Welcome Lost Souls! And also, welcome to this round's group of new players!

What's on the plate for this month? Well there's the Substories for this month you can get started on. Generally, the city is still recovering from the disastrous ending of the Night Parade last month. Clean up has been going well, but unfortunately the ongoing turf war over The Underground between the Tamamo and Shuten clans has kept tensions from winding down. On top of that, the Daitengu crashed their own funeral and implicated the Enma as being responsible, in some way, for the incident as well as their "assassination". Things are pretty chaotic!

And what's with this sudden infection of mysterious Haniwa figurines happening now? One can't help but wonder if this isn't coincidence...

What's gonna happen? Stay tuned and find out...

Character Name: Guts
Canon: Berserk
Character Age: late 20s
Faction: Shuten
Brief Rundown: Guts is a mercenary/swordsman/demon killer from a dark dark DARK fantasy world. He comes off like an asshole 99% of the time but he's actually a pretty decent guy once you get past it. Lots of damage in there, though, so some of the prickle has some bite. Also, he's missing his left forearm and his right eye so... there's that.

Initial Ideas: Someone might have just lost his beloved traveling party and he's going to be a little lonely and acting like he doesn't care and he doesn't need anyone; he's just here to do a job. Close CR will take time with him, and he's going to fight it every inch, but I am okay with plotting and setting things up and getting some stuff going. He's going to be all business but giving him someone to look out for would be great.

CR Desires: Coworkers and friends. 'Apprentices'/sidekicks/youngersmallerlessexperienceds to look out for even if he grouses about it. The ship (haha) has very much sailed on romance to a very specific port so not really looking (though always willing to entertain the possibility as long as you're okay with glacial movement).

Anything else: His permissions are on his journal but the big one is 'don't touch him without permission or he is going to react HARD. Permissions re: threading WITH him are on there too: fair warning he's like a walking trigger warning so lemme know if there's something to avoid for you but I'll do my best to warn.

WELCOME TO SHUTEN, SCRUB.... but not really because I'm sure he'll be fine.

Hizen here is in Shuten, too. He's pretty prickly and bad at talking/dealing with people but while he's not trying to make friends, he's trying to be... decent. So they can probably run into each other and we can see how they go haha. Hizen is allergic to friendly people so Guts might actually end up OK in his book. Maybe.
