April Event Plotting

We realize we're doing this sort of backwards, but after some discussion and requests from players, we figure it's better late than never for a centralized plotting post for the event! Again, apologies for our growing pains, but we hope y'all are understanding.

Here's a breakdown summary of every prompt on the event;

Hanami The Sutoku Alliance has arranged for spectral cherry blossom trees for flower viewing, offering all kinds of food and drink to enjoy. The foods tend to be "enhanced" with peace/love inducing feelings, but they don't have to be. The spectral trees are a little creepy, if examined too closely.

Kanamura The Tamamo's foods from the mini-event are back, and are taking all kinds of cheeky forms. Sexy foods, but do not strictly need to lead to sexy times.

Hadaka - The Department of the Enma is allowing a naked endurance race, folks packed together in basically nothing, chasing after a mobile shrine and trying to grab luck sticks. Ostensibly it's for blowing off steam. May actually generate steam.

Sumo - The Shuten Clan is hosting sumo fights, and rules are expected to be followed. Shuten representatives are also expected to win any match they participate in, less they lose some pay. The prizes for winning are special sake gourds that enhance the flaovor of any drink contained within.

Food Runners - Need extra cash? Do some food running, with some extremely difficult to manage delivery gear. But the pay's good!

Bathhouse Orgy - As promised, the Tamamo have opened up their bathhouses on the route up for free-for-all fuckin'. All manner of kinks will be provided for, and some of the bathhouses will have transparency glamours cast on them to allow shows to be put on. This is the horniest prompt, by far.

Floats - Help carry elaborate lantern floats depicting huge dioramas of famous mythological events throughout Japan's history, though the depicted heroes and villains seem to be reversed...

Fireworks - Explains itself, but the fireworks are especially fantastic since they're largely created by magic, rather than simply pyrotechnics.

The assassination - The Daitengu will be assassinated in the outcome of the underground machine causing a massive cloud of steam to flood the entire parade route. Panic will ensure, and black-suited youkai will clash with the White Wolf Guard, eventually succeeding in killing the Daitengu

Character Name: Sheliak Saarela

Brief Rundown: Sheliak is one of eight people in his world blessed with magic. The magic transformed him into a being made of pure magic energy wrapped in an echo of his human side. Due to his magic being sealed, he is more human now than he has been in years. He's a noble that has dedicated his life to being the perfect son and heir for his family. He strives to be the best at everything, relying on his determination and skill instead of his family name. Because of his fierce loyalty to the Saarela family, Sheliak sees his own desires as secondary and imperfect. They should be kept hidden and he's especially careful about doing anything would damage his perfect image.

Initial Ideas: I was so slow last month but I want to make up for it with this event. In general Shelaik isn't used to having fun really so he will need people to drag him into the festivities. Help him live a little!

Hanami - Shelaik's favorite get away spot was a garden so he will be drawn to the cherry blossoms. He's from a desert world and he has never seen cherry blossoms before. You might catch a glimpse of his hidden side if you are lucky. After learning of the Tamamo's nefarious plan to drug the Shuten fighters, Sheliak is going going to avoid drinking when he can. Getting him drugged with the love induced feelings despite being careful is too good to pass up and I want to play with his conflicted feelings about liking men more. Being wit another man was forbidden back home, but Sheliak broke his rule of never risking hurting the family name with a secret lover. He opens up a ton when he's with someone he loves. Usually he stays closed off until he's really close to someone but if you want to see a sneak peak of what Sheliak is really like, this is a great opportunity for that, as long as you stay in the grove. Sheliak will adamantly pretend nothing happened as soon as it wears off.

Sumo - I am both excited and intimidated by the sumo matches. My stubborn fool promised Toraguma that he wouldn't disappoint him so he will be competing. Shelaik doesn't go into anything blindly if he can avoid it so he did his research and trained for the match. He's tired of everyone thinking he is just a pretty face so he's using the match to send a message. For this to work, I want him to win against an oni from his clan. I'm not thinking a huge one, but large enough that it's a surprise when he manages to use their strength against them to win.

This is the only fight I have set in stone. Sheliak is not a sumo fighter in the slightest. For the first fight, he was counting on his opponent underestimating him. He knows he can't keep it up but he's also arrogant enough to want to try regardless and then fail miserably.

