jigokuooc | April Event Plotting

We realize we're doing this sort of backwards, but after some discussion and requests from players, we figure it's better late than never for a centralized plotting post for the event! Again, apologies for our growing pains, but we hope y'all are understanding.

Here's a breakdown summary of every prompt on the event;
Hanami The Sutoku Alliance has arranged for spectral cherry blossom trees for flower viewing, offering all kinds of food and drink to enjoy. The foods tend to be "enhanced" with peace/love inducing feelings, but they don't have to be. The spectral trees are a little creepy, if examined too closely.
Kanamura The Tamamo's foods from the mini-event are back, and are taking all kinds of cheeky forms. Sexy foods, but do not strictly need to lead to sexy times.
Hadaka - The Department of the Enma is allowing a naked endurance race, folks packed together in basically nothing, chasing after a mobile shrine and trying to grab luck sticks. Ostensibly it's for blowing off steam. May actually generate steam.
Sumo - The Shuten Clan is hosting sumo fights, and rules are expected to be followed. Shuten representatives are also expected to win any match they participate in, less they lose some pay. The prizes for winning are special sake gourds that enhance the flaovor of any drink contained within.
Food Runners - Need extra cash? Do some food running, with some extremely difficult to manage delivery gear. But the pay's good!
Bathhouse Orgy - As promised, the Tamamo have opened up their bathhouses on the route up for free-for-all fuckin'. All manner of kinks will be provided for, and some of the bathhouses will have transparency glamours cast on them to allow shows to be put on. This is the horniest prompt, by far.
Floats - Help carry elaborate lantern floats depicting huge dioramas of famous mythological events throughout Japan's history, though the depicted heroes and villains seem to be reversed...
Fireworks - Explains itself, but the fireworks are especially fantastic since they're largely created by magic, rather than simply pyrotechnics.
The assassination - The Daitengu will be assassinated in the outcome of the underground machine causing a massive cloud of steam to flood the entire parade route. Panic will ensure, and black-suited youkai will clash with the White Wolf Guard, eventually succeeding in killing the Daitengu

Brief Rundown:

He's a disgraced yakuza, coming from the Slumscape CRAU so he's also possessed by an Uwabami. He is both very feral and fighty as well as cares more than he wishes he does. He's stupidly loyal and sentimental, which is kind of what they were trying to torture out of him and failed. He's super traumatized from torture, abuse & grooming, and Hakagemachi.

My character development goals are to help him get more comfortable with opening up to people and also to find interesting ways to express himself. I want to pick up his major shapeshift into snake form as his first big regain, but once he's back in Slumscape shape it will be faction progression.

In Yakuza 0 he gets dragged in to all kinds of stupid substories, so he's also pretty much a pushover when it comes to getting involved in other people's business. Easy mode honestly.

I am mostly here to let Majima have a good time until shit goes downhill. Mostly.

🐍 Hanami - He has a lot of ghosts and I am going to take advantage of that and give him a miserable moment.
🐍 Sumo - Majima and Kiryu are extremely monstrous fighters even at a 'human' level. I am interested in Majima getting to show that off. He's not the biggest guy around but he is a really smart and ruthless person. So wehere he might not have brawn, he has brain. I'm happy to RNG for fights where the power differential doesn't seem immediately clear.
🐍 Food Runner - He always needs cash, so he'll be doing a bit of this. Happy to interact howeever.
🐍 Bathhouse/Tamamo - Majima will be cross dressing as his drag persona Goromi (she's canon, man). Goromi-nee-chan has run several hostess clubs before and is here for any Tamamos who want a big sister to give them tips or keep an eye on them.
🐍 Spicy - 🔞 Both Majima and Goromi are available for smut. F/M/* 21+ Goromi is a little more relaxed, whereas Majima is the persona that really shows the trauma that he's gone through. He can be flighty and he has some rules about how he wants to be touched/how much. If you're not down for any trauma in the narrative, he's not your guy.
🐍 Floats - Miss Goromi will be riding a float. Happy to interact around that in any capacity.
🐍 Firewords - Will be busy out on a date with Izo and Emily.
🐍 The assassination - Will be mostly busy keeping near Emily, but we're welcome to do whatever. Maybe accidentally get punched in the fog.

GOROMI.... i might have to yell for goromi before all else but i think aerith will definitely be contacting majima after the assassination at the very least, they gotta talk about DEFECTORS in sutoku. or something similar.

for potential spice aerith did make a sort of bet with tenkohime and majima is shuten... though if things don't lean that way i am a-OK with it, too lmao. i would just love to do something with you for the calm before the storm; probably aerith will want to talk to him muuuch later in the evening just to recoup!

In any case, I was thinking that Dante could make it to the semi-finals of the sumo tournament before eventually losing to a more skilled opponent. After all, he's still just a foreigner in a very foreign land.

His brawn can only carry him so far.

Snakes are about like adaptability and rebirth, so all his personas and costumes are kind of hinted at already by the tattoos he has. I am enjoying finding ways to pull that out into Pupjima without necessarily going full batshittery.

Well, okay! We could have the two link up after the Sumo match then. It would be more fun for Dante to be at the bar drowning his sorrows and Miss Goromi shows up in full glam.

I'd love to get some CR between these two in general (they can be eventual traumabros, it'll be great... or something), but I'm thinking I could either throw her at him at the Hanami showing (and just have her be under the peace effect food maybe, so they're not both curled up in an agony ball) or maybe they can run into each other at the bathhouse?

If you've got a preference, I'll happily go for either, otherwise I can just pick at random too.
