Just like the TDM set up, Jigokucho is in recovery mode after the dissipation of a curse that befell the city. It was a full-on horror apocalypse.

The curse is gone, there are rumors stirring that the turf war has ended, and the Kappa are all going back down to work on building… something. It’s all pretty hush-hush, but anyone that’s not in the Department can ask freely about it. The Enma has bigger things to be concerned with already anyway (namely the newly named cause of the curse: Haniyasu).

So what does that mean for the next two months? Well, between whatever it is being cooked up in the Underground and everything else, the theme of these two months is Tanabata! How that celebration takes shape in a place like Jigokucho will be revealed as the month goes on, so stay tuned to find out more!

hello I've been meaning to try and get CR with Natori for a hot second, given Minakami's in the family-curse/yokai-possessed/exorcist-adjacent contingent, even if he's a baseline human as it stands. (He also really likes movies and fully intended to watch Fiance but #drama meant he didn't get around to it, and then bloodrain happened.)

Besides the haniyasu investigation being an interest, he also agrees that the leaderboard is Bullshit, not because of his own ranking or anything but because his buddy Tama is #3 and that's Rude >:(

Ayyy, exorcist-adjacent family curses club! (It's a bad club.) He wouldn't immediately shill his movie to people he meets in exorcist-related contexts (though he'll explain if asked/if it comes up from the fans surrounding him) so it would be funny if they meet in a normal capacity and then afterwards Minakami finally managed to sit down for the movie and is like "...wait a second"
