Hizen is tsukumogami-- a sword spirit. He's tired, prickly, direct, very rough around the edges, and in general not a very pleasant person. He's only had a human form and feelings for a short amount of time so he's easily overwhelmed emotionally. Hizen regards himself as more of a tool than an actual person but... he's learning.
Hizen is a skilled assassin and specializes in dirty work. All sword boys are good boys but because of certain self-esteem issues, he's convinced no one would ever believe him if he tried to be good. He's highly food motivated and gets weak whenever someone acknowledges him with basic human compassion and respect.
Initial Ideas: GAMBLING PROBLEM Hizen will actually be a good Shuten and wear his suit and pin for the grand opening. He's not particularly amazing at gambling but he practiced with the rest of the clan and can carry himself through some of the games now (including cheating). That said, he's going to try sticking to bouncer duty because he knows he's a better fighter than gambler.
TANABATA As with every festival, Hizen is here to eat, drink, and have a good time. I'd love to play around with the love effects a little? Hizen is painfully tsundere and will be missing some of his friends from home to the point he miiiiiight even make a wish for them. Maybe. He doesn't want to be sentimental. I'd like to use this prompt to share some lore and develop new/current cr, though!

Hizen's recreated Ryouma's historical assassinations enough times that he really doesn't want to see a new version of it!? Hizen is going to have a one track mind and try to get to the stage as quickly as possible.