He's a smart fighter who makes up for his weakness's by exploiting his opponent's. He refused to give his enemies an opening if they caught him without his sword so he learned self defense and unarmed combat and like everything else, he didn't settle for anything less than excellent. I'm not sure how much research I will be able to do for the sumo fights and I'm still getting the hang of fight scenes but if anyone wants to fight him, please do! Someone needs to throw him out of the ring. Failing is an important lesson for him.

Tamamo vs Shuten - I love the clan rivalry between these two! (I need to get back to Tenkohime's post. Sorry I'm slow orz) After he loses, Sheliak will push aside his injured pride and focus on making sure the matches are kept fair, without the influences of foxes.

He learned about the Tamomo plan to drug the fighters and while he is used to underhanded methods, it makes him extremely competitive when someone threatens his clan. So he's out fox hunting. He discreetly suggested bringing more alcohol from within Shuten territory as a way to show more clan pride and he's on the lookout for anything suspicious. He will also refuse any Tamamo that tries to seduce him, as well as try to distract other Shuten members so they don't fall for them. Shuten is winning this clan pride competition, not Tamamo.

Assassination - Sheliak is going to chase after the assassins and get shot in the process. He avoided injury in the Casino fight because I was slow last month so I'm making him suffer a bit. I want to play with him adjusting to not being able to heal. He's also going to get lost in the steam if anyone wants to play with that.

Sorry for how brief these are! Just wanted to get ideas down before moving to a new state.

Character Name: Robin Laffite
Canon: Visual Prison
Faction: Tamamo
Brief Rundown: Young vampire with the voice of an angel. Likes sweets, bright colors, and nowadays prefers to be the harmony to a melody. Can't be seen without his phone. A little on the innocent and naïve side.

Initial Ideas: Probably stick to Hanami, where he might be freaked out a little by the trees and their unsettling nature, but honestly he's there for some nice sweet snacks and/or treats. Kanamura, because again... food... but it IS a Tamamo thing and he's more than happy to sort of pass out things without thinking about their effects on people! Finally, I'd like Robin to be in the middle of the Assassination as well, probably getting swept up in the action.

Canon: Mahoutsukai no Yakusoku
Faction: Sutoku
Brief Rundown: A once-great intellectual, inventor, and overall pain in the ass who had his arrogant personality shattered by the Great Calamity. Another Western wizard by the name of Shylock helped reform Murr into a man who acts more like a cat than anything else. He has a love for gambling and gems, as well as a genuine curiosity for unfamiliar things.

Initial Ideas: Food Runners would be neat, if only for him to mess everything up. Fireworks because he has a penchant for loud, colorful explosions and would certainly try to emulate that magic with his own--- though to a lesser degree.

Brief Rundown: shameless c/p:Tiny petite demon slayer whose whole deal is Revenge, but that's none of ur business!! On the outside she's pretty amiable, mostly smiles and good-natured teasing. On the inside... let's just say there's a lot going on. I've taken her from a specific canon point also (post Chapter 159) so if you're worried about spoilers let me know!

Initial Ideas:

🦋 Hanami: Shinobu will probably be the least on edge here while enjoying a little bit of food and drink. You'll catch her enjoying the cherry blossoms and admiring their beauty and how pretty they all are... and how pretty your character is too?? The effects of the food she's eating will turn her into a bit of a Flirt (and not in the sadistic demon-killing way either!)

🦋 Hadaka Matsuri: Shinobu will not be participating in the actual hakada dress code but she will be supervising most of the festivities. As a Department of the Enma officer she's there to make sure things go smoothly and to ensure that other clans don't ruin anyone else's fun. If things look suspicious be sure that she'll be around to keep an eye on you or others... but it'll also be a different story if someone wants to fight her!

🦋 A Night Parade to Remember: RIP. She'll be on the look out for those who might become confused or lost during the turmoil created by the White Wolf Tengu. If anyone is need of assistance or even a doctor Shinobu will be there to help! On top of slaying demons for a living she's also a healer, and this might be a good opportunity for her to flex her medical skills once more- hopefully not on your character but who knows!!

