Doms Wanted! One of the numerous BDSM clubs owned by the Tamamo clan needs help training staff. Their doms are too submissive and have problems saying just what’s needed to tickle their clients’ fancy. Come train them up to be properly aggressive so they can humiliate their clients and so that the club will survive! You’ll be rewarded for your help, of course.	High Definition There are posters around town advertising a hefty reward for participating in drug testing. If you choose to go to the advertised location, you will be given one of three drugs by a gyokuto, which looks identical to your average rabbit. The drugs have effects ranging from mild visual and auditory hallucinations, impaired judgment and poor coordination, and blindness. You will be sent back out into the city after the administration of the drug and will only be paid upon returning to the clinic the next day to report your experiences. Look at this sweet jacket A man needs help crossing one of the river bridges where he keeps being attacked. He’s convinced it’s because of a cool jacket he’s wearing that makes him irresistible to haters – but the truth is that it’s the hashihime that work and take care of the bridges around town. He’s a nuisance and they want him off the damn bridge. Help the man or help the hashihime, it’s up to you. Both will pay you.	Welcome to the Night Parade (plot-relevant) Characters are tasked with preparing for the Night Parade: setting up decorations, making sure businesses have their sponsorships lined up, training for security, planning the parade route and, of course, making sure no one is bringing any contraband to the event. The Night Parade is an important neutral event and the leaders of every clan want to ensure there are no agitators or violent incidents. The Kappa in particular want to keep Lost Souls from doing inspections on their part of the parade route; they don’t trust them to have anything to do with the city’s utilities.

substory 2: is it possible to just get the drug?

substory 4: re. contrabands, how would the newbs get info about this and what avenues can they pursue them? what kind of contrabands have been traditionally brought into the parade? how are the belligerents punished?

can the kappa be appeased with forms of bribery or no?

2; If you mean from outside the rabbits? No, the drugs aren't on the street, and won't be in any amount worth selling, anyways.

4; Contraband is less a concern, since weapons are not difficult to get a hold of in town regardless, and more agitators looking to stir trouble (though the possession of weapons is considered a sign of that, so that can be something used as an excuse to stop someone). As far as punishments go, it generally depends on who catches them, as you can read in the premise page that each Faction have differing means in that area.

The Kappa collectively cannot be bribed, however, since they are part of the Sutoku Alliance, they may be more willing to listen to members of that Faction.

For Look at This Sweet Jacket, BECAUSE THIS COULD HAPPEN WITH DAY: Will one or either of them be open to the idea of a 1v1 if it gets suggested whether seriously or jokingly...

For Welcome to the Night Parade, when you mention the Kappa not wanting Lost Souls to do inspections on their parade route, how will they make this known? Outright telling them if they try to do their job, stalling/distracting them with other tasks or the Horrors of Bureaucracy?

1) The guy with the jacket, less so. The hashihime, probably very. To be honest, most people in this town are willing to throw down if prompted.

2) They will straight up have it blocked off and new Lost Souls will be stopped at the entrance and told to go somewhere else.

Just checking, since the Kappa don't want anyone coming into their territory, are there any statements from the rest of the Sutoku alliance? (i.e. would general faction leadership tell them to stay out of the way or are there some people that would encourage inter-alliance sneakiness?)

Will the Kappa accept help in keeping people away from the sewers?

Also this is more of a general question: how well does tagging go over? If a character spray-painted hints or signals how long would they last and how strongly punishable is leaving it?

The official word from the Daitengu will be to respect the Kappa's decision, so as not to put tension in the alliance. Unofficially, Alliance leadership would really *not like* if you were sneaking around in there.

While a character may be in the Alliance, the Kappa still don't want them around, even if it's to keep others back. They just straight up don't want people poking around there. Just tickles the curiosity, doesn't it?

re; Tagging. They'll definitely assume new, unfamiliar graffiti is from a fresh Lost Soul, but they'll have trouble telling who it is, so it's definitely possible to evade punishment.

Re: substory 2, would it be possible to talk with the gyokuto about where they got their materials for the new drug and make any headway particularly if offering them a favor in return for the info? Emily's miffed about losing her entire stock of medicines and wants to figure out where someone can start getting supplies to make new ones for more specialized problems.

She will not be willing to share her formula until she's further along in the testing phase. BUT if she gets the impression Emily knows what she's talking about, she might talk to her later!

So, a few things!

For Look at this sweet jacket, how open are the man and the hashihime to negotiating? If they're both willing to pay, he'd probably turn down the payment anyway and suggest either the man pay the hashihime to let him pass or the hashihime to pay the man to quit doing whatever's annoying them. How well do you suppose that would go over?

For Welcome to the Night Parade, Ryouma is going to be super interested in the Kappa (and want to know more about the Kappa's grievances in general either with the other members of the Alliance or other factions), so what would happen if he keeps pestering them lmao? Is there anything that he could do or find out that might help him improve his standing with them? He'll probably point out that he's interested because he's interested and not because the Alliance put him up to it (whether they do or not), for whatever that's worth.

1) Ryouma will probably lose hair trying to mediate this. Hashihime are passionately petty, and the jacket man seems to seat the whole of his pride in, well. His jacket. So he can attempt, but his odds of success are basically none, and he might just end up on the shitlist of both.

