Just like the TDM set up, Jigokucho is in recovery mode after the dissipation of a curse that befell the city. It was a full-on horror apocalypse.

The curse is gone, there are rumors stirring that the turf war has ended, and the Kappa are all going back down to work on building… something. It’s all pretty hush-hush, but anyone that’s not in the Department can ask freely about it. The Enma has bigger things to be concerned with already anyway (namely the newly named cause of the curse: Haniyasu).

So what does that mean for the next two months? Well, between whatever it is being cooked up in the Underground and everything else, the theme of these two months is Tanabata! How that celebration takes shape in a place like Jigokucho will be revealed as the month goes on, so stay tuned to find out more!

Brief Rundown: HEY THERE, HAVE YOU PLAYED INSCRYPTION? All the spoilers ahead. SO GO PLAY/WATCH THAT first, because it's a very twisty game and a great blind experience.

Still here? Okay! I did an At-A-Glance page with some Content Warnings for Leshy, so check that out! His full design is interpreted from the info in game, but there isn't really a full official design for him. He is currently missing a finger on one hand because he bet it on a knife game and lost.

Initial Ideas: Leshy is here to fuck around AND find out. He's a violent, immoral creature that just wants to play games with dire stakes. Bloody and painful stakes, most preferable. He'll take on most challenges so long as they're framed as some manner of game. ANYBODY looking for a villain/antagonist to menace your characters, consider Leshy a terrifying candidate. I

actually don't intend to keep him in game for an extended period, I very much want him to cause enough trouble that he needs to be taken out and dropped.

CR Desires: MOST CR with Leshy is going to be negative or hostile. He's capable of being remarkably violent at basically any moment, like a wild animal roaming the streets. Just a real menace to most people.

If your character can take the form of some manner of "beast", he might act with some fondness or even respect! Nobody is outside the food chain, though. He's not precious about his beasts. Beasts need to be able to survive. Leshy's kind of tough-love could swiftly prove deadly.

Who he won't be upfront hostile towards is fellow Tamamo Clan! I'm so excited he's apart of this clan because he actually holds some respect for Tenko-hime, given she's a fox. Fox are clever beasts that hide their power, so he's promised her he won't be hunting within the flock, so to speak. He might go back on that promise in time, but he'll be protective of his clanmates for a time.

So.... conceptually..... The way the Matoba curse operates is sort of like a game, in that it has certain rules it must follow and each month there's a winner or a loser to those attacks. I feel like this could be of interest to Leshy, possibly, but also

It has come up a few times in game where Matoba has shown a bit of a crazy bent while comparing situations to a hunt, or enjoying the hunt of things.

I think this could potentially be some interesting and chaotic CR that will stress all of Matoba's fam out, because sometimes he does not know when to stop LOL but I would probably want to do it after destress-July, so. Points to eyes points to Leshy. I'm keeping him in mind.

Honestly, that sounds like just something Leshy would find fascinating. Which is to say; RIP. Leshy getting fixated on anyone is definitely a bad sign.

Them meeting this month (I hope to post him at the mingle once it's up!) and then seeing if we can build up to conflict will be on my radar! Points to eyes points to Matoba!!
