Welcome Lost Souls! And also, welcome to this round's group of new players!

What's on the plate for this month? Well there's the Substories for this month you can get started on. Generally, the city is still recovering from the disastrous ending of the Night Parade last month. Clean up has been going well, but unfortunately the ongoing turf war over The Underground between the Tamamo and Shuten clans has kept tensions from winding down. On top of that, the Daitengu crashed their own funeral and implicated the Enma as being responsible, in some way, for the incident as well as their "assassination". Things are pretty chaotic!

And what's with this sudden infection of mysterious Haniwa figurines happening now? One can't help but wonder if this isn't coincidence...

What's gonna happen? Stay tuned and find out...

Brief Rundown:

Background | Majima is a Tokyo yakuza who arguably managed to piss off his boss (really, he was set up) and was disappeared to a black site where he was tortured for a year. Once they let him out, he was kept as a civilian pet in rival yakuza territory. He's very depressed and traumatized. He's coming to you from Slumscape, which was traumatizing in its own right. That does also mean he's actually very familiar with yokai and has his own. His yokai is an Uwabami (snake) by the name of Chijoku. Joku is a little bit of shit stirrer, but for the most part Majima's well-being is his well-being and he mostly just wants to eat and drink all the time.

Majima is an excellent fighter and while he understands yakuza life and is behind it, he has a real problem with civilians being roped in to a life they did not sign up for. He does not like to see women and children victimized. He will help people out of total exasperation for their problems, like can't y'all get your lives together? Overall he's very about loyalty and honor.

He does go crazy from being pushed too far by his abusive overlords at the end of Yakuza 0. He almost hit that point in Slumscape but was saved by love and friendship. For the moment, he's calm. But there is a batshit berserker in there if you push his buttons. (...eyeglances at Nishitani)

🐍 Vend Me A Dream - I bet you at the start of this he points at her and is like "This better not be about porn" and then all the way at the end he just glares.
🐍 Swipe Left - Sure, he signed up. He is from the 80s so his internet usage is not natural. Please don't call him a boomer!!!!
🐍 Haniwhat? - SIGH. Look. He is probably going to accidentally break one. (Shut up, Gojyo.) How about if Chijoku takes over while Majima is busy in his nightmare coma? Who wants to go drinking with the snake.

Character Age: 28 - (We... genuinely don't know how long Yharnam has been looping, so who knows really. She looks 28.)
Faction: Tamamo
Brief Rundown:

App (See for Bloodborne 101) | Anna went to Yharnam looking for a cure for her younger sister's illness. She ended up drawn into the order of Hunters instead. She never went back to her sister, something she obviously has huge regret about. Especially with the way everything turned out in Yharnam........ She's extremely jaded after learning about the many numbers of lies and manipulations that were perpetrated on the people of Yharnam. She does not trust easily and is only moved by the most unassuming of personalities.

Anna's seen a lot of horrible things and is deeply, deeply traumatized. Bloodborne horror is of the body and cosmic variety, so she is definitely just a touch insane from everything that has happened. She can be quite difficult to connect with because she's... not always that present in the moment.

Bloodborne takes places in a looping nightmare where you fight the same monsters over and over again, so Anna is very efficient at murder. She is a whip user, and even without her magical buffs she is very fast and deadly.

General
🌔 Anna direly needs to be cleaned up. I am very specifically looking for anyone who wants to spend a very long time combing her hair (and obviously talk to her...)
🌔 Also interested in anyone who wants to take her clothes shopping. Literally everything she owns smells like death.
🌔 Tl;dr this feral cat needs some very serious TLC to make her Tamamo presentable.

Substories
🌔 Vend Me A Dream - She's very agile and could be running rooftops looking for shit. I could see her either helping someone else that way. Or running into other rooftop couriers and chatting them up for intel, trades?
🌔 Moon Medicine - I'd be interested in the cold mochi is anyone wants to be cuddled up on by a frowny feral cat.
🌔 Swipe Left - She has no conception of a cell phone, at all. Someone show her and help her make a profile?
🌔 Haniwhat? - Anna's insight is pretty low right now for nerfs, but she will definitely be someone saying Don't Touch That.

CR Desires:

General
🌔 She hangs out on the rooftops *a lot*, if you are also a rooftop skulker, lemme know.
🌔 Needs to be shown how to do things other than murder.
🌔 But also if you need muscle to run collections with: boy is she your gal.
🌔 Anna is very reticent. She responds well to other damaged people who are also pretty quiet.
🌔 She's hair trigger on violence, especially monstrous yokai are on her radar a lot and she will often need to be told to stand down.
🌔 Would love to spar with other fighters, but she plays pretty rough.
🌔 Is used to having a healing potion on hand all the time, would be interested in that.

Filth
🌔 Anna is very extremely unemotional about sex. It's nice when it's nice. F/M/* 20+ Prefers other fighters and other people equally unemotional about sex. But uuuh I'm a filth lord, I'll try whatever.
🌔 While Tamamo, she is very not about being seen as a prostitute so... Definitely don't proposition her that way.

I didn’t tag Anna on the tdm (for some reason? Just forgot, I guess) but seeing you ask “what happens if you kill the isonade” made me immediately think “ah, this might be interesting CR” because I had considered asking the very same question. Bulleta is a hunter too, and well, Hunters gonna hunt.

Bulleta has kinda the opposite of a reticent personality (though her cover persona is pretty shy and meek) but still I’d be interested in bouncing them off one another if you’d be down!

Anna has definitely met people with the 'acceptable' facade while underneath they are batshit crazy.... so she is unlikely to trust Bulleta at face value and probably expect her to turn on her at any moment. Wheeze. Which is not a dynamic I'm opposed to, just throwing it out there that Anna is extremely untrusting.

That said, Sholmes is not exactly the quiet type laughs… but a clash of personalities still might prove interesting if they’re in the middle of a substory related thread. Vending machine fetch quest maybe?

Anna sounds super interesting and I'd love to have some CR with her but I just wanna check in first if Kimmuriel's a lil TOO nonhuman for her tastes and would provoke the violence response? He's pretty humanoid apart from pointed ears/skintone but I didn't want to just throw out a tag and accidentally put you on the spot!

OK! I took a look at your app and the wiki. Kimmuriel shouldn't set off her ELDRITCH HORROR radar, so while she would be wary and untrusting she shouldn't jump straight to 'that needs to fucking die'.