Brief Rundown: Serial killer victim later revived (extremely) imperfectly as a zombie to serve as a witch's instrument of revenge. She gives off a sense of inherent wrongness to those who are supernaturally attuned, even with her powers nerfed. She's a bit of a pain in the ass by nature and has got a serious lack of self-worth but neither can quite dampen the fact that she's a good person deep down. Currently struggling with whether she wants to sincerely give a shit about everything here for the sake of her very alluring contract or just say 'fuck this' and do what she wants instead of living under someone's thumb again.

Initial Ideas:

Hanami: She'll probably be spending most of her time here; she loves plants and flowers so this sort of thing gives her soft feelings even before she enjoys the munchies. The voices won't bother her much because even they feel kind of peaceful? Which is a little concerning but w/e, w/e. Aside from simply soaking up the atmosphere she'll also be taking a shit ton of pictures from every angle on her phone as reference images for painting later. The food will make her a fair bit chattier in a non-snarky way, as a nice bonus!

Kanamura & Hadaka: Heh...dicks. Hazel's very amused by the juvenile stupidity of both these events, especially if she spies someone visibly embarrassed by any of the goings-on. Expect to be menaced good-naturedly by a vegetable dildo or tripped in front of a stampeding horde of naked runners if she spies an opportunity.

Sumo: She's very competitive so she'll be entering...but she's also five foot nothing at her best and comically light thanks to having been emptied of all organs and bodily fluids gfdhj. What I'm trying to say here is: please yeet her. If you've ever wanted your character to break some kind of hell record for yeeting a dude, this is your time!! Hazel's a sore loser so she'll come back for several bouts with the same result before getting fed up and biting the next person who tries to toss her out of the ring, ending in a permanent benching by the Shuten refs. If you've ever wanted your character to suffer some really petty sports injury, this is also your time!!

Goodnight sweet shitposter: RIP Daitengu, my dude. :( Counter to the other events of the night Hazel's going to be pretty serious once shit starts going down. Once she learns the hard way the black youkai can't be meaningfully slowed or stop she'll switch her efforts over to helping out people who've gotten trapped in the chaos. She's still in a mindset of 'any pain I feel is good' so she's very willing to use herself as a meat shield to keep others safe even though she no longer heals the way she should.

I'm down for doing most anything with the other prompts I didn't list as well! So if you have something in mind you'd like to do please let me know and we'll get that going. c:

Brief Rundown: Chief justice of London circa 1900 and anti-crime hardass who wants everything to run perfectly but is always late to everything himself and quickly drops things that don't interest him.

Initial Ideas: He held a faction meeting shortly before the event (here!) to try to coordinate their efforts to maintain order and stop potential criminals, but lmao THAT SURE DIDN'T WORK OUT HUH

Hanami: He'll look around here a little, since he's heard plenty about the cherry blossoms in Japan and figures he might as well see what the fuss is about. He's always more interested in utility than aesthetics so it really isn't his thing, but the refreshments will warm him up to the display and to any potential company a bit! He is not a romantic person by any stretch of the imagination so it could be fun to play with that a little.

Kanamura & Hadaka Matsuri: He is not engaging in either of these and will just be standing by to keep things under control and frown judgmentally. He's not really that much of a prude, he just thinks this shit is ridiculous.

Floats: Honestly if there's a good one themed around bird youkai he might ride along on that for a while and strike some dramatic poses... in order to keep a closer eye on the parade for any potential trouble, of course.

Assassination: lmao HE'S JUST GOING TO BE SO FUCKING PISSED THAT THIS HAPPENED AFTER ALL HIS PLANNING... He's not a fighter himself, so he's just going to be shoving his way through crowds and being generally unhelpful as he tries to gather information about the situation.

Character Name: Lan Wangji

Brief Rundown: It's another sword wizard from Ancient Fantasy China, folks! Lan Wangji is an upright and noble exorcist type who hates evil and the loves righteousness, follows a bunch of rules all the time, and judges everyone about everything. He is insufferable and gets hilariously hung up on the impropriety of stupid shit. He's also a hyper-competent ally who will spontaneously appear to help random strangers, and does not actually let judgment get in the way of progress as much as you would think. He recently regained a few of his powers at low levels, including the ability to talk to ghosts.

