interest check for newbie network post (Tamamo only!)
This is an interest check for an Orientation network post briefing the newbies joining Tamamo this app cycle! Here is an example from Musashi previously, but there was some discussion on Discord to try and open the opportunity to more junior members. (But a lot of people are not on Discord, so to keep that in mind, I made this post!)
The players of Aster, Mizuki, Owen (and possibly some others I missed) have volunteered, so the idea is someone (Aster’s player?) makes the main post and includes a “speeches” toplevel for other volunteers to give their introductory speeches. I’m imagining a group-presentation-like situation.
Please comment below if your character would volunteer to brief the newbies! The IC theme of this is “give the younger/greener members leadership experience”, but senior and established members are still welcome.

- Format: Network post.
- How your character gets into this: Musashi’s player has stated that Musashi will not be forcing anyone, so ideally your character volunteers. Yizhi can get the Mizukume to offer restaurant vouchers as a bribe/reward or something if you want lol
- What to talk about: Stuff like what your character thinks Tamamo is about, what your character would say to new Lost Souls to help them settle into the faction better, etc.. This is only a guideline, feel free to do something else if you have other ideas! There is also the previous orientation by Musashi linked above if you want a reference.
- Number of volunteers: I suggest capping it at 8-10 people, but anyone can still tag-into the post and give their own two cents, respond to new Lost Souls with advice, or judge the speech-givers! The post will still be open to all. This is like, “do you want to do a class presentation during Open Day to show the parents what you’ve been doing”.

also he'll totally just be like 'ah yes hello newbies you better not disrespect Tenkohime or your superiors or I'll suck you dry in the unsexy way. otherwise be freaky with permish, live your best life, don't murder each other' but if there's anything that i oocly need to be aware of covering please let me know, this is my first time playing such a hustler so my dumb ass doesn't think about the sort of shit that Faction Mingles might require...

Tbh I don't think there's any official talking points? But based off the last round of such posts, I remember all of them ended up mentioning 1) who the ranked members are (1,2 and 3 stars), 2) that there's a shiny faction pin you're supposed to wear to faction events. Feel free to use or not use these talking points, if Aster can't fit these into his presentation it just means someone else can jump in! Also I dunno how feasible #1 is anymore since we probably have a Lot more ranked members now :P
EDIT: OH I THOUGHT OF SOMETHING! It would be good to mention in an ooc note that the post is a minglelog and so threadjacking is fine, just to be clear! Many people seem to know this but my dumb ass is also like "but what if this time it's not ok and they get annoyed at me", so yeah, why not. We both be dumb here.
I also wanna say that if Aster chooses to do his post in the Mizukume, he can get a cool setup if he wants! Yizhi can probably find some plush couch for him to lounge sexily on or whatever fits his intended vibe- he probably won't be into it but he continues to respect the hustle, as is their two-cats-in-a-room vibe HAHAHA

she'll probably piggyback a bit off of aster's points and emphasize the clan's aspects of self-expression, charisma and love, that kind of thing. making the pitch that it's a good and pretty supportive space to just get whatever baggage you have figured out. there'd probably be a slight counter to how aster leaned into the hornier aspects, bringing up that yeah yeah the clan has kind of a reputation but nobody's gonna twist your arm about the steamier jobs, either. the whole thing's about autonomy and it can be pretty great!

If needed, and if Mizuki decides to record from the Mizukume, she can get props from Yizhi (who works there). Aster is most likely demanding some kind of flashy background too which potentially can be shared, if he’s willing!