2) If he bugs the Kappa enough, they will definitely get violent and just try to throw him in the river to get ride of him. Thankfully, they will not try to steal his ass pearl

Related to High Definition: Do the drugs have a weaker effect on people with a high tolerance, or does it ignore that? And if the effect is weaker, would the rabbits be willing to give more to someone who needs it?

The gyokuto's formula must use stuff that can only be found in Hell because Harrier's stoutness will do him no favors here; it will be just as potent as it would be on anyone else.

for the night parade, is it possible to bribe other yokai into gathering info on the kappa for you? or would any other yokai be chatty about what the kappa might be up to, or their theories?

if aerith asked other tamamo clan members about it, would there be any more information?

are there any repercussions for people who demand to speak to the manager in substory two, high definition? aerith wants to reenact the he asked for no pickles meme but its he asked for no side effects instead.

1) A Sutoku Alliance youkai with shaky loyalty would probably be the most effective, but the information is not going to be super useful. They'll tell Aerith the kappa are up to something, but they have no idea what it is. Most people will assume it's a big surprise for the parade.

2) The gyokuto is the manager, and Aerith will find that she is incredibly... odd. Even by hell standards this woman is a little strange and will probably not give Aerith the reaction she's looking for, and might even try to study her.

Substory #3 question

In substory 3, is there any way to get that dude to give up that sweet jacket? Inquiring minds want to know! Totally not asking because Dante wants to yoink it

By force or by a fat stack of money, Dante might be able to just get that jacket.

HOWEVER, in possession of the jacket, Dante will have inherited the ire, and thus make an enemy of the Hashihime tribe (and possible sour impressions with the Sutoku Alliance)

For Substory #2, is the gyokuto giving out drugs to Lost Souls only, or would you find stoned NPCs wandering around as well after taking the drug? How would she react to someone showing up and telling her this was very irresponsible behavior?

For Substory #3, would the hashihime be willing to talk about why they were mad at this dude in the first place. Did he just stand on the bridge staring at his jacket's reflection in the water for a long time. Inquiring minds want to know.

Aaaand for Substory #4, what could a Lost Soul member of the Sutoku Alliance find out about the Forbidden Utilities? Like, not even necessarily what the Kappa are up to, if that info would be hard to get. But what are the utilities that are even at risk in the cover story?

For substory 2:

- What would the gyokuto's answer be if someone asked what these drugs were even under development for? Does she seem to have any kind of faction affiliation herself, or does she seem to be an independent agent?

- What happens if someone tries to pick her up and pet her while their judgement is impaired?

For substory 3:

- If your PC was helping fancy jacket man and ran into another PC helping the hashihime, would they accept a PC vs PC representative brawl to decide the matter? If not and they ended up in a 1v1 against a hashihime, would it be more or less an even match?

- Could one theoretically get fancy jacket man drunk and convince him to trade his fancy jacket in for a jacket you tell him is even cooler. Would that fix the problem at all.

A question about substory 3! It says the hashihime wants Jackie (I'm naming him Jackie) to get off and stay off their bridges... but what about going under the bridge?

Asking because I was checking out the page and it mentions married couples being able to escape it by going underneath by boat and I'm just wondering if that translates over here or not...

Don't ask me how we're getting Jackie under the bridge. We'll figure it out when we get there sdfghjkl

-Between matters of the hashihime and the jacket man, which one will pay more in terms of the reward?

-Let's say someone decides to take the jacket even though it will capture the hashime's wrath. Will the hashihime accept a trade? Let's say, what if someone perhaps throws the guy into the lake for them to handle before the jacket is taken into personal possession?

-Is it safe to assume these bridges are going over the river Sanzu? >:D

For Doms Wanted!, is there any particular reason why the doms have issues or we're free to make it up based on whatever we like?

popping back in to ask another question! this one's about substory 3: is it possible to get the guy to relinquish his jacket by claiming it's cursed, or coming up with a story for why the hashihime wants it?

there's consequences for nabbing the jacket, but what about giving it to the hashihime?

speaking of, is there anything about the jacket that ties it to the hashihime? 👀

This is more of a passive thing but!! Helping out with the parade set up and everything, I assume characters will have a chance to work with/run across some of their NPC faction buddies. With each faction wanting to make sure the parade goes without any problems I'm basically wondering,

1. What do the other factions think about the kappa being cagey?
2. Is this affecting any relations between the factions? For example, rumors, gossip, complaints, concerns, etc? Is anyone running their mouths at the bars?

Basically, is this affecting the mood leading up to the parade at all? Just something I might want to make note of in a couple of tags as we get closer to the Dawn of the Final Day.

Hi mods! Matoba is snooping around the network and saw the discussion about the possibility of the Kappa's supply route here referencing that there might be wards and spells put up to keep meddlers out! His interest is piqued and he wants to take a look at them, as they are one of his specialties.

1) Are there any to begin with!

2) I've already seen that even Sutoku members will be turned away from investigating what's going on, but will the Kappa be more willing to interact with Sutoku members who are giving them a heads up on details about other clans' Lost Souls trying to snoop around? Are they willing to negotiate at all, for information? (He assumes the clan leaders already can see, but hey)

3) Since he's knowledgeable in this area, can he identify the type of spell used? He is interested in possibly a trade of information here as well- even if he can't currently use them himself, he could offer them spell circles/wards from his own library to help protect their interests, as a show of good will and cooperation.
