Just like the TDM set up, Jigokucho is in recovery mode after the dissipation of a curse that befell the city. It was a full-on horror apocalypse.

The curse is gone, there are rumors stirring that the turf war has ended, and the Kappa are all going back down to work on building… something. It’s all pretty hush-hush, but anyone that’s not in the Department can ask freely about it. The Enma has bigger things to be concerned with already anyway (namely the newly named cause of the curse: Haniyasu).

So what does that mean for the next two months? Well, between whatever it is being cooked up in the Underground and everything else, the theme of these two months is Tanabata! How that celebration takes shape in a place like Jigokucho will be revealed as the month goes on, so stay tuned to find out more!

Kamui here is from a DIFFERENT adv/vn with eyeball themes (or at least he was before he rolled into the No More Heroes series!) so i would love to throw them together! his view on killing is super practical-- he'll do it with no hesitation if it's needed but feels pretty neutral about it-- so having to cooperate with Saito who'd be having a blast lol could be really interesting. I'm down to see what happens on a substory or with whatever plot happens later in the month if you are!

Sadly, I don't know Kamui or his canon at all, but I'm all down for that interaction! Just like Saito was "I don't get Rohan's obsession with eyes", I can already see Kamui going "I don't get this guy's obsession with murder" asdkjasdkj. I mean, also imagine being forced to temporarily babysit a manchild who's so thirsty for his fix, so he doesn't ruin your task or mission or whatever... It can't go right. It just can't.

i actually learned recently-ish that his original game (The Silver Case/the Kill the Past series) was one of Uchi's inspirations for AI?! Tonally they are not similar at all but they do have uhhh conspiracies and eyeballs in common lmao. Anyway, Kamui's been here a bit and he used to be a detective despite being a Shuten now too; Saito I believe in you, please give him a headache!!
