Just like the TDM set up, Jigokucho is in recovery mode after the dissipation of a curse that befell the city. It was a full-on horror apocalypse.

The curse is gone, there are rumors stirring that the turf war has ended, and the Kappa are all going back down to work on building… something. It’s all pretty hush-hush, but anyone that’s not in the Department can ask freely about it. The Enma has bigger things to be concerned with already anyway (namely the newly named cause of the curse: Haniyasu).

So what does that mean for the next two months? Well, between whatever it is being cooked up in the Underground and everything else, the theme of these two months is Tanabata! How that celebration takes shape in a place like Jigokucho will be revealed as the month goes on, so stay tuned to find out more!

Character Name: Ningguang

Character Age: I'm just going with 30
Faction: Sutoku
Brief Rundown: Ningguang is the Tianquan of the Liyue Qixing, which means she's pretty much HBIC of the geo nation of Teyvat. She grew up in poverty and made it to that position through hard work and a talent for business and finance. Through her experience, she's learnt that power is and should be used for more than just money, and dislikes ostentatious and frivolous displays of wealth. She understands power, value and worth, and is very good at dealing with people and information, to the point where she's usually a few steps ahead of any games currently on the board.

She also threw her big fancy house at a god once and then just rebuilt it, NBD.

Initial Ideas: Mostly she's going to be scoping out the lay of the land in all directions. Learning how the factions work, how stuff hangs together in the city, what the political landscape is like, what the people are like, etc. Information gathering as much as possible and educating herself.

CR Desires: Ning is pretty aloof on first encounters so my CR interests are in any people who'd break through that, whether it's in a positive way or a negative way. People for her to be more casual around eventually, also people for her to butt heads with. She'd also probably be scoping people out as potential resources for stuff, whether that's practical skills or intelligence.

Hi there! Matoba here is already pals ("pals") with a couple of Liyue folks in the game and is also a 3* Lieutenant in Sutoku, so he will almost certainly cross paths with Ningguang!

He himself is the head of a large comglomerate exorcist clan back home and is responsible for more or less the governance of his local exorcist community, so I think they could have similar vibes and interesting discussions about the state of things in this city. He's a little, uh, ...well he's a shady character, though.
