long-slain infamous demon from the heian era, shuten is a hedonistic oni who once terrorized the ancient capital of kyoto with her oni gang, known for kidnapping young girls, eating them and getting beheaded for it. she's a menace who loves to drink, party, fight and indulge in beautiful girls and handsome men. that said, she's also mysterious and elegant, and maybe she secretly kind of wants to be closer to humans even if she jokes about eating them all the time? :) it's complicated.
Initial Ideas: shuten will be having a blast and going wild and will generally not be much help during the assassination chaos — but she can be roped into pretty much anything, so!
• hanami: shuten's going to delight in this ... she loves flowers, sake and flower-viewing but ghosts and corpses under the ground? how wonderfully hellish. she's def going to drink an olympic pool's worth of alcohol throughout the festival. also!! she's going to be dressed up all cute and pretty
• sumo: oni love sumo; old legends say she and ibaraki sumo wrestled in the mountains of niigata. she's tiny but i plan to have her win some before getting bored and maybe scuffling outside the ring because she loves trouble
• bathhouse: yeah, why not! shuten gets frisky, so definitely hit me up if you wanna do something with shuten here. also, if anyone is down for shuten getting oni-levels of frisky — as in, biting, blood, etc., let me know!
• night parade: shuten is 100 percent riding the mt. ooe massacre float like nobody's business. even if it, y'know, depicts her own beheading?! she's just like that. also looking to have her hand out some cute small lanterns to people uvu
• assassination: probably only going to be doing closed starters and/or tagging out for this one because like ... oops what does shuten care if someone died?! she can be dragged along to help, though! for the sake of clearing her clan's rep, of course
