LATE JUNE ANNOUCEMENTS
Announcements!
AS OF THIS LOG The cursed nightmare zone is OVER. Things returned to normal in the dead of night, and the city is free from the influence of the entity's grudge. This event will be summarized later in a Story So Far post, but for now, the log is there to read! The major takeaways are; the Entity that caused this was holding the Enma prisoner, and fled when the special dagger was stabbed into their shoulder. The "heart" of the curse was below, in the containment center, and was stabbed by Cloud. As a result, everyone is pretty banged up but Cloud is worse off, with the Enma and Daitengu joining them in recovery.
The next TDM Is going to be posted on the 24th, that is THIS FRIDAY, at 6pm CT. The cursed energy is over, but there's still clean-up to be done and other fallout to deal with, and the TDM will be focused on that. Please look forward to it!

Since the Daitengu basically just came back after "death", Emily's going to be at least somewhat worried about the boss's condition and want to find out where they are and ask the attending doctors if they need help or if something can be done - she's willing to put her healing powers and knowledge at their disposal but also know that hell docs probably know best. Basically, I'm just asking if she can help or if she'll be waved off so that later someone can return with the crowdfunded snack basket.

Unfortunately Cain, with all of the best intentions will also try to start lecturing the Enma for being all work and no play, and it would improve his and their employees life/reputation if he just maybe stopped being like that all the time, it was so hard to get people to trust that he had good intentions!
Yuuji will probably be making a break for it at this point, but the point is, will they get kicked out of the hospital? Megumi at some point has also tried to leave them and visit the Daitengu's room instead to check on them.
Also will they let the dogs in? Cain's coming in with them anyway.

They won't get kicked out for lecturing the Enma, but it will become very obvious, early on, that he is not listening to them. It's like Cain's not even there. Just complete no-sell.

As far as the Daitengu goes, they're responsive and in good spirits. They feel they shouldn't be down for more than a couple of days. In the meantime, the Elders are handling business for the Alliance, and all official stuff should be sent their way.
FATAL FRAME FOLLOWUP
On his end (I intended to have him pass the camera around so he wasn't monopolizing it, especially in combat, but Billy and Cain were focused on More Pressing Matters and I didn't realize Hu Tao used a polearm, so it was easier to justify him just wielding his sword 1-handed. Still, sorry!), Minato has been careful to film the proceedings with a steady hand, except when fighting/running/etc.
It's all in the log, but notable details would be:
The glowing red growths overtaking Kaigou no Bou
The mold cocoons that held the Enma's employees in stasis
The Daitengu in action, and their abilities in general
The shadow being at the top of the tower -- most of the final confrontation is either shakycam or extremely corrupted and distorted, due to close proximity to the being, but Minato managed to get a full shot of them when entering the Enma's office, and there's a brief glimpse of a feminine silhouette through the
vaporwavedistortion.Kamui has volunteered to help him actually edit and copy the footage, because Minato might have an ic interest in film but he's also from 1922 and from an era before "talkies", let alone digital cameras. Besides that, if any characters are interested in doing something with or analyzing the footage, please sound off and we can figure out what do from there. Minato is going to icly spend the next few weeks quietly recovering from the curse month in general, but he'll still be on his feet enough to do things.

The big thing that would be pulled from Cloud's footage that isn't on Minato's is the soldiers clad in Enma gear from the Night Parade were present in the sublevels (and subsequently attacked the basement team), but they were revealed to be Haniwa clay puppets under the masks. Like Minato, Cloud gets some good shots of the general state of the Kaigo-no-Bou during their descent, and much of the footage near the end is either shakycam due to fighting or corrupted when looking directly at the source of the corruption on the lower levels.

I guess most importantly the nature of the cursed being's aura but he might also be looking carefully at whatever was holding the people in the tower in stasis?)
Also he intends to let him keep the sword if he wants it; he'll try to clear that with the Daitengu/whoever runs the kappa armory. He deserves it, right!?
