Want to jump right in? This month's Substories are posted here!. As for what's been going on...

Just like the TDM set up, Jigokucho is in recovery mode after the dissipation of a curse that befell the city. It was a full-on horror apocalypse.

The curse is gone, there are rumors stirring that the turf war has ended, and the Kappa are all going back down to work on building… something. It’s all pretty hush-hush, but anyone that’s not in the Department can ask freely about it. The Enma has bigger things to be concerned with already anyway (namely the newly named cause of the curse: Haniyasu).

So what does that mean for the next two months? Well, between whatever it is being cooked up in the Underground and everything else, the theme of these two months is Tanabata! How that celebration takes shape in a place like Jigokucho will be revealed as the month goes on, so stay tuned to find out more!

Tell us about yourself: Newbie here! I'm in GMT -10 timezone so my tags come at weird hours, I apologize........ Fandoms other than Genshin are IDOLiSH7, Hypnosis Mic, Persona 5, Pokemon, Arcane. There're probably more but those are the first ones that come to mind.

Brief Rundown: Local broke astrologist just wants to hone her craft and make a name for herself – I wish I were joking but no, that's who Mona is. She takes a lot of pride in her work and is confident as hell, but she's easily angered when it seems like someone's disrespecting her. She also wielded the Hydro element prior to arriving here, so she can maneuver her way through battles and such. She's going to be both excited and upset that she'll have to relearn the stars here but she's going to do her damned hardest to do so!!!

Initial Ideas: I don't really have any solid plans for Mona atm! I'm just going with the flow, though I am contractually obligated to do the It's in the stars... event. Stars and also, Mona's gonna want to research the stardust. A lot. Otherwise, just settling in stuff is fine, too! Let her meet her fellow Sutoku members (and cross-faction stuff is always welcome, too).

CR Desires:
🌟 People who are into astrology, where u at. But also, fellow researcher CR would be a ton of fun!
🌟 Anyone that's down to help Mona have a little fun would be good too. She's too caught up in trying to maintain the image of a Perfect Astrologist that she tries not to think about her indulgences sometimes.
🌟 Co-workers would be cool once she gets a job!! Or ask her to work for/with you, that's fine too!
🌟 Mona gravitates towards hero-types and people who are just. Really cool. She might try to call you her disciple if she thinks you're cooler than her... I am sorry........
🌟 She's not really interested in intimacy right now, so that's probably the only thing I'm going to pass on! Romance is a huge maybe, and probably won't be for a while. Otherwise, I'm down for p much anything!

ASTROLOGY YOU SAY...

kimmuriel has a very fledgling interest in stars, astronomy, etc so as much as he's kinda cagey about it he would be kinda fascinated by the idea of like, someone using the stars as a divination guide. It's kind of an antiquated discipline in Faerun so he'd like to learn about what it's like for someone from another world!

...Okay, well, Mona and him can always meet up. Maybe she can find him just as he's getting into a fight because he gets into a LOT of those, then start from there (or have them meet during one of the substories, like the watch one.)

Since that would be a good idea to gauge how their CR would go. But it'd be nice if they could eventually be friends or something!! Even if Felix is pretty...prickly and a lone wolf LMAO

this meeting is either gonna go surprisingly well or extremely poorly, but i'm down for them becoming friends either way!
