agreeing with win here! fully on board with the points sven is making further up as well, but i think the continued loss of momentum is a real concern even if sorting everything out is the bigger issue.

we can't handle another flood like the last app round, it'd snap the game over its knee tbh, but allowing a controlled trickle or just adjusting the rate of app rounds for a while might be necessary
