April Event Plotting

We realize we're doing this sort of backwards, but after some discussion and requests from players, we figure it's better late than never for a centralized plotting post for the event! Again, apologies for our growing pains, but we hope y'all are understanding.

Here's a breakdown summary of every prompt on the event;

Hanami The Sutoku Alliance has arranged for spectral cherry blossom trees for flower viewing, offering all kinds of food and drink to enjoy. The foods tend to be "enhanced" with peace/love inducing feelings, but they don't have to be. The spectral trees are a little creepy, if examined too closely.

Kanamura The Tamamo's foods from the mini-event are back, and are taking all kinds of cheeky forms. Sexy foods, but do not strictly need to lead to sexy times.

Hadaka - The Department of the Enma is allowing a naked endurance race, folks packed together in basically nothing, chasing after a mobile shrine and trying to grab luck sticks. Ostensibly it's for blowing off steam. May actually generate steam.

Sumo - The Shuten Clan is hosting sumo fights, and rules are expected to be followed. Shuten representatives are also expected to win any match they participate in, less they lose some pay. The prizes for winning are special sake gourds that enhance the flaovor of any drink contained within.

Food Runners - Need extra cash? Do some food running, with some extremely difficult to manage delivery gear. But the pay's good!

Bathhouse Orgy - As promised, the Tamamo have opened up their bathhouses on the route up for free-for-all fuckin'. All manner of kinks will be provided for, and some of the bathhouses will have transparency glamours cast on them to allow shows to be put on. This is the horniest prompt, by far.

Floats - Help carry elaborate lantern floats depicting huge dioramas of famous mythological events throughout Japan's history, though the depicted heroes and villains seem to be reversed...

Fireworks - Explains itself, but the fireworks are especially fantastic since they're largely created by magic, rather than simply pyrotechnics.

The assassination - The Daitengu will be assassinated in the outcome of the underground machine causing a massive cloud of steam to flood the entire parade route. Panic will ensure, and black-suited youkai will clash with the White Wolf Guard, eventually succeeding in killing the Daitengu

Character Name: rengoku kyojuro (enbashira)
Canon: kimetsu no yaiba (demon slayer)
Faction: enma
Brief Rundown: incredibly loud, incredibly positive, incredibly powerful! at times it looks like he never blinks. rengoku is the flame hashira (or pillar) of the demon slayer corps, an organization that has existed since ancient times and is dedicated to protecting humanity from demons. he is a master swordsman and capable of using techniques associated with flame breathing! (so basically a lot of fire stuff) personality-wise, he is very Weird... he tends to deliver all his words in a very cheerful, loud tone, and is a total foodie. however, he is incredibly loyal, friendly, and dedicated to helping others. he's a really good guy!

Initial Ideas: i'm probably not going to put up a general top level for this event, and would rather stick with writing private starters or tagging in!

having said that, i think what i would be most interested in for this guy would be hanami, kanamura, food runners, fireworks, and getting involved with trying to help people during the assassination plot. he would definitely feel a need to help save others with that - for the other prompts, being the foodie that he is, i think he would happily run food to other people or try new foods with the hanami. fireworks are a must for a festival, so he would be happy to watch those! i would also be down for the bathhouse orgy, although i think it would be difficult to convince him to even recognize that it is a place for sex and not for, well, bathing, until he sees what's going on.

Faction: enma
Brief Rundown: sporting shiba inu ears and tail, gorou is the general of the watatsumi island resistance in genshin impact! while he doesn't have a ton of experience, still being fairly young, he is courageous, reliable, and definitely a leader that his men feel they can put their trust in. to quote the official website, he is "deeply trusted by his subordinates and is someone with whom you can share your feelings without shame." he also has an extra "job" at yae publishing house as a columnist in a magazine, offering suggestions to those that write in to share their troubles. he also loves mountaineering!

Initial Ideas: as said above, i'm probably not going to put up a general top level for this event, and would rather stick with writing private starters or tagging in!

for gorou, i think hanami and kanamura would be cute for him - he would especially enjoy the hanami because i think it would give him memories of home. he would absolutely (mostly) ignore the hadaka race unless someone challenged him to it, and i think he would find sumo fascinating to watch (or help) but wouldn't really participate. so those are all options! he would stay away from the bathhouse, so that's out (doesn't want anyone touching his tail or ears for mischief)...he might startle at the fireworks, but would enjoy them for what they are. with the assassination, i think he would be more aggressive about trying to organize things or route people to safety, so very happy to involve him there.

Anything else: both have permissions in their journals, i'm good with gen prompts or nsfw prompts! new CR is good, or expanding on established CR is also very much welcome - even if we have a thread going now, i'm cool with adding another as well, or fading out the other, whatever you'd like. also, if you'd just like me to tag into your top level in general but don't have specific ideas, i'm down with that too! just hit me with a link once you've got it up and i will happily tag in. ♥ otherwise, i'm happy to write private starters if you have a specific idea.

i've been a bit slow due to starting a brand new job, but with a little bit of an adjustment period, my tags should become more regular. sorry to those who have waited and are waiting, i appreciate your patience and understanding so much!
