jigokuooc | April Event Plotting

We realize we're doing this sort of backwards, but after some discussion and requests from players, we figure it's better late than never for a centralized plotting post for the event! Again, apologies for our growing pains, but we hope y'all are understanding.

Here's a breakdown summary of every prompt on the event;
Hanami The Sutoku Alliance has arranged for spectral cherry blossom trees for flower viewing, offering all kinds of food and drink to enjoy. The foods tend to be "enhanced" with peace/love inducing feelings, but they don't have to be. The spectral trees are a little creepy, if examined too closely.
Kanamura The Tamamo's foods from the mini-event are back, and are taking all kinds of cheeky forms. Sexy foods, but do not strictly need to lead to sexy times.
Hadaka - The Department of the Enma is allowing a naked endurance race, folks packed together in basically nothing, chasing after a mobile shrine and trying to grab luck sticks. Ostensibly it's for blowing off steam. May actually generate steam.
Sumo - The Shuten Clan is hosting sumo fights, and rules are expected to be followed. Shuten representatives are also expected to win any match they participate in, less they lose some pay. The prizes for winning are special sake gourds that enhance the flaovor of any drink contained within.
Food Runners - Need extra cash? Do some food running, with some extremely difficult to manage delivery gear. But the pay's good!
Bathhouse Orgy - As promised, the Tamamo have opened up their bathhouses on the route up for free-for-all fuckin'. All manner of kinks will be provided for, and some of the bathhouses will have transparency glamours cast on them to allow shows to be put on. This is the horniest prompt, by far.
Floats - Help carry elaborate lantern floats depicting huge dioramas of famous mythological events throughout Japan's history, though the depicted heroes and villains seem to be reversed...
Fireworks - Explains itself, but the fireworks are especially fantastic since they're largely created by magic, rather than simply pyrotechnics.
The assassination - The Daitengu will be assassinated in the outcome of the underground machine causing a massive cloud of steam to flood the entire parade route. Panic will ensure, and black-suited youkai will clash with the White Wolf Guard, eventually succeeding in killing the Daitengu

Brief Rundown:

here's his info post (and opt-in post for his magical sensing!!) but basically shylock is a wizard from the west, and those westerns are wacky as all hell and he's no exemption lol. he's a classy, flirty guy who's very calm and collected in most situations -- seriously nothing fazes him for the most part. he works as a bartender in canon and in tamamo he's still working as one in various bars in order to build up rapport to one day establish his own place here so stay tuned!

Initial Ideas: im crying bc his canon is doing youkai au this april fools and guess what youkai shylock ended up becoming LMAO. he'll be wearing something like this at the festivities -- sans the ears and tail unfortunately but it just proves that he really is tamamo-coded hehehe

hanami he'll watch cherry blossoms! he'll think they're beautiful and iirc they don't exist in his world (only in the april fools aus where cherry blossoms are always Significant fsr) so he'd love to listen to folklore and stuff surrounding it.

kanamura delivery service also copying rinne here and!! instead of having shylock deliver he'd like to be the one to make the drinks and have various people do that for him! i've been referencing this list of fantasy drinks that youkai clientele would consume and deliverypeople are free to react on the whimsical or disgusting menu! he's also been tasked by tenkohime himself to make the ideal cocktail for the festival so look forward to that!

bartending also to elaborate on that previous point, shylock will be manning one of the mini bars of one of the establishments he's working at so feel free to visit him for a drink and to shoot the shit, mayhaps... his stuff may be laced with the usual tamamo stuff tho so lmk if you don't want any of that in your charas drinks.

bathhouse id be open to this! m/m, m/f, 21+ since he's actually super old. shylock is a shameless flirt and would be down for a lot of things, though for this time around im leaning more to ftb if it's our first time threading 🙇‍♂️🙇‍♂️

floats and fireworks shylock will be watching those! he will be quite amused at watching humans be oppressed as depicted on the floats despite being from another world, and it really is too bad he doesn't have all his magic back bc he too can conjure fireworks u_u maybe at some point he would've bought a kiseru pipe (or maybe regain his very own?? i havent decided yet) but either way he will be taking drags and he'll look sexy doing it, nods.

assassination RIP DAITENGU....... this is also the worst time to be reduced as a humanlike thing, rip. shylock will do his best to help people to safety, however!

Two things Blair:

1) I want Natori to source his drink deliveries from Shylock and have to hang out by his bar like a door dash minion waiting for his order to get out

and

2) Natori got some ridiculous glasses that I think he could aesthetically pull off, but also he doesn't know how to style himself. This isn't necessarily event related I just wanna know if Shylock can stylize

2) IM CRYING ISNT HE A MOVIE STAR.... then again natori lets his makeup artists take care of that, huh. shylock will find his new glasses cute in a ridic nerd way but he'll do his best to make natori look sexy, yes

AND 3) he's also going to tease natori about the paper bag on his head like king don't be shy...... is it the glasses

1. No he's given up, just every time I go to a restaurant there's always like 3 guys hanging out in the doorway waiting for their orders to come out and I feel like that's gotta be represented in my pretendy fun times

2. They pay people to dress him, when he's left on his own it's just a closet full of neutrals so he can fall asleep in them and still look mildly okay if he has to run out. Please help, you be the artist and he'll be the canvas
