Just like the TDM set up, Jigokucho is in recovery mode after the dissipation of a curse that befell the city. It was a full-on horror apocalypse.

The curse is gone, there are rumors stirring that the turf war has ended, and the Kappa are all going back down to work on building… something. It’s all pretty hush-hush, but anyone that’s not in the Department can ask freely about it. The Enma has bigger things to be concerned with already anyway (namely the newly named cause of the curse: Haniyasu).

So what does that mean for the next two months? Well, between whatever it is being cooked up in the Underground and everything else, the theme of these two months is Tanabata! How that celebration takes shape in a place like Jigokucho will be revealed as the month goes on, so stay tuned to find out more!

Character Name: Helly R.
Canon: Severance
Character Age: Late 20s/Early 30s
Faction: Tamamo
Brief Rundown: Helly is a severed worker, meaning she is a split worksona of a so-called real person who chose to work at Lumon Industries. When people work for Lumon they undergo a procedure called severance, which creates a version of them that only exists to work on the basement floor of the company. The ultimate work-life balance so they say.

Except Helly fucking hates her job and being alive, so she'll be extremely happy to be in Hell and have full autonomy! She's going to be the ultimate fish out of water in that she has never had the right to chose the clothes she wears or experienced sleeping in a bed. Basically brand new to being human. However she's also kind of an asshole by default. "Kind but not nice" is her brand.

Initial Ideas: A lot of this month is going to be full of "what's this, what's that, what the fuck?" for Helly for the reasons I stated in the rundown. She's going to try her very best to not seem like a total weirdo but it will likely fail. Mostly I'm winging it and seeing what happens.

CR Desires:
-People to help her fit into Hell, especially within Tamamo.
-I plan for her to get a job at a Tamamo bar in bartending. Shame she'll be lazy!
-People who are also new to this whole "being human" thing.
Does anyone want to start a union? ok maybe not yet.
