for lizard-tan!

Initial Ideas: As mentioned above, Natori is putting his acting experience to good use as a professional flirt aka host, but since it's Tanabata there's some fun to be had with his paper magic as well! Tossing out a few ideas:

• Gambling: Natori hanging around the card tables as pure arm candy, except that if he notices a customer trying to cheat they might just find a paper doll in place of the card they're trying to palm. Or the dolls can swoop by at an inconvenient moment to make just enough of a breeze to fumble getting a card from their sleeve. He's not even benefiting from the casino, he's just being a spoil-sport. Catch him catching someone else?
  
• Tanabata: Similarly I feel like there's an opportunity to do some nonsense magic with the wishes! Maybe he's helping out with someone's showy performance by making the slips of paper fly around the air, or maybe some shorty can't reach a free spot and he can get it up to the top of the tree.
  
• Pleasure Palace: Natori isn't much of a stage actor but he's happy to lend a hand, either by spicing up someone else's performance or by helping to chat up the guests with stories about showbiz. Or idk maybe someone's about to drop the super expensive drinks and he instinctively catches both them and the drinks like a meet-cute in a shoujo story.
  
• Sealing jars: This is maybe more for the aftermath than the event itself, but as mentioned above Natori regained his ability to temporarily seal youkai inside a pot for an easy way to end a fight/bring someone in. The catch is that he's got a limited number and it requires a lot of set-up work (drawing spell circles, luring the youkai in, timing his chants right, etc.) so he needs a buddy to keep the youkai busy as he gets all the prep done. Potentially something that can come in handy if there's a fetch quest or arrest attempt further down the line!

Anything else: I link this every time but here's a three minute long video compilation of some, but not all, of the times that Natori sparkles like an idiot who doesn't realize he's supposed to turn the romance shtick off.

• GAMBLING • while dosei himself will only have interest in watching the fights, yome herself does enjoy a good gamble and considers herself fairly good at it, as well. she also has a specific love for fucking with oni, so she'd go all out on trying to rob them blind. if you see him at the tables, it's most certainly not him. she'd love a partner, really.

• PLEASURE PALACE • dosei himself may be here as a begrudging host, if you're into short bratty men or babyfaces (or a bit of quiet, since he can't offer any words). also fun to harass or embarrass, if that's up your alley. being a jorogumo herself, yome will likely flounce about and use her charms just to either wring wallets or have a fun time out in her element. both might also be seen at the bar, although for differing reasons. somewhat spicier is fine, but i'd generally prefer 18+ since he is 800 despite being height challenged. also, he's pretty ignorant and has yet to properly experience attraction to someone, so it'd probably be pretty fun for him to struggle. man has to wake up sometime. yome however is more than willing to talk saucy quips back and forth; it's her forte.

• TANABATA • dosei is going to be, well...wishing to stay. most people probably wouldn't want to stay in hell, but considering what he's got waiting for him back home, this place is practically paradise. i'm down for vibing or feelings making shit awkward...or for unintentional spilling of guts if you want one or both sides to get something out they wouldn't normally.

tamamo - as a tamamo, jack can obviously be found around their establishment to make customers feel like royalty. they're not exactly interested in sex, but if it's to lend an ear and treat you like royalty, then they can definitely do that.
tanabata - for tanabata, jack will be in their yukata! they honestly have no interest in putting a wish, and will probably keep themselves away to the sides while others go and have fun. unfortunately sometimes you have a bad experience with things that have to do with magic and wishes!! either way, they'll probably just be trying to drink a little and hope that the festivities end quickly--
iron bear stuff - or we can witness a near assassination attempt, sure. jack here will be trying to eavesdrop some of the enma investigations in the form of a black cat. nevertheless, they could also be found in other forms, including the main one that they're using right now! they're just a silly 19 year old, they know nothing--!

Brief Rundown: Sheliak was a human who died and was transformed into a being made of magic. What is left of his humanity is just an echo used to tether his magic to the real world. He still stubbornly clings to his human past and pretends to be human instead of the terrifying magical being that he truly is. He hides his flaws behind a mask of polite perfection, like he has been taught as a noble.

Initial Ideas: I plan on topleveling with Sheliak

Gambling - Sheliak did not enjoy learning how to cheat but unfortunately for him he was good at it and he's right at home among the high rollers thanks to his noble background. So, much to his dismay, he has been roped into working as a dealer. He's going to silently hate every moment of it and stubbornly hold off on resorting to cheating until he absolutely has to. (I will also add the disclaimer that I'm not very familiar with casino games, or how to cheat at them but I will do my best!)

I forgot to mention that Shelaik will be fighting in the arena at some point to show off his water magic now that he has started to get it back.

Pleasure Palace - Sheliak has a weakness for music so he will be watching all of the performances he can. Just don't ask him to perform. He has no musical talent at all.