Initial Ideas: Almost anything you want Lan Wangji there for, he can be there for. His whole deal is that he "goes where the chaos is" and tries to solve problems where he sees them. Great thing that there's a lot of chaos this month.

I am probably going to be writing up a post with open prompts for at least some of the following, but please, please feel free to hit me up for a closed prompt or to discuss specifics!

Hanami - Lan Wangji is a cultivator, which means it is his job to look into things like "the trees keep whispering about how this is a cursed graveyard." You will find him here. You will find him aesthetically playing his guqin under spectral cherry blossoms, or, uh, digging up a grave a little bit. The ghosts will be telling him they're pretty. They will ask him for blood. He may give them some blood? We are going to find out. Also there are non-blood refreshments, which he can judge you for drinking if they are alcoholic! As you can see, there is a range of activities to peruse here.

Sumo - Lan Wangji wouldn't volunteer to show up at these, since it's not his style of fighting, but he is ripped and physically quite strong if someone had a burning need and a good idea for roping him into it. He also has some wild Backstory-Significant Scarring situations going on if one performs the public service of getting him to remove his shirt.

Food Runners - Lan Wangji will be doing some food deliveries during the event! I had planned to mostly offscreen this, but he recently got the ability to fly for short distances using his spiritual energy returned to him, so your wish (if your wish is to have food delivered to you by a guy riding a sword like a hoverboard) is my command.

More to the point, he's doing it for the money but he's also doing it specifically for Sutoku Alliance purposes -- he's a quiet dude and working his way through the crowds and listening to people who want food seems likely to bear good results. Help him take the temperature on some Kappa, maybe?

Floats - Again, I was planning to mostly offscreen this, but am open to playing out "Lan Wangji gets roped into helping while keeping an ear out for the word on the street."

The assassination - This is probably where Lan Wangji can really shine. He loves the chaos! He would have absolutely been caught up in the scramble and could be found helping civilians, getting shot at while trying to pursue assassins, rescuing other people who got shot at while trying to pursue assassins, doing minor healing magic on bullet wounds, arguing with the White Wolf Guard about using the body to summon the Daitengu's spirit, or trying to summon spirits anyway and getting a bunch of weird static. He could even have been narrowly escaping a face full of steam from trying to take a look underground right before the explosion happened...

After the assassination, you frankly don't want to rely on Lan Wangji for good communication and group collaboration, but he could potentially be very good at standing ominously at the edge of your gathering -- he'd share what he knows in the shortest sentences possible (or even just lead the way to a sewer entrance). He was aware before the event of the underground machine and the likely locations of at least several tunnels to get down there. He will also probably be doing his own investigating if you want to run into him by accident.

Brief Rundown: Ophelia's a blank-slate AI who popped into Jigoku-cho with a database of basic knowledge and a politely artificial personality. Both knowledge and personality are steadily evolving as she interacts with more people. She's still polite, but she's starting to have preferences.

Initial Ideas: So I'm thinking that she'll lurk at in the hanami vicinity for a bit, poking around the roots and being a little disappointed that she doesn't actually have any blood to offer the spirits, since they're so insistent about it. Beyond that, she'll be striping down to play at the hadaka matsuri (she REALLY wants to catch one of those sticks) so she'll be partially naked but in a generally chill sort of way. I also think she'll carry a float for a bit as a way to see a little of how her tolerances match up to humans in the flesh (or...vaguely human things? she doesn't know, but regardless) and she'll be keeping an eye out for people doing investigating things after the Event in the evening because while she didn't know her faction head, she DOES want to know how to investigate a death. XD

Brief Rundown: A disgraced Chinese wizard president. He is coming from Slumscape and has been taken over by Koemi, a celestial fox. He was born in a brothel and climbed his way to the top in his homeworld with some spilled blood along the way before his own inevitable downfall.

Though he does have many some traumas, dealing with sex and prostitution that he is trying to work through, he is very prone to wanting to caretake others. So if you want a friend who will give you some TLC and listen to your woes and possibly cut someone if needed he's your guy.

Power wise I think I'm leaning on him regaining some of his slumscape shapeshifting abilities and his cultivation back before building reputation.

Both Jin Guangyao and Koemi are down for shenanigans.

