Just like the TDM set up, Jigokucho is in recovery mode after the dissipation of a curse that befell the city. It was a full-on horror apocalypse.

The curse is gone, there are rumors stirring that the turf war has ended, and the Kappa are all going back down to work on building… something. It’s all pretty hush-hush, but anyone that’s not in the Department can ask freely about it. The Enma has bigger things to be concerned with already anyway (namely the newly named cause of the curse: Haniyasu).

So what does that mean for the next two months? Well, between whatever it is being cooked up in the Underground and everything else, the theme of these two months is Tanabata! How that celebration takes shape in a place like Jigokucho will be revealed as the month goes on, so stay tuned to find out more!

im begging you to regain Ser Pounce-a-lot, that crushed me so bad in DA2 before i even learned of the very big whoopsie

anyway i have a cat-coded protag of a timetravel VN set in 1922 japan who is basically all about:
1. the government sucks and is bad: a dissertation by tama mizumori age 22
2. two hands means you can hold two different boys hands, and make it the worlds problem
3. if a surgeon or mental health specialist approaches you then you can and should punch them and run away because they're trying to lock you up
4. hallucinate away your trauma and then its gone!

point being, i never in my goddamn life thought tamamori and anders would vibe, but here i am, and dreamwidth is a beautiful nightmare. anyway he can teach kaomoji and horribly useless things about writing on cellphones, in exchange for putting up with his curiosity about magic things. also more magical healers means tama's less likely to puff up like an angry cat and hide under the bed, the next time he gets sick or something, so that's cool??

these are absolutely valid points except maybe for the one about surgeons, please don't wander around with injuries?? anders will definitely slap him with healing spells if he is In Need, yes... please learn only one thing about self care...

thankfully jigoku has a firm "pets are immortal dont ask questions" clause, tama's bf regained his cat and tama would def try to get cat playdates going for pet owners. tama can finally have fish that dont die on him thanks to the clause so he's gonna be so excited

hes got mental illness and also illusion powers, and his grandfather's response to that was institutionalization so uh. dont take it personal about the surgery he just goes full chaos if someone tries to take him to a physician. he WANTS to get better but.....uh......its a work in progress lmao,

tama has been using almost exclusively cat LINE stickers. at this rate he might literally start directing people to the app store and what shops to buy things from...i'll find anders on the newbie mingle somehow, and tama can start gifting out his like, nine spare cat phone charms to random catlovers he comes across. this is how cr is born im sure
