Looking over your revised threads (I wasn't certain if you wanted to be able to keep editing that thread whenever, so I'm just replying here), I think the best option for them to run into each other is probably during the assassination chaos? Without a gun, LB is similarly not going to be real useful in combat (unless Huaisang wants to distract someone long enough for her to hug them unconscious? lmao), but she does have pretty vast stealth knowledge, so they can maybe pull each other behind walls or use use whatever debris they find lying around to distract offenders?

Even if they haven't threaded yet, LB is very good at remembering faces, so we could say that either she or both of them remember seeing each other at the Tamamo gathering, if you want to avoid any awkwardness there!