Initial Ideas:
I'm still getting him to slowly find his place here so this is rather loose as is.
Hadaka- What is a better way to loosen up than a naked run for a fortune? It is a good way to stretch your legs after all.
Food Runners- When he is not working in the bathhouse, he will be running around making deliveries.

Bathhouse Orgy Though he is hesitant about his own sexual hangups, He really wants to make a good impression on Tenkohime (and money) and is willing to work hard. He is certainly going to be on the lookout for clients, especially those he can build up a long-term working relationship.

I think perhaps two or three threads here to start especially if he can be in a more dominant role as he establishes himself in this life. People who are gentler and more understanding of his anxieties would be better.

Jin Guangyao is bisexual so M/M, M/F 18+ are welcome. On the other hand, if anyone wants to sleep with a celestial fox MILF Koemi would also be happy to offer herself to the festivities! It's been a while since she had stretched her tails after all.

He'll also have a stamp card available that people can get a special prize on if they get enough stamps on.

The assassination Jin Guangyao will at some point meet up with Nie Huaisang to assist with getting people to safety in the chaos.

Brief Rundown: Orphan turned death pit fighter turned supernatural yakuza member, Hinata Tatsugami is from a fictional district in an alternate Japan where the yakuza has more power thanks to individuals with superpowers being accepted in their ranks. He's recently been assigned to deliver a mute woman to the highest bidder since she has a power that could destroy the world. Buuut he ends up running off with her, wanting her to live a happy life instead.

Initial Ideas:

Hanami: Hinata is definitely going to be feeling the effects of the food. So instead of the slightly rude, resting bitch faced man that he always is... Hinata will be giving out love confessions! He probably has no idea who your character even is if they are in different factions but he'll admit his love for them nonetheless.

Kanamura: Hinata will probably be seen collapsed to his knees at the nearest stall, staring at the poor treat with a look of absolute terror on his face. He's convinced that it's actually cursed and, somehow, him taking a bite will end with his own junk being destroyed. You can feel free to approach him, or maybe he'll end up approaching you and smacking it out of your hand to save your life.

Sumo: Since he lives in an alternate Japan, and tends to completely ignore most rules when explained to him, you can expect to see Hinata being held down by his fellow Shuten members for supposedly breaking the rules and making a fuss about how it's totally fair game to punch a guy out of an arena with his powers. You can feel free to try to help him out or maybe even join in to give him a good scolding.

Floats: Hinata will help out. Expect some deep insight on how cruel humans can be from him. He can actually relate to the yokai with this.

Assassination: RIP BEST BOY. For the first part of this prompt, I'm going to have Hinata immediately in protective mode because he doesn't know whoever assassinated Daitengu may be going after Shuten next. So, expect him to grab his fellow shuten members to join him in his search for the boss. For another prompt, I'm going to have him actually be down in the dumps about Daitengus death since he's associated with tengu and takes it personally. Then he's gonna start theorycrafting over what it was that happened. Feel free to join him on a little side investigation without Shuten's knowledge!

Character Name: Kazuki Soma.
Canon: Lost Judgment.
Faction: Enma.
Brief Rundown:

Soma was the leader of a criminal organization known as RK. He was literally the only person with any brain cells in it. (laughs) Guess, the best way to explain him is that he's someone who honors order more than he cares about the lives of anyone. It may be why he feels so at home with the Enma; he generally views himself as a knife in the shadows to ensure that normal society can keep running.

In Jigokucho, he is becoming the worst version of himself. He's figuring out the mood/flow of the city. What he's trying to figure out when things start to feel like there's a "disturbance in the force;" not really supernatural but more just learning to be a bit more keen on the flow of order feeling off. But, he's here to make "friends" with as many factions as possible so he can keep an eye on their flow.

Initial Ideas:

- hanami. Look at that? A moment of reprieve. He'll sit under the flowers, get himself a little drink, and maybe even talk to the flowers.

- kanamara matsuri. Soma is fine with being the guards. He'll happily give some warm, empty compliments to the bodies that are about. Good job; you're doing great, sweeties.

- sumo. Soma is there to make some money. He got a green light so he's there to make some bets with people and other youkai. Money is a good way to make the world go round. He'll even give some cheers to people, and maybe buy them something nice if they did enough of a good job. 'Cause them winning made him money.

