Just like the TDM set up, Jigokucho is in recovery mode after the dissipation of a curse that befell the city. It was a full-on horror apocalypse.

The curse is gone, there are rumors stirring that the turf war has ended, and the Kappa are all going back down to work on building… something. It’s all pretty hush-hush, but anyone that’s not in the Department can ask freely about it. The Enma has bigger things to be concerned with already anyway (namely the newly named cause of the curse: Haniyasu).

So what does that mean for the next two months? Well, between whatever it is being cooked up in the Underground and everything else, the theme of these two months is Tanabata! How that celebration takes shape in a place like Jigokucho will be revealed as the month goes on, so stay tuned to find out more!

THE GODS WERE RIGHT

NatsuYuu spiritual sense can't tell what exactly they are sensing from a particular individual so this sort of works to his advantage; all Matoba will be able to tell is that there is 'something' magical or spiritually powerful about his presence without being able to pinpoint details! Since he seems quite human at a glance he will probably just as easily presume him a human with spiritual power.

He is definitely not afraid to speak his mind when he sees younger magical-types engaging in activity that he deems as dangerous or ill-advised so they can certainly cross paths and chat it up by some means!

That's great since even the canon is kind of /vaguewobbleshands on what "being the child of a god" actually entails and Skylark has been deadeyeing into the distance ever since he was told, "well, on the one hand, you are human, but someone can also make the argument that you aren't and technically it wouldn't be wrong".

I'm not sure what ill-advised misadventures he will be getting into yet, but he might end up rooming with Hizen at some point so that's also a potential point of commonality.
