Agreeing with the limitations on just allowing comments from this month and this month only being a bit punishing for slower tagger. This automatically puts any thread started before the 1st on the backburner even if it was started in the latter half of the month. As a result, this can contribute to a feeling of needing to tag into new posts quickly which the mod team has mentioned being something they were concerned about in the past.
I think allowing for threads started the month before that haven't been used for rewards would give slower players a little more leeway without overextending themselves when plot events are developing quickly. It might help reduce stress all around and make it easier for players who like to dive deep into developments and explore with their characters to actively participate in plots.
