Pretty sure that's part of the problem, though. It's the equivalent of left on read, trying to give a blanket response of "we'll fix this" but then going well over 24 hours without a single reply to any comment.
That's not to say jumping in and replying to everyone would've been a good idea, either. Obviously it's important to take a minute to breathe so they can reply calmly without escalating anything. But they should be giving further indication that they're still around.
Right now, not speaking at all sends its own message, which we're left to interpret for ourselves, and could range anywhere from simply needing time to decide how to handle this, to more deliberately trying to ignore everyone long enough that every player who has a "problem" with them goes away.
The only solution to any of this is more communication.