- floats. He's going to lie to people to see how much Japanese history that they know. Yes, he wants people to explain things to him; he's doing it to see what people know and also just to be a light-hearted asshole.

- assassination. He's here to try to maintain order as best as he can. This will probably be one that is going to be tagged out rather than making a TL. Since he is running around to try to evacuate; but wouldn't this be a good chance to destabilize some factions? No, Soma. Brief Rundown:

Artemy is a healer during a pandemic that hit his hometown. Some meta-commentary with him, too, but that only happens if someone is able to break his 4th wall. Anyway! He's someone who is very hot or cold with people, honestly. He says he's not very judgemental but he can be very judgemental if someone says the wrong thing to him. However, he's quick to forgive and does not hold grudges. Most people don't believe that about him, and think he is still mad when he honestly just does not like holding onto bad feelings if he can help it.

While here, he honestly loves the youkai. He wants to understand their culture; he wants to understand them. Due to some endgame shenanigans, his spiritual vibes are terrible but he has great affection for the youkai -- he considers them miracles. The way that the Sutoku welcomed him; he thinks of all as his kin. They are his family and he will defend them as such.

He's an odd healer that digs around the garbage and also touches clocks a lot. :\

Initial Ideas:

Probably more tagging out with Artemy than making a TL, actually.

hanami. Artemy donated some of his blood for the flowers. Of course, he is going to go check them out! He'll be surprised to actually hear the flowers and that they can talk; he also might talk them up. Not like Soma who is doing it flippantly, but earnestly curious about what the flowers have to say.

hadaka matsuri. You know what? He is going to do it. It is a way that will get him to really know others.

floats. He doesn't really know any of these?? He is just very??? But he thinks that they're all nice and might just go ask someone to come ride on some with him. It'll be fun. They're supposed to have fun, yes?

assassination. And then the ground drops from underneath him. He will be furious about the fact that his leader was killed. He knew about it from Aerith mentioning it, but still, even with the promise that he would feel no regret... he feels so much. He'll probably run to chase after the assassins. I'M A HEALER BUT -- he is going to end up pretty badly hurt. :\

Ethan's an Infected, a group that was commonly scapegoated, imprisoned, or killed for anything wrong in their world so he's a little touchy about the assassination and detainment of ALL Kappa. He's used to trying to deal with these things with optimism, a sense of humor, but... man, it's hard sometimes. :////

Initial Ideas:
If anyone wants to do something for the festival itself, hit me up, and I can definitely tag into stuff like that! A lot of my initiative got eaten up by /gestures at the assassination but there's still room for cute shit.

In terms of a toplevel, Ethan's gonna be processing the events of the last few days with some good old fashioned art therapy.

He's also down for the extremely risky business of sheltering Kappa but since he lives in Sutoku housing he probably... shouldn't do it in his place? Still, he's severely tempted, he wants to help the confused motherfuckers that probably didn't realize this was bullshit from getting sent to Enma's Happy Fun Tower.

Character Name: Sha Gojyo

Brief Rundown: Sha Gojyo is a cocky highfalutin punk with a seedy past and flirty tendencies. But deep down, he's a guy who pretty sternly follows his morals and is surprisingly empathetic to those he knows may need help.

Not so secretly rather, he doesn't talk about it, he is a hanyou, a mix-breed youkai human hybrid. The signature traits of his heritage are his unnaturally bright red hair, crimson red eyes, and a strange gourd-like marking upon the back of his neck hidden by his hair. Given that he is a CRAU pull from Slumscape, he is also spiritually possessed by another full-blood youkai. Unabara no Akari is the old soul of a guardian amabie who once used to protect small Japanese port towns before dying and finding herself attached to the very surprised and very confused Gojyo.

She is pretty even-tempered and calm, although she thinks highly of herself and carries an air of vanity. She rarely makes herself known except under dire circumstances as she respects Gojyo's autonomy with how he helped her. But her possession is physically known through the blue scales covering his body, fin-like ears, and gills that go down his neck and rib cage. A mask fitting her appearance is usually found tied to the belt of his hip and is entwined with him. (If he loses his mask, he dies).

So really, he is one and a half youkai hiding in a somewhat human-looking meat sack.

