Cursed City - To be frank, Promare is not a canon that lends itself that well to bringing out the horrors of the deeper psyche, though certainly Lio does fear his own death by "burning away" aka becoming ash. It happens to Burnish who expend their flames and die. So seeing his own limbs ash away would probably make him feel a way. He's also ripe for reacting to others horror!
