1) We'd only do it going forward from when it's implemented. Retroactive implementation feels like it would create a lot of sudden work for everyone, both on players part and ours.

2) SO! We talked about it, and while we think we'd be cool with substory related inbox threads being used for rewards, anything else (but especially plot relevant threadS) we'd prefer to come from the comms themselves. With plot, especially, we just want as much of that to exist in the general public space of the game as possible. Substories exist more in the "fun things to do" sphere and thus we have no qualms with those coming from inboxes.