In-game, Gojyo is just going with the flow of things. He spent his whole life growing up on the streets, and coming to Jigoku-Cho feels like returning to an old way of life for him. He's doing his best to keep out of any critical faction problems that are going on because he knows that standing out is the best way to land yourself in trouble stupidly.

He will most certainly enjoy the festivities and be peaking around the red-light district quite a lot, despite boss man Toraguma's chagrin.

That being said, he may be unwilling to end up in too much trouble just yet~.

Initial Ideas:

So there's been this incentive the Mods tossed at me a while back, an insinuation that Gojyo's ability to breathe underwater may unveil some valuable clues if he just so happens to explore the River Sanzu. And I am still one-hundred percent down for it and actively looking for a partner to go exploring with him! So if anyone wants to go with him, here's a guy that will help get you into some exciting escapades~

In terms of event stuff:

Hanami - Endless food and drinks are the best way to get Gojyo interested in an event short of having cute girls to hang around. So he will most certainly be around to enjoy the cherry blossoms as they fall. He may jump headfirst into other people's shenanigans after he drinks enough. This fake kappa will have more than enough peace and love to go around~
Kanamura - Heck yeah, I'm down for inadvertently getting this perv drugged up! The more flirty, sexy shenanigans, the better~ Gojyo is recuperating from a near five-year dry spell after being stuck with four men on a long road trip for nearly three of those years. So he eagerly wants to see if he still has his mojo back.
Hadaka - Gojyo would avoid the race like the plague under normal circumstances. As much as he wouldn't mind seeing a cute girl running nude through the streets, it also comes with many naked men. And he knows his terrible luck of inadvertently getting roped into situations like this. That being said he is robust and durable and has legs long enough to outrun many people. So if someone wishes to rope him into it- go for it!
Sumo - This Gojyo is 100% down for! You would think with his avoidance of the
Hadaka would equally stay away from this. But the thing is that Enma runs the Hadaka while his boss runs the Sumo, so yeah- Also, he is confident with his years of fighting experience to think he'd own it in an arena setting such as this. Also.
He likes money.
Food Runners - Yet another thing Gojyo would be down to do! Small helpful tasks around town to make a quick buck are something he's not opposed to, and the fact that it's considered a bit of a challenge only insights into his naturally competitive nature. That being said, he gets dissuaded quickly and is not the most straight-laced worker. But let's work hard together, yeah~?
Bathhouse Orgy - Gojyo is hyped to know the bathhouses are open for use to the public. Gojyo is also going to be very, very surprised if he happens to find a casual orgy. Not that he's judging or anything. All of you can do all of you. Literally. (Hah) But Gojyo would be a little hesitant to take part. Not because he isn't into it. That's hot. But more because he still hasn't broken off from his dry spell. And he wants to make sure he's still got his skills going strong before just launching himself off into the fray. Not that he wouldn't have quite the conversation with anyone who would try to beckon him over to talk to him during it all. (Go on. Try to convince him. It would be interesting)
Floats - Truthfully, he would be more fascinated by the actual Japanese lore than he would be of the youkai side of it. He grew up in a life torn between both worlds and is used to hearing different perspectives from different sides. But having grown up in China, the Japanese lore and cultural differences would be fascinating.
Fireworks - Hey cool. Fireworks. Eh? Does magic make them? That's cool, he guesses. Truthfully considering the world he's from, Gojyo is immune to hearing about practical magic. It's fairly common in most youkai cultures, even back where he grew up. Why focus on the fireworks when he can focus on whoever he's watching them alongside???
The Assassination - As stated in the overview, Gojyo isn't one to play his hand so early in the plot and cause unnecessary trouble when he doesn't have to. The assassination won't mean much to him as it's primarily politics in his eyes, and he comes from previous worlds where death was a reasonably common occurrence. Who cares about another dead politician, yeah? It happens all the time. But if anyone during the parade should cross his path during it, he will not hesitate to take them down. After all, death is how things were back in both the previous worlds he had lived within. This event will also mean that he's more than happy to follow the rule of kill or be killed if anyone tries to attack him.

It also has a ton of information about him and the youkai possessing him, and what influences Slumscape had on his character.

Looking forward to the day he gets enough of his powers back so he can reawaken some of those transformation skills his youkai gave him.
