Jigokucho's Mr. Libido Adult businesses throughout the city have been reporting a nearly naked man dancing outside their storefronts and harassing customers. Store employees can’t deal with him because he runs every time they take a step outside. They need your help to catch this pervert and make sure he doesn’t come back. Careful, he may think you’re like him and take a shine to you instead! You might not want to hear what kind of lurid talk he’s open to a friend about… Please help rid Jigokucho of this tighty-whitey clad menace!

It's very time consuming The diamond-encrusted watch was sold to a pawn shop many months ago, against its original owner’s will. Before it could be reclaimed, however, it was stolen from the pawn shop. Before the thief could sell it, however, it was lost down a storm drain where it was later found by a slacking isonade, who was shanked by a Shuten long before it could be gifted to the shark’s favorite courtesan. The Shuten who picked it up had it lifted right off his wrist on a streetcar. And so it goes, the fancy watch leaves a trail of misfortune and loss in its wake, and never seems to stay with one owner for long. Where has it ended up this time? (Submitted by meowjima)	It's in the stars... (plot-relevant) With things seeming to get back to normal, there are preparations that need to be made for the next citywide festival: Tanabata! A little competition is being held between the factions to collect as much “Stardust” as possible in the lead up to the festival. “Stardust” is a magical fragment of the heavens that has fallen to the city at night. There are rewards for those who gather the most up, but exposure to a lot of Stardust can have some interesting effects. It increases the feelings of joy and satisfaction one gets from indulging in one’s desires; be it fighting, fucking, gambling, drinking, dancing, singing, or even just quiet meditation. No wonder this stuff is so valuable and everyone’s trying to get their hands on it. Are you going to collect it for your faction, or are you going to try to sell it off to people in town who just want to vibe? Don’t get caught hawking the stuff by your faction, if so!

So... I know there's some recognition of the famous yokai who have appeared in various forms... What about someone on the Celestials side?

Chang'e is a name some Celestials will recognize, but their strongest association is with the Moon which is kind of it's own thing. Chang'e, Kaguya-hime, the moon rabbits, they're all kind of off in their own world, alien even to other pure beings.

That being said, a certain medicine making rabbit woman NPC will definitely know who they are, when they show up again.

For the Gyokuto? Possibly. She's a weird one, even by Lunar standards.

The effects one gets from general exposure will intensify greatly. You will get a certain "high" from it. You will more intimately understand why this stuff's valuable.

What does Stardust actually look like? Just what you'd imagine (sparkly white glitter), or...?

Does more fall on successive nights, or only the one time?

About how much is enough for the effects to take place?

1) It's pretty much what you'd imagine, though it is a bit more... chunky. Imagine the star fragments from Animal Crossing or Breath of the Wild, something like that, but easy to collect a few in your hand.

2) They only appear around this time of year, which is why they're associated with Tanabata in Jigokucho.

3) We'll say about a handful is all you need to start Feeling It, and more than that it will become harder to just ignore and move on.

I know both of those games and thank you for the response, but I can now only imagine them as sparkly konpeito because I know in my heart and soul that half of Sutoku is going to be cramming it into their mouth. it's the neath-snow in fallen london all over again.

How does one actually collect Stardust? Does it collect on the ground like snow or something?

It can be found anywhere! Whether there are small piles of it on the ground, collected in little nooks and crannies, anywhere one might think to look there's at least some possibility of finding some. Given it glows, gently, it's not even that hard to spot.

Oh... that's cute! I saw on the post above that it looks kind of like star fragments... I'm imagining something like konpeito?

Yep! They have a very candy-like look to them.

Probably shouldn't eat them, still.

What happens when the effects of Stardust start to wear off? Are there any after effects?

A general lethargy, headaches, nothing terribly severe.