Tanabata - Sheliak will have mixed reactions about the star scenery. The stars of the milky way are very important to Sheliak. Much of his world's culture revolved around a hidden sky that only the gods could see. The hidden truth behind these mysterious stars that didn't match his world's sky is that they are from the world his ancestors originally came from (Earth) before they were banished to Althiya. His own name Sheliak comes from this hidden sky, specifically the constellation Lyra if any astronomy inclined characters want to make that connection. Sheliak only learned the truth a year ago and Earth's sky still feels magical to him. He will be very curious about any story connected to the stars. That is, until he realizes they are the stars Vega and Altair in which case his fascination will sour with a rare hint of honesty for him. Altair is a both someone Sheliak despises and a friend who he would do anything for. He's also one of the few people who could easily drag the real Sheliak out from his his careful mask so this is a fun way to get a glimpse of the real Sheliak and learn more about his past. Sheliak doesn't talk about himself much but he will talk about his friends, especially if it's complaining about how insufferable Altair is.

For other Tanabata things, Sheliak might need someone to show him how to enjoy himself. This is his first Tanabata ever so he will probably feel a bit lost. As for wishes, there is a wish I want him to make but he has complicated feelings about magic so he will need a push for it to happen.

"We Know Who You Are" - Sheliak will initially try to chase after the kidnappers but when they escape he will discreetly conduct his own investigation under the guise of a worried bystander. He doesn't trust the Enma to hold all of the information.

He grew up impoverished and climbed his way up using his smarts and charms in deceptive ways, and because of that, he's not fazed by all the crime and debauchery here. His past fuels his desire to make life better for the downtrodden and Yuri's highly protective of his friends and those he considers his people. All in all, he's a rogue with a good heart.

Initial Ideas:
Gambling - Yuri can be found at the tables! He's a cheater old hand at cards and knows what tricks to watch out for, and will intervene if he sees fellow Sutoku or CR being cheated out of their money. He'll probably refrain from pulling anything shady on opening day, but will be trying to identify potential conspirators. Basically I'm interested in building CR with Shuten dealers or Sutoku players who would like to tag-team at cheating in the future.
Gossip - He'll be listening for gossip at the casino tables. He's particularly interested in schmoozing with the rich clientele, so he might be spotted attached to someone's arm by the end of the night. Those who know him can probably tell he's putting on an act - sweet smiles, flirty, and a little too comfortable with the lecherous advances he's attracting.
Tanabata - He'll be stargazing and seeing if he can identify his birth star, but end up pointing out constellations wrongly. He's a flat earther from 1180, what does he know!
Iron Bear - He's already made post-party plans with whatever rich youkai he managed to charm so they'll be together for the questioning. Thing is, Yuri lied about his personal info so he might be in hot water if the Enma are IDing people.

Pleasure Palace & Gossip - Yeah, he's going to be playing the idiot and trying to con rich drunk egomaniacs out of their gossip off at the cabaret. Is this a bad idea? Normally I'd say yes because he's a VN protag and we all know how that works, but he's been so consistently voted low on Ember that I think he'd wager it's not that high a risk for high reward. And hey, it kinda paid off! Aside from his main success, if someone's hustling around the same area, comparing notes is always appreciated.

Tanabata - Sorry, boyfriends only. I genuinely don't think Tama would even make a genuine wish, just claim he did, which is a little depressing but he's in a weird spot right now okay.

For once in this game, I am kind of in a hazy, undetermined place right now where I don't have any specific plans because all my plans right now are in line with what's happening anyway!

Ryouma isn't a gambler, but he will at least poke around to support his Shuten friends. He wouldn't necessarily go for the Pleasure Palace things on his own, but might with the right incentive. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

The Big Deal for Ryouma this month and onward until he gets to the bottom of it will obviously be finding out more about the black market and Iron Bear. The assassination attempt has, if anything, made him more determined than ever to pursue his goals. It's definitely no secret that Ryouma wants this information too and will be hanging around to hear what he can hear for the general Gossip throughout the event as well. He will caution anyone else who tries investigating things, given the reaction to people asking around about Iron Bear, but he also knows his hands are tied somewhat because there is only so much investigating he can do himself anymore because more and more people recognise him now.

Mostly, I really want to continue focusing on building CR through this event/month. I want to make new CR and continue developing what's already there. This can be business or personal I'm open to both, although, like I've been saying on plurk for the long term, I do want to get him closer to more people it's just... he's difficult at the moment lmao. Fortunately, Tanabata things could be good for that! I am open to cute things and sappy feels shit because of the pretty stars and it will be adorable if anyone wants to speedrun his evasive bullshit!

He's generally kind and polite even as he holds people at a distance, but he can be convinced to go a little batshit, as a treat. If you're looking for a straight man (figuratively, not literally), he's your guy!

Initial Ideas: - For Sutokus: Kim offered to help w tailoring, so that's an option for pre-event stuff!
- Gambling: he doesn't have the stomach for too much high stakes gambling, but will have brought a discrete amount so that he can give it a shot and also get a good look at the locale and clientele -- his personal rubbing elbows has mainly been with lower-class youkai, and he's interested in seeing how the youkai with cash to burn act.
- Pleasure Palace: I probably won't be doing a prompt for this one, but Kim can certainly be convinced to accompany someone else, even if it's just to watch an entertainer friend perform, though he would seem impervious to the hosts' charms at best, and uncomfortable at worst.
- Gossip: He'll be keeping his ear to the ground when it comes to intel and gossip, usually by being largely innocuous. He'll be happy to cooperate with fellow Sutokus (or people from other clans that he already personally trusts) to do so. He'll also try to figure out what's going on with Ringo-chan, though he's stridently against reuniting her with her father until they know more, concerned that she's from a bad home situation. Unbeknownst to him, his power will allow him to more easily fetch information with a smile, which isn't what you'd expect from a guy who looks and acts like Kim... curious, isn't it?
- Tanabata: Kim will be in awe of the display, though he'll still be jumpy and liable to keep his guard up -- he remembers what happened the last two times he let his guard down in the face of spectacle, and he's not having it, any effects from the drugs making him even cagier. He could use a hand to help him relax, or perhaps to even make a wish, something that he seems oddly reluctant to do.
- Iron Bear: Kim will get into a brief argument with Enma officers due to his instinct to follow in hot pursuit, but will ultimately bow to their authority. He will do what investigative work he can. Because it's limited - and because everyone will be held until late at night - this might be a good prompt for just being stuck trying to pass the time in an uncomfortable situation together.

A local doctor who'd prefer you think she is perfectly normal and has no secrets and is just here to help. Kind, friendly, and hardworking to a fault. Actually a survivor of a looping death game and thus bent towards her own survival as well as that of those she cares about. Practical, somewhat jaded, but trying to make the best of this new world. A partial lieutenant for the Sutoku, and with a dose of learning about politics, bent towards ensuring the Alliance doesn't crumble and people stay alive. Being Ryouma's second is mainly just to ensure the latter - particularly his own survival.

Emily is also a CRAU from slumscape, and that means she's currently possessed by a tengu spirit named Hibiki. Though they only sometimes come out to commentate, they're as much a part of her as her own limbs, and influence her thoughts and decision making, and may fully take her over at times to experience life for their own self. Let me know if you ever want to chat with them!

Gambling: So this will come in two flavors. Emily herself will eschew regular betting on games to instead occasionally put down bets on the outcome of certain fights at the arena - she'll keep herself back from the bloodshed, but this she can read better than the games of chance. If you look like you'll stand a good round, she might put something down on you.

Alternatively, her possessing youkai will be coming out at a point, and they stand a better chance at the actual tables. If they catch you cheating, they may call you out before the dealer. If you're the dealer? Hope you like the feeling of someone watching your very soul as you try to rig the game. Good luck.

Gossip: Using her influence and general ability to listen well, Emily's getting some news about Iron Bear that she'll be open to sharing with her associates. Beyond that, she's happy to provide a distraction if someone else needs an in to talk to another person - but she will grab any Sutoku who seem too obvious in their pressing or just downright pathetic and steer them away for a mild talk. Discretion is the name of the game, after all.

Tanabata: Emily will be happily affected by the star magic and in a wonderful mood - even if she doesn't know people, she'll be apt to want to spread that joy and love to others. Whether that manifests as old friends, new allies, or something else, it's all on the table. She's also slipping a wish of her own on the tree, and will encourage people to do the same! What's the harm, after all?

Possession: As mentioned earlier, Emily's possessing tengu will be allowed to come out and enjoy Tanabata at the event. Hibiki is an observer type with an uncanny ability to read people, a taste for enjoying life, and a love for stories. They are also something of an asshole in that weird old soul way and have a literal taste for blood, and Emily formally apologizes for them. Hit them up and get a weird new friend, listen to them playing the shinobue they've won off someone, or just get read for filth point blank.

Brief Rundown: Imagine the angriest, most pettiest, feral cat you can imagine but the kind that still comes to your door to beg for food and you usually give it something cause you feel bad for it. That's Eiichi but somehow even more unappealing.

Initial Ideas:

Gambling: Eiichi's gonna be working at the casino as a card dealer! And he is going to be cheating the hell out of anyone at his table. He's pretty slick, but he's no card shark, so feel free to notice and get mad at him. Or he would be happy to fleece you of all your monetary assets. He'll be dressed up nice, though he probably won't be wearing the yukata on his shoulders during work. Probably. It might help later.

Palace: He has absolutely no interest in food, drinks, or company, so he will probably not go to any of that at all. But, he would be mildly interested in seeing the performances, so he might at least look out of curiosity. Feel free to harangue him into going with you, but he's absolutely abstaining from anything sexual.

Iron Bear: I don't actually have any plans for the terrible afterparty, but he's probably just gonna be listening to the crowd, and also staying the fuck away from the crowd. And also complaining that he wants to go home. 0/10 tanabata party.
